Specialist Psychiatrist – Northern Norway
We are looking for a specialist psychiatrist for a permanent position in Northern Norway.
You will join a well-functioning outpatient clinic and work closely with an experienced team. The region is known for its relaxed pace of life, strong professional environments, and supportive colleagues.
Your role
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with psychiatric conditions
Contribute actively to interdisciplinary collaboration and treatment planning
Supervise junior doctors and support internal training
Take part in developing the service and improving clinical practice
Qualifications
- European medical authorization and specialist certification in psychiatry
Good English skills and motivation to learn Norwegian (language training provided)
Solid clinical competence and ability to work independently
