Production processes at IRnova include test measurements and characterization of the products - large imaging arrays and
integrated modules. Characterization processes employ a great deal of interdisciplinary knowledge and skills, such as technical
physics, automation and electronic equipment, applied and system programming and mechanical design.
Your mission will be owning the acceptance test procedure (ATP) which will include;
logistics
calibrations
infrastructure
The position implies a substantial amount of practical work in the lab. You will work in close contact with engineers from the
Optronics team, the production team, R&D team.
Required
IRnova is part of a handful of companies in the world capable of producing cooled infrared detectors. These devices, relying on
the fascinating principles of quantum physics, serve both the defence and industrial markets, with applications ranging from tank
sights and anti-air systems to search and rescue and optical gas imaging. An increasingly important market is space, where
IRnova’s world-leading T2SL technology can be used in the extended shortwave region for Earth observation from satellites.
