The Group Director, Integrated Investment manages strategic partnerships as part of Crossmedia’s Enterprise Partnership Program (EPP) across all channels. This role serves as the central representative of all Centers of Excellence (CoEs) within our OneMarketplace team, facilitating communication with clients, account teams (media planning) and other departments.  *Must have proximity to our NY office - we work in a hybrid manner RESPONSIBILITIES  * Investment Strategy * Bring investment expertise in strategic and tactical planning uniting across all channels  * Create overall strategic investment roadmap, innovation, and around-the-corner must-haves and watchouts. * Lead budget investment - tactical recommendations and evolutions * Stay up to date on the industry and evolving media landscape across channels * Define the right investment strategy by choosing the right platforms and buying methods (i.e. social platforms, direct v. pmp, utilizing enterprise partner deals, bringing in Crossmedia solutions, addressable audiences) in conjunction with Centers of Excellence and planning/audience teams * Central Investment Representation * Be the central lead representing total investment – collaborating with account, strategy, analytics, audience, etc. practices upstream * Lead cross-channel investment POVs on the marketplace * Lead client and marketplace communications, representing all centers of excellence * Investment Activation * Manage agenda, timeline, and delivery of all client media activation; ensure priorities are clear and staff is working to their total capacity & efficiency. * Manage workflow, communication, and day-to-day account buying accountability and activity * Lead RFPs including ideation, issuance, assessment, and negotiations * Steward buys such as buying platform input, maintenance, budget tracking * Manage reporting & reconciliation: Insight Amplification, Accuracy, QA, actualization, and forecasting * Partnerships: * Develop long and short-term strategic partnership plans—includes maintaining working relationships with partners, * Managing joint business plan negotiations, etc. (across Google, Social partners, etc.) * Manage and negotiate partnership commitments, added value, etc., across direct, PMPs, etc. * Be a key point of deal decision-making, including escalation:  the investment director will have the authority to evaluate any proposed deal of significance. * Team Leadership * Develop clear cross-channel priorities and ensure teams work together effectively to achieve them. * Architect and oversee efficient and effective business processes, including presentations and partnering with multiple teams, e.g., Ad Ops, Operations, and Analytics  REQUIREMENTS: * 12 + years of media experience, with an emphasis on investment. * A strong media foundation across all channels. * Significant experience in client-facing roles, including serving as the primary point of contact for high-profile clients * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively * Strong leadership and empathy/mentoring skills to inspire and develop team members, ensuring high performance and professional growth * Possess an entrepreneurial mindset, enthusiastic about developing the agency with new tools, ideas, and opportunities * Keen awareness of the latest trends and developments in media with a commitment to continuous learning and adaptation * Management, negotiation, and implementation of partnership commitments, added value, etc. * Must have proximity to our NY office - we work in a hybrid manner, with an expectation of being in-office 2-3 days a week.  Salary range $150k - 165k. Reliable, ethical & operates in the best interest of Crossmedia & clients   * Maintains a base-level knowledge of buying for both online and offline media channels:  Digital (Banners, Audio, Video) Search, Social, TV, Radio, OOH [Out-of-Home], Print.  * Owns vendor communications and developing relationships with clients. * Manages RFP process: developing partner consideration sets, putting together RFPs, and managing conversations & RFP development with partners.  * Collaborates on the buying of media, vendor contracts, budget management by individual platforms, billing/invoicing for media campaigns. * Leads knowledge of media buying tools to execute plans and buys- Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM & MOAT/IAS, GCM, Datorama, Tableau etc.  * Applies principles of negotiation to ensure discounts and added value * First ‘gatekeeper’ and reviewer for Assistant’s work.  * Ensures smooth campaign launch & execution and communicates updates internally and externally. * Deep understanding of the Digital media trafficking process * Performs weekly pacing and monitoring of campaign performance Focuses on a quality product, adhering to Crossmedia’s high standards   * Fully comprehends media strategy and tactical details. * Supports Supervisor/Director in the development of media approach * Proactively encourages media + creative integration through cross-agency presentations and timelines * Validates accuracy of data use for reporting * Develops media POVs for clients  * Encourages thinking outside of the box. * Stays up to date with marketplace offerings and new opportunities Personal efforts generate satisfaction – clients, team, company   * Participates in training to enhance their professional growth.  * Mentors Assistant Buyers; provides ongoing feedback and reviews to guide growth.  * Displays a high level of personal dedication and motivation.  * Positively contributes to our culture.  * Troubleshoots team issues and concerns.   * Builds esprit de corps through strong team communication.   REQUIREMENTS * 2 years of experience in a media investment/buying role across online and/or offline channels, including campaign execution and managemen (Digital - Display, Audio, Video), Search, Social, and Traditional (TV, Radio, OOH, Print). * Proficiency with media tools and platforms such as Freewheel, SBMS/Adazzle, GCM, MOAT/IAS, Tableau, * Strong project and campaign management skills, including RFP development, vendor negotiations, trafficking, and pacing/reporting. * Effective communication and collaboration skills—able to manage vendor relationships, support internal teams, and clearly articulate media strategies. * Ability to mentor junior team members  Salary range $62k – $75k. Compensation is determined on the skills, qualifications and tenure of the applicant.  This role requires proximity to New York City. This requires an in-depth understanding of paid social media, along with all media channels and how they intertwine, as well as the intricacies of media activation and campaign performance analysis. This is a NY based role, and we offer a hybrid work setting.  * Manage a team in planning and executing campaigns on a mix of the following platforms: Meta, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Reddit * A strategic POV and the ability to translate that strategy into smart and sound paid social tactics. * Providing strategic leadership based on an in-depth knowledge of each clients’ business. * Ability to provide holistic proactive strategies across multiple accounts: including cross channel strategic optimization, learning agenda, and operational accountability. * Understanding of brand and direct response social initiatives offered in social media paid advertising (i.e. measurement and tracking capabilities specific to platforms). * Skilled in leading day to day client relationships * Liaising, collaboration and building a partnership with internal team members, from account (media planning) to integrated investment teams. * Balancing and meeting deadlines and challenges with strong organizational skills. * A compassionate leader who manages by example. REQUIREMENTS  * 5+ years’ working with paid social media and strategy. Media agency experience is highly desirable.  * Experience in managing large budgets (six figure monthly budgets, minimum). * A thorough understanding of the paid social media landscape and how it’s evolving. * Ability to advance the media product delivered to clients, fueled by a holistic understanding of advertising and media. * A great connector – someone who is skilled with relationship building between in-house teams and partner agencies, along with media partners. * Team management, including managing and mentoring team members. Reviews, performance issues, timely reviews/feedback, active work distribution and fair rotations. * Participation in new business. * Strong listening skills believes good thinking can come from anyone and any place. * A team player willing to compromise their point of view in support of others.
