AU PAIR WANTED – ARABIC-SPEAKING, PART-TIME POSITION IN SWEDEN
We are looking for a warm, responsible and caring Arabic-speaking au pair to become part of our family in Sweden.
We are especially interested in someone who comes from an Arabic-speaking country, would like to study in Sweden and is interested
in learning more about Swedish culture and everyday life. Ideally, you are already living in Sweden, but we are open to the right
person who is planning to move here.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The position is part-time, as the children stay with us every other week. The main responsibilities would include:
Helping with school drop-offs and pick-ups
Spending time with the children and being a caring, positive adult presence
Helping with simple everyday tasks around the home
Supporting the children with homework and everyday routines when needed
Speaking Arabic with the children and helping them develop and maintain their Arabic language skills
Introducing the children to Arabic language, culture and traditions
Because helping the children learn and maintain Arabic is an important part of the role, fluent Arabic is a requirement.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone who is:
Fluent in Arabic
Caring, responsible and reliable
Good with children
Comfortable helping with everyday household tasks
Interested in studying and/or building a life in Sweden
Curious about Swedish culture and willing to become part of our family life
Ideally already living in Sweden
Previous experience with children is a plus
The position is not full-time. You would work every other week, which makes this a good opportunity for someone who is studying or
has other commitments during the weeks when the children are not with us.
