We are looking for a Commercial Intern to support us scaling a key initiative to drive growth at Catawiki: Catawiki Live.
Catawiki Live amplifies our regular auction dynamics through live streams where sellers and users gather around Live-Shopping
format auctions.
As a Commercial intern, you will help build a strong seller lead pipeline for Catawiki Live, conduct seller onboardings, and
support in scaling this initiative (seller analytics, providing insights and guidance to sellers towards growth).
You are going to help us generate sustainable revenue opportunities by opening up conversations with new sellers that the Business
Development team will work on to turn them into committed and fast-growing sellers. Your focus areas will be experienced
Live-shopping sellers across Europe.
You will get to learn about the Commercial function at a marketplace (Sales, Category Management), focused on the early stages of

ABOUT THE ROLE As a Partnership Specialist, you’ll play a key role in growing Catawiki’s partner ecosystem and turning partnerships into measurable business impact. You’ll nurture strong relationships with existing partners, identify new opportunities to deliver impactful partnerships campaigns that can help us reach more passionate buyers and sellers across our categories. You’ll combine relationship-building skills with commercial ownership, a data-driven mindset, strong execution skills and a sense of innovation. From first outreach to campaign execution and launch, you’ll make sure every partnership is thoughtfully planned, carefully coordinated and set up to deliver measurable results. * Partner closely with category teams: Work hand in hand with category teams to identify where partnerships can support category growth, whether by unlocking the right supply opportunities or reaching relevant demand audiences. * Build and nurture partner relationships: Own relationships with existing partners, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring clear alignment on shared goals, expectations and timelines. * Find new partnership opportunities: Proactively explore new types of partners, collaboration formats and partnership models that could help Catawiki reach relevant audiences and unlock growth. * Bring fresh ideas to the table: Monitor market trends, cultural moments, category developments and competitor activity to identify innovative partnership ideas and test new approaches. * Own the process from outreach to launch: Lead partnership opportunities from the first conversation through to proposal, alignment, execution and launch. You’ll coordinate next steps, keep stakeholders informed and make sure every detail is ready before a partnership goes live. * Measure success, optimize and scale : monitor results and translate performance data into clear learnings and recommendations. Use insights to improve partnership strategy, strengthen partner value propositions and scale the initiatives that deliver the strongest impact. ABOUT THE ROLE AND TEAM We are looking for a Sales Development Representative Intern to support us building a strong seller lead pipeline for Catawiki’s Collectables business unit. The sales intern will identify, contact and convince sellers to offer quality objects via our platform with a specific focus on Collectables (Books, Coins, Toys, Trading Cards, etc.), and provide prospects with a great onboarding experience. You are going to help us generate sustainable revenue opportunities by opening up conversations with new sellers that the Business Development team will work on to turn them into committed and fast-growing sellers. Your focus areas will be international sellers (Central & Eastern Europe, Nordics) and emerging online sellers across Europe. You will get to learn about the sales function at a marketplace, focused on the early stages of our sellers’ journey. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Identify, qualify and develop leads through call, email, field visit, fair visit and experts collaboration * Identify and reactivate high potential dormants sellers and organic sign-ups * Qualify inbound leads by working with data and sales tooling * Facilitate a frictionless pre and post-sales experience for new sellers * Build and nurture strong relationships with new sellers to expand Collectables seller network * In cooperation with experts, quickly learn the important characteristics of categories * Select and grow high-potential new sellers and hand them over to the Business Developers * Move in sync with Business Developers to develop growth plans for onboarded sellers WHO YOU ARE * You are a bachelor/HBO or master student in Business or related studies * You are enrolled at an educational institution in the Netherlands for the entire duration of the internship * Strong sales mindset * Problem solving attitude * A passion for the online industry or maybe have a collection yourself so that you are able to understand the language of our sellers * Familiar with G Suite tools (Google sheet, slides) * Fluent in English WHERE YOU’LL BE The role is based in our Dutch office, in the heart of Amsterdam. ABOUT THE JOB *This is a 6-month paid internship We are looking for an intern to support Catawiki’s Communications team on a 6 month contract. As our Communications Intern, you will assist on Communications initiatives as well as on the general day-to-day running of the busy Catawiki press office. Reporting to our Communications Manager, this role calls for a versatile communicator who can confidently shift between researching timely topics, drafting compelling press materials—including pitches and press releases—and supporting proactive media outreach. You’ll play a key role across a broad range of projects, from company announcements and data-driven stories to object-focused communications, helping craft narratives that resonate with media and diverse audiences. Using data in storytelling, reporting on daily coverage and supporting the day-to-day management of the company's corporate social channels are also part of the role. WHAT YOU’LL DO * Managing the press monitoring routine, tracking the coverage generated on a daily, monthly and project based basis * Managing the press newsrooms, uploading all relevant content in a timely manner * Managing our corporate social media channel (LinkedIn) * Support the Comms team with writing and distributing news releases and media pitches, as well as drafting interview briefings and FAQs, helping to secure top tier media coverage for Catawiki * Support in the handling of media enquiries, including involving relevant team members and supporting on any information required * Support with research on various topics, ideation / brainstorming sessions and proactive communications campaigns across consumer and corporate * General support to the team on day-to-day logistics, such as meeting arrangements, general operations, meeting minutes, reporting, etc. * Support with the daily management of our PR agencies across 8 European markets * Assisting on reactive media issues management if needed, including the support on developing statements WHO YOU ARE * In order to be considered for this internship, you need to be registered as a student in a Dutch university during the entire internship period. A tri-party agreement will be requested. * Studying communications, journalism or PR - previous comms work experience at a media outlet, PR agency or brand is a plus * Excellent writing skills (English) and strong verbal communication skills - essential * Knowledge of a wide range of new and traditional media and social media outlets – essential * Competent on Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint - G Suite - essential * Incredibly passionate about our mission and goals * Creativity, an innovator and an ability to think big * Hard working, hands-on and pressure resistant.
