What you'll be doing
As our Reconciliation Specialist, you’ll be the person who owns the reconciliation of treasury flows across the Satispay Group,
ensuring that what moves through our bank accounts, product flows, and intercompany structure is accurately reflected in our
financial records.
identifying and resolving discrepancies between bank statements and internal entries. Reconcile product-related financial flows
(Welfare, Connect, etc.) against G/L postings, investigate deltas, and manage intercompany transactions. Post treasury-related
journal entries in SAP and systematically resolve discrepancies.
providing clean, signed-off balances within agreed deadlines. Ensure product flow G/L balances are fully reconciled for
financial statement purposes, produce reconciliation status reports, and support internal/external audit processes.
Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through ERP configuration and improved system interfaces. Contribute to building
a structured controls framework and design reconciliation processes for new products from the outset.

(BBSA) is building a Luxembourg-regulated EMI and CASP. WHAT YOU'LL DO We're seeking a Customer Funds Reconciliation and Safeguarding Specialist to operate BBSA's safeguarding controls for customer funds in fiat and digital assets within EMI and CASP environments, ensuring daily reconciliations, exception management, and audit-ready documentation. This role is critical to maintaining strong operational discipline, accurate safeguarding calculations, and reliable reporting to management and auditors. RESPONSIBILITIES Daily safeguarding calculations and reconciliations • Perform daily safeguarding calculations and reconciliations between customer liabilities and safeguarding accounts (wallets) and permitted safeguarding instruments. • Ensure reconciliations are complete, accurate, and performed within defined timelines, with appropriate sign-offs. Exception management and root cause analysis • Identify breaks and anomalies, investigate root causes, coordinate fixes with Operations, Engineering, Finance, and banking partners, and document outcomes. • Maintain a structured log of exceptions, root causes, and remediation actions. Documentation and audit readiness • Maintain safeguarding policies, procedures, runbooks, and evidence packs. • Ensure processes are inspection-ready at all times. • Support internal and external audits and respond to information requests related to safeguarding and reconciliations. Partner interfaces and operational controls • Work with banking partners and custodians, as applicable, to ensure statement availability, cut-off alignment, and operational robustness. • Support contingency procedures for operational disruptions affecting safeguarding processes. Continuous improvement • Drive automation and improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and operational risk in reconciliation workflows. • Develop operational metrics and dashboards to monitor safeguarding performance and exceptions. WHO YOU ARE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field. * 5+ years in payments operations, reconciliations, safeguarding, finance controls, or similar roles. * Experience operating daily controls with tight deadlines and strong evidence discipline. * High professional fluency in English. What you'll be doing As our AP & Payment Operations Specialist, you’ll be the person who owns and ensures the accurate, timely, and reliable execution of vendor payments across the Satispay Group. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: * Vendor payment execution – Run end-to-end vendor payment cycles directly across our banking platforms, utilizing invoices and purchase orders from SAP, while managing and prioritizing the payment queue based on due dates and urgency. * Exception resolution – Investigate and resolve transactional discrepancies, eliminate duplicate payment risks, clear delayed or unmatched invoices, and accurately handle payroll-adjacent flows such as pension contributions and loan deductions. * Process optimization & infrastructure – Maintain and scale the payment workflow, document processes within a robust operational playbook, and partner with the Treasury Manager to bridge structural gaps and automate payment flows via SAP bank connectivity. * Cross-functional coordination – Serve as the central point of contact for internal payment requests, collaborate with Accounting and Procurement for smooth handoffs, and align with Controlling to maintain high internal standards and audit readiness. The successful candidate will join a growing team and will be responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a portfolio of Luxembourg-domiciled funds, corporate clients and special purpose vehicles (SPVs), including securitisation structures established to participate in capital market transactions. This role is ideally suited to a candidate who is keen to build strong technical foundations in fund and SPV accounting through hands-on preparation work and continuous learning. RESPONSIBILITIES The successful candidate will primarily focus on supporting the team through preparation and execution of core accounting tasks, including: * Perform day-to-day accounting operations for a portfolio of corporate entities; * Bookkeeping and preparation of monthly/quarterly management accounts/ NAV Pack as required by clients; * Assist in capital call and distribution, fee calculations and reconciliations (bank, position, portfolio). * Preparation of annual financial statements under Lux GAAP/ IFRS; * Support audit processes by preparing documentation and responding to queries; * Assist with cash management and payment preparation; * Preparation of VAT returns, tax filings, and regulatory reports (CSSF, BCL, ECDF); * Liaise with clients, investment managers, external auditors, tax advisors, legal counsel and other stakeholders; * Support the business in responding to client needs on an ongoing basis; and * Ensure that ethical standards and human rights principles are upheld across all areas of responsibility. REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; * 2-3 years of relevant experience in fund or SPV accounting, ideally within the Luxembourg financial services sector; * Strong knowledge of Luxembourg GAAP (IFRS exposure is a plus); * Proficiency in English, knowledge of French or German is an advantage; * Proficiency in Efront or similar applications desired but not essential; * Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn; * Good organisational skills and ability to follow structured processes; * Proactive mindset with a strong work ethic; * Ability to work both independently (on defined tasks) and as part of a team; and * Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
