Aviant does home delivery with drones. We fly at 100 km/h to people's gardens and deliver food and medicine. After starting in the
labs at MIT in 2020, we have performed over 8,000 flights, covered tens of thousands of kilometers, completed more than 30
contracts and managed to take a leading position in the European drone market. We just launched Europes largest base for
autonomous last-mile delivery with drones at Ski. This will be a major event in European transportation, and we are now looking
for a robotics engineer to take an active part in the development and certification of the drone system.
As a Robotics Engineer, you will:
Develop new concepts and designs for the drone, both hardware and software Handle certification worklfows end-to-end from requirements to proof Analyze flight logs when something goes wrong to find and solve the root cuase Relevant technology/topics:
Aircraft type: Fixed-wing VTOL, 2.5m wingspan Communication: UART, I2C, CAN, USB, PWM, NMEA Control: PID controllers, RTK Hardware: BLDC motors, Lithium batteries Physics: Aerodynamics, thermodynamics, rigid body physics Avionics: CubeOrange, Raspberry Pi, uBlox F9P, ICM20948 What we offer:
- Work on introducing a new means of transportation into society. Like building the first cars, you can tell your grandkids that
"I was part of making this happen"
Work in the leading environment in Europe for these systems. Large stock option package. When we succeed, we all succeed! Practical:
