entscheidenden Vorteil in hochumkämpften Einsatzumgebungen.

ABOUT US STARK is a new kind of defence technology company revolutionizing the way autonomous systems are deployed across multiple domains. We design, develop and manufacture high performance unmanned systems that are software-defined, mass-scalable, and cost effective. This provides our operators with a decisive edge in highly contested environments. We’re focused on delivering deployable, high-performance systems - not future promises. In a time of rising threats, STARK is bolstering the technological edge of NATO Allies and their Partners to deter aggression and defend Europe - today. ABOUT THE TEAM Minerva is STARK's command and control software — the brain that connects operators to autonomous systems across multiple domains in real time. The Minerva team is a small, senior software group based in Berlin and Munich, working directly with our systems and hardware teams to build mission-critical C2 capabilities deployed in active operational environments. We move fast, ship real software, and operate under constraints most engineers never encounter — low-bandwidth networks, air-gapped devices, high-stakes decision loops. There is no room for abstraction for its own sake. Everything we build ends up in the hands of real operators in the field. YOUR MISSION As a Distributed Systems & Integration Engineer at Stark, you will bring together diverse software components into a cohesive, reliable, and scalable system. You will containerize applications, automate integration workflows, and ensure that complex software ecosystems run smoothly within our simulation environment. Your work will directly support the development of next‑generation autonomous and distributed systems. RESPONSIBILITIES * Build, compile, and integrate a wide range of software modules into a unified system. * Containerize applications using Docker and prepare them for deployment. * Integrate internal and external software projects into the simulation environment. * Automate integration processes using CI/CD pipelines and container images. * Automate the integration of new releases of dependent systems into the simulation environment. * Gain deep insights into multiple projects and adapt them for seamless integration. * Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure system compatibility and performance. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience. * Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software engineering or system integration. * Strong proficiency in C++ and hands‑on experience with software integration. * Proven ability to adapt and build external projects to fit into an existing ecosystem. * Expertise in Docker, container management, and Ubuntu Linux. * Familiarity with distributed systems, inter‑process communication, and system‑level architecture. * Experience with network programming (UDP, TCP) and debugging complex system interactions. * Strong communication and collaboration skills for working in a multidisciplinary environment. * Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex integration tasks. * Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a structured approach to troubleshooting. * Very good English - speaking and writing skills.
