building and scaling our modern data platform from the ground up. You'll be essential in creating the data foundation that powers
decision-making across our business and drives innovation in Nordic financial services.
We offer a hybrid remote work solution within Sweden, with occasional visits to our HQ in Helsingborg.
GET AN IDEA OF THE ROLE
As a Senior Data Engineer at Resurs, you'll be at the forefront of our cloud transformation, working with cutting-edge AWS
technologies to build scalable, secure, and efficient data solutions. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts,
product teams, and business stakeholders to transform how we leverage data to create value for our customers and drive business
growth.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Design, build, and optimize end-to-end data pipelines and architectures using modern AWS services and cloud-native technologies
- Build and implement scalable unified data platform solutions that support advanced analytics and data-driven decision making
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security across all data flows, adhering to banking regulations and compliance
requirements
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust, scalable data products
- Drive best practices for DataOps, monitoring, and automated data pipeline orchestration
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to the evolution of our data engineering standards and practices
- Lead technical decision-making for data architecture and tooling within assigned projects
ON A PERSONAL LEVEL

challenges. You have a passion for turning data into actionable insights and take pride in building systems that scale. We believe
you also bring:
Essential experience:
- A proven track record of delivering scalable data solutions in cloud environments
- Strong expertise with AWS data services (ECS, S3, Athena, and related services)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with modern data warehouse architectures, optimization techniques, and transformation tools
like dbt
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CDK, or similar) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong Python skills for data processing and pipeline development
- Experience with data orchestration tools (Dagster, Airflow, or similar)
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance in regulated industries
Nice to have:
- Experience in banking, fintech, or other regulated financial industries
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and serverless architectures
- Background in agile development methodologies and DataOps practices

- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
