Our clients are increasingly looking to us to help them make the best use of their data. We’re looking for a Senior Data Analyst, combining solid data fundamentals and sharp analytical judgement with a business focus. Someone able drive data discovery work, work with stakeholders providing or consuming data, and provide clarity and insight for our teams.
Work will include digging into raw, unfamiliar data, frequently at scale and in production, to work out what is there, how it fits together, and where it can and can't be trusted. You’ll separate genuine data issues from quirks of history, size the impact and risk, and give data engineers the clear, evidenced picture they need to build reliable data models.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role, often working at the foundational end of the data lifecycle, but you'll also be guiding clients in extracting the most value and impact from their data. You'll work with large datasets, diagnose anomalies and work out solutions. You'll be a trusted point of support for the data scientists and engineers working with the data, and you'll work directly with clients, shaping requirements and presenting findings to their stakeholders while navigating the governance around sensitive, regulated data.

The business is expanding and we’re in need of highly flexible, capable and technically proficient Business Analysts to join our growing delivery team. As a Senior Business Analyst you’ll be a key bridge between our user experience, development and test teams and client stakeholders, focusing on requirements elicitation, solution design, and working as part of an agile team to deliver the final product. We’re looking for people able to rapidly understand complex business environments and services, with the analysis skills to understand people, process and technical requirements and shape new technology solutions. We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst for our client in Stockholm, to strengthen the measurement and analysis layer around their recommendation systems, working alongside engineering & product. Employment type : Fixed term Contract Duration : 6 Months Location : Stockholm Job Type: Onsite (Potential Hybrid option) Scope of the engagement ● Own the measurement of recommendation experiments - design A/B tests, define success metrics, and deliver readouts that explain not just whether something worked but why. ● Investigate model and system behavior: ranking quality, retrieval coverage, exposure and feedback effects, and the gaps between offline metrics and online outcomes. ● Build the dashboards, data models, and self-serve tooling the team relies on to monitor recommendation health, and leave them in a state the team can maintain after the engagement. ● Partner with engineers and PMs to scope analytical questions sharply - clarifying the objective and sizing the opportunity before they turn into long projects. ● Surface insight proactively: the segment behaving oddly, the metric drifting, the counterfactual worth running. We care about the deliverables and the handover. Work should be reproducible and documented well enough that it outlives the contract. What you bring ● 5+ years in an analytics or data science role, with a track record of operating independently and delivering with minimal ramp-up. ● Direct experience with recommendation, search, ranking, ads, or another large-scale ML-driven product. ● Strong SQL and comfort with large datasets (we work in BigQuery); fluency in Python for analysis beyond SQL. ● A real grasp of experimentation - A/B testing, statistical significance, and the common traps (peeking, interference, novelty effects). ● The instinct to clarify the objective before reaching for a solution, and the discipline to separate what the data shows from what you'd like it to show. ● Clear communication: you can take a messy analysis and land a single, defensible takeaway for any audience, from an engineer to a director. ● A very good understanding and application of advanced statistics Nice to have ● Familiarity with recommender systems internals - retrieval, ranking, candidate generation, offline vs. online evaluation. ● Exposure to bandits, off-policy evaluation, or causal inference. ● Experience building data models and dashboards others depend on (dbt, Looker, or similar) Please let us know if you are interested and if yes, then apply to careers@hybrus.se with your CV, including details about Salary, Notice period and Visa Status.

What you will do * Understanding Truecaller's data. * Taking ownership of quantitative insights for your team, playing a crucial role in product development. * Defining experiments, overseeing their setup, and analyzing their results to drive decision-making. * Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team, ensuring their tracking, reliability, and reporting. * Creating data pipelines and dashboards to measure the team's KPIs and effectively communicate insights to both the team and leadership. * Coaching and mentoring the team on experimentation and data-driven product development processes, fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making. What you bring in * 5+ years of experience in Data Analytics * Experience in using SQL to extract, transform, and analyse data * Experience in data visualisation tools like Looker (preferred), QlikSense, Tableau, or Power BI * Experience in mentoring, coaching, and evangelizing about data in product development * Experience in digging into different data sources to understand why specific customer behaviours happen * Fluent in spoken and written English It would be great if you also have * Big data query tools (we use BigQuery). * Experience with data from mobile applications.
