We're committed to fostering a culture of creativity, belonging and continuous learning, attracting and developing the brightest talent, and providing exciting career opportunities that help our people grow.    For more information, visit WPP.com.     We invite applications from qualified CA with 1-2 years of experience We prefer Mumbai based candidates only.   Why we're hiring:   Filing GST monthly RETURNS (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B) of Clients ,  Filing of GST returns as per GSTR -2A & GSTR-2B Available Input tax credit (ITC), Preparation of GSTR-9 & 9C Annual Return (Indirect taxation).   What you'll be doing:   * Preparation of GSTR-1, GSTR-6 * Reconciling Outward GL Liability balance with Register and incorporate items not covered in register but appearing in GL; * Coordinating the details of advances received and advances adjusted against subsequent billing, before finalising the monthly GST liability; * Preparation of GSTR-3B Returns, Addressing the queries of consultants related to input & output transactions, before arriving at the final liability; * Reconciliation of Inward Register with IMS & take action on GSTN Portal & then perform ITC reconciliation with GSTR-2B * GST Credit reconciliation – Compiling the details, sending mails, calling vendors for resolution, etc. * Review of GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B Returns prepared by team and ensure that team adheres the timelines * Provide guidance to the team on new changes / amendments in law * GST Audit - Compiling the details for Annual GST Audit based on the monthly return and books of accounts. Provide other reports on input and all the items of expenses, as required for the purpose of audit; * GST Audit / Assessments / Appeals – compiling details required by tax authorities in respect of ADT-01 & ASMT-10 / DRC-01 * GST – Application for new number, Amendments in existing numbers, amendment of signatories, etc.; * LUT - Preparation and submission of application for Letter of Undertaking in relation to Export Undertakings; * Miscellaneous - Advisory services on applicability of GST, Rate of tax applicable, HSN Code to be used, allowability of input credit;   What you'll need:   * Should be an experienced problem solver with excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Prior experience in Indirect Taxation. * Qualified CA with 1-2 year of experience into Indirect Taxation (GST) * Advanced MS office skills.   Who you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views. In this role, you will be primarily assisting the team of experienced tax professionals in day-to-day tax compliances along with advisory and litigation-related matters on need basis.   What you'll be doing: Direct Tax: * Assistance in managing all the direct tax compliances such as Corporate Tax Return, Transfer Pricing Certificate & Reports, Monthly TDS compliances, Assistance in Statutory Audit and Tax Audit, advance tax compliance, deferred tax, Effective tax rate reconciliation, Master file compliances, SFT Filling etc. * Carrying out Reconciliation of book revenue with Form 26AS and computing TDS to be claimed in respective year’s Income-tax return * Review of tax financials and computation of income * Assisting in compilation of details related to Direct Taxation litigations * Monitoring of notices and various correspondences with the Direct tax department     What you'll need: * Willingness to learn on the job * Relationship and Networking skills of the best nature * Confidence in communication * Working responsibly in inclusive environment with integrity, teamwork and trust * Proactiveness and eagerness to learn new developments   Minimum qualifications: * BCom/MCom (3-6 years) or CA Inter (prior articleship / work experience in Direct taxation shall have added value)     Who you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views. You will also be involved in implementing new technology and developing existing processes. What you'll be doing: * Prepare all US indirect tax filings including sales & use tax, gross receipts tax, personal property and Commercial Rent. * Provide excellent service to multiple US companies. * Ability to multitask and be involved in ad-hoc projects as needed. * Work with local Finance teams to build Indirect Tax calendar of filings, get copies of prior year filings & workpapers and build a new database with logins and passwords. * Responsible for monthly accruals and reconciliation of indirect tax accounts. * Handle and respond to notices and assist with tax audits including analyzing various transactions for auditor inquiries and gathering of requested data. * Assist Indirect Tax Manager to determine economic nexus and required registrations for all US companies. * Collaborate with 3rd party vendor and technology teams in the implementation of a tax engine. What you'll need: * A minimum of two years of Big 4 experience in indirect tax compliance and tax. * The ideal candidate will be an experienced problem solver with excellent writing and communication skills in English. * Prior Indirect Tax compliance experience using Tax software. * Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university. * Advanced Microsoft Office skills.   Who you are: You're open: We are inclusive and collaborative; we encourage the free exchange of ideas; we respect and celebrate diverse views.
