Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our
users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and
business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
Anthropic's Enterprise AI Products team builds what makes Claude a daily-use tool for enterprise customers across industries. We
focus on organizational context and workflows (plugins, skills, connectors, webhook-triggered processes / agents). In other words,
we focus on products that form the connective tissue that lets Claude operate across an organization. A big part of this work is
understanding what's blocking adoption and building the capabilities that close those gaps. Much of this is being built 0→1 right
now: you'll be shaping the product and the architecture in a market where no one has done this well yet.
You'll be a technical leader who thinks holistically about the end-to-end customer experience, partners directly with research to
push model capabilities into production, and carries real ownership over what we ship next.

We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few
large-scale research efforts. And we value impact — advancing our long-term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI — rather than work
on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and
biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We're an extremely collaborative group, and we host frequent research
discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time. As such, we greatly value communication
skills.
The easiest way to understand our research directions is to read our recent research. This research continues many of the
directions our team worked on prior to Anthropic, including: GPT-3, Circuit-Based Interpretability, Multimodal Neurons, Scaling
Laws, AI & Compute, Concrete Problems in AI Safety, and Learning from Human Preferences.

Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. DIRECTOR, GLOBAL ORDER-TO-CASH TRANSFORMATION San Francisco, CA | New York City, NY | Seattle, WA ABOUT ANTHROPIC Anthropic's mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems. ABOUT THE ROLE We're looking for an operational leader to partner with engineering, finance and accounting operational leaders to transform Anthropic's global order-to-cash (O2C) function. Our business is scaling faster than the processes and systems that support it, across direct enterprise contracts, consumption-based commercial models, and third-party cloud marketplaces. This role is a key partner with the end-to-end redesign: how orders are structured and provisioned, how transactions flow through our systems, how revenue is billed and recognized, and how all of it stays controlled and auditable as volume compounds. This is a builder's role with a broad remit. You'll help set the multi-year Global O2C roadmap and then manage the critical aspects such as designing front-to-back processes, standing up automation and AI-driven tooling where manual work doesn't scale. Facilitating programs that cut across Finance, Go-to-Market, Legal, Accounting, Tax, and Engineering. If you're energized by ambiguous, high-consequence operational problems at a company at the forefront of AI development, we'd like to hear from you. RESPONSIBILITIES GLOBAL O2C STRATEGY & TRANSFORMATION * Be a key contributor to the vision, roadmap, and execution of Anthropic's global order-to-cash transformation, spanning order management, provisioning, billing, invoicing, collections, and revenue recognition * Assess the current state end-to-end, identify the structural constraints on scale, and sequence a prioritized program of work with clear milestones, owners, and measurable outcomes * Build the operating metrics and reporting that make O2C performance legible to leadership — cycle times, error and rework rates, touchless transaction rates, revenue leakage, and cost to serve * Serve as the senior operational voice in commercial and pricing workflows, translating what the business wants to sell into what we can actually transact, bill, and recognize PROCESS DESIGN & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE * Design scalable, controlled processes from the ground up, applying structured process design and continuous improvement methodology rather than incremental patching * Standardize and harmonize O2C processes globally across regions, entities, channels, and business models, eliminating the one-off exception handling that accumulates in high-growth environments * Establish clear operating rhythms, escalation paths, and service levels across the quote-to-cash lifecycle, with documentation that holds up as the team and transaction volume grow * Build the operational infrastructure that lets the function absorb order-of-magnitude growth without a proportional increase in headcount * Build compliance monitoring into the systems, including SOX controls, themselves so that controls scale with volume rather than headcount SYSTEMS, AUTOMATION & AI * Help drive the O2C systems architecture and roadmap in partnership with O2C Leadership, Engineering and GTM Systems, defining requirements, prioritizing investment, and holding the line on scalable solutions over point fixes * Deploy AI and automation to drive real leverage across the function — automated exception handling and reconciliation, self-service reporting and anomaly detection, and continuous rather than sample-based control monitoring * Lead global automation strategy and evaluation across billing, contracting, and ERP platforms, and drive the implementations and migrations that follow CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP * Drive alignment and results across Revenue Accounting, Deal Desk, GTM Systems, Sales Operations, Legal, Tax, Treasury, and Engineering, influencing outcomes without relying on direct authority * Partner with high-performing operations teams, setting standards, developing talent, and scaling capacity through a mix of employees, contractors, and partners * Communicate progress, trade-offs, risks, and decisions crisply to executive stakeholders, and surface issues early with a recommended path forward YOU MAY BE A GOOD FIT IF YOU HAVE * 10+ years of progressive experience leading operational transformations within Revenue Operations, Billing Operations, or other finance operational teams at high-growth SaaS/technology companies, including experience leading cross-functionally * Expert understanding of process design, cross-functional project management, and scaling systems — including using AI to drive automation, reporting, and compliance * Project management certification (PMP) or Lean Six Sigma Black Belt * Expert understanding of quote-to-cash processes for SaaS, covering both subscription and consumption-based business models across B2B products * Extensive experience with contracting systems, billing platforms, and ERP systems (e.g., Salesforce, Stripe, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday Financials, Zuora) * A proven track record leading large-scale strategic and automation initiatives end-to-end, from business case through implementation and adoption * Experience building and developing operations teams * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, or a related field STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO HAVE * Experience serving both B2C and B2B customers; especially with consumption-based, subscription billing models through to collections * Experience with go-to-market, deal desk and revenue operations organizations * Experience designing and implementing processes with robust internal controls, segregation of duties frameworks and flow of financial transactions in high-growth environments * Understanding of AI industry business models and enterprise customer needs The annual compensation range for this role is listed below. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. About Us At Cloudflare, we are on a mission to help build a better Internet. Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers millions of websites and other Internet properties for customers ranging from individual bloggers to SMBs to Fortune 500 companies. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Internet properties powered by Cloudflare all have web traffic routed through its intelligent global network, which gets smarter with every request. As a result, they see significant improvement in performance and a decrease in spam and other attacks. Cloudflare was named to Entrepreneur Magazine’s Top Company Cultures list and ranked among the World’s Most Innovative Companies by Fast Company. At Cloudflare, we’re not looking for people who wait for a polished roadmap; we’re looking for the builders who see the cracks in the Internet that everyone else has simply learned to live with. We value candidates who have the instinct to spot a "normalized" problem and the AI-native curiosity to create a solution using the latest tools. Our culture is built on iteration, leveraging AI to ship faster today to make it better tomorrow, while ensuring that every improvement, no matter how small, is shared across the team to lift everyone up. If you’re the type of person who values curiosity over bureaucracy, and that AI is a partner in solving tough problems to keep the Internet moving forward, you’ll fit right in. AVAILABLE LOCATIONS * Sweden ABOUT THE ROLE Cloudflare’s Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs) operate at the intersection of product engineering and customer impact. As an FDE, you will be embedded within one of Cloudflare’s most strategic global customers, working side-by-side with their engineering teams to build and deploy solutions using Cloudflare’s platform. Unlike traditional Solutions Architects or consultants, you will write production code, shape technical architecture, and directly influence how Cloudflare products are used at massive scale. You will operate as a technical extension of both organizations - helping the customer ship faster while surfacing real-world product insights back to Cloudflare engineering. RESPONSIBILITIES This role is ideal for engineers who want to: * Stay deeply technical * Work on real production systems * Influence product direction * Build long-term partnerships with world-class engineering teams * Deep Technical Embedding: Serve as the dedicated, long-term technical partner within a strategic customer’s engineering organization, operating as a trusted extension of their team. * Production-Level Engineering: Design, build, and deploy production-ready code and configurations directly into customer infrastructure using the Cloudflare platform. * Technical Accountability: Own the account's technical success across the entire Cloudflare portfolio. Serve as the primary technical point of contact, with other Cloudflare technical resources taking direction from your technical strategy for the account. * Operational Integration: Participate in customer engineering rituals, including daily standups, design reviews, and real-time incident response. * Platform Advocacy & Adoption: Identify opportunities to accelerate the adoption of Cloudflare services, unlocking new capabilities across the customer’s tech stack. * Platform Breadth & Depth: Deep technical competence in building production applications on a modern stack, combined with the willingness and ability to go deep on all Cloudflare product areas. From Workers to security, networking, and observability. * Feedback Loop & Product Influence: Surface real-world edge cases and product gaps directly to Cloudflare’s Product and Engineering teams to influence the developer platform roadmap. * Strategic Relationship Management: Establish and maintain trusted technical relationships with senior leadership (Staff+ engineers, Directors, and VPs). * On-Site Presence: Maintain a regular on-site presence at customer locations to foster deep collaboration and cultural alignment. DESIRABLE SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EXPERIENCE * Proven Engineering Pedigree: 5+ years of professional software engineering experience. You are a builder at heart, with a track record of delivering production-grade systems, not just advising on them. * Production Ownership & Operational Maturity: You have owned mission-critical services with real-world users. You understand the gravity of on-call rotations, the urgency of incident response, and the architectural rigor required to maintain "five nines" uptime. * Active Practitioner: You are currently in the IDE. You have a "ship-first" mentality and maintain a high velocity, staying current with modern frameworks, languages, and deployment patterns. * Full-Stack Architectural Depth: Broad technical fluency across the entire stack—from frontend performance and backend logic to database optimization and distributed infrastructure. * AI-Native Development: You have integrated AI-augmented workflows (e.g., Windsurf, OpenCode) into your daily development cycle to accelerate prototyping and delivery. * Systems Design & Strategic Thinking: Ability to decompose complex business requirements into scalable, resilient technical architectures. You can visualize the "big picture" without losing sight of the implementation details. * Cloud Ecosystem Fluency: Deep experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure), including an understanding of serverless, networking, and security primitives. * High Agency & Navigating Ambiguity: You are a self-starter who thrives in "zero-to-one" environments. You don't wait for a ticket; you identify the problem and own the solution from end-to-end. * Executive Presence: Comfortable engaging in high-stakes technical and strategic discussions with VP-level stakeholders, with the ability to translate complex engineering trade-offs into business impact. BONUS POINTS * Direct experience building on Cloudflare Workers, or the broader Cloudflare Developer Platform. * Previous experience at a fast-paced startup or in a customer-facing engineering role where you operated directly within a partner’s codebase. * A visible public profile, including open-source contributions, technical blogging, or speaking engagements at industry conferences. COMPENSATION For Sweden based hires: Estimated annual salary is between SEK 760,000 - SEK 1,045,000. EQUITY This role is eligible to participate in Cloudflare’s equity plan.
