Client Account Manager, Large Customer Sales (Tech)

For more information, visit www.redditinc.com. We're looking for a Client Account Manager to join the Automotive vertical of our Large Customer Sales team. This person will closely collaborate with their Client Partner on campaign execution and optimizations to help agencies and advertisers achieve their marketing objectives on the fast-growing Reddit platform. Please note that this role is required to be based our of our Los Angeles office. Responsibilities: * Collaborate closely with Client Partners to meet and exceed your clients’ marketing goals * Proactively manage and deepen relationships with existing advertising partners, both with agencies and directly with clients to drive year-over-year Reddit revenue growth * Lead and execute campaign launches from start to finish, delivering insightful optimization recommendations to agency and client partners * Act as the primary point of contact for internal account operations, including managing revenue delivery, troubleshooting issues, and escalating when necessary * Educate brands and media agencies, effectively communicating Reddit’s value proposition and best practices for advertising on the platform * Consult clients on their awareness and direct response objectives, partnering closely with Client Partners to craft thoughtful and creative media plans * Collaborate with Ad Ops to ensure effective campaign delivery and resolve any technical hurdles * Dive deep into campaign performance data, audience and competitor insights, seasonality, and market and performance trends to develop KPI-driven campaign recommendations * Proactively seek and represent client needs and asks to cross-functional stakeholders * Shape Reddit’s native ads product roadmap by aggregating and sharing client feedback and campaign metrics with cross-functional stakeholders Required Qualifications: * 5+ years of experience in advertising sales and account management * Strong understanding of customer marketing funnel and traditional marketing ecosystem * Comfortable with problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. * Understanding of Digital measurement, tracking fundamentals and mobile measurement partners * Tenacious and entrepreneurial approach to working through product, process, and client challenges * Experience cultivating strong relationships with external partners * Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced and unstructured work environment * High attention to detail * Proficiency in Excel preferred * BA / BS degree or equivalent work experience Benefits: * Comprehensive Health benefits * 401k Matching * Workspace benefits for your home office * Personal & Professional development funds * Family Planning Support * Flexible Vacation (please use them!) & Reddit Global Days Off * 4+ months paid Parental Leave * Paid Volunteer time off #LI-onsite Pay Transparency: This job posting may span more than one career level. You will lead a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers to help agencies and advertisers achieve their marketing objectives on the fast-growing Reddit platform.    Please note, this is one role that is required to be based in person in Los Angeles.  Responsibilities: * Leadership & Talent Development * Actively coach, develop and lead a team of Client Partners and Client Account Managers * Manage a high-performing team by recruiting and retaining top talent, while balancing resources efficiently * Keep a pulse on key industry trends and insights and leverage your deep vertical knowledge to further the development of your team * Provide thought leadership and guidance around account planning to your team  * Cross-functional Partnerships * Represent the interests of Entertainment internally by promoting sales narratives and initiatives that align with client needs * Collaborate with XFN sales and marketing teams like Enablement, Measurement, Insights, and Creative Strategy to advocate for the needs of your team and their clients and identify creative solutions * Partner with XFN teams like Business Development to elevate the Reddit/Client partnership across all company touch-points, including but not limited to advertising * Partner with Marketing to drive new product launches, marketing communications, and new advertiser acquisition * Partner with Sales Ops and Finance to develop financial and operating targets and ensure alignment with strategic plan * Client Relationship Management * Generate revenue growth by expanding partnerships with some of the world's largest brands * Navigate large partnerships that include multiple lines of business, brands, and priorities * Act as an advocate for Reddit and your team by cultivating key C-level client and agency relationships * Business Strategy * Craft and execute a strategy that will enable your team to exceed revenue targets for their book of business * Advise sales leadership and product management regarding market opportunities, sales positioning, use of resources, and strategic planning * Develop a deep understanding of Reddit’s advertising platform to unlock enhancements and revenue potential Required Qualifications:  * 10-15+ years experience in digital media sales and/or marketing * 3+ years of people management experience within sales * Expert in digital media with an emphasis on paid social * Genuine passion for mentoring others with a track record of successfully fostering career growth for those on your team * Experience navigating complex organizations and engaging with executive-level Entertainment stakeholders * Experience thinking and acting globally to unlock revenue for Reddit in the US and all major markets * Experience with direct advertiser sales including negotiations and management of strategic partnerships * Excellent communication skills and executive presence * Strong analytical and problem-solving ability * Strategic thinker who can connect the dots between market trends, client needs, and unique platform capabilities to identify lucrative business opportunities * An action-oriented leader who can break down a complex strategy into an actionable plan that will allow your team to execute successfully * Experience with both brand and direct-response marketing objectives * Prior startup or high-growth experience preferred, builders wanted!
