Join us in helping companies and people communicate in more meaningful ways to make life-changing decisions together.👫 We are now looking for a Legal Counsel to join our team in Stockholm KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Contributing to our business goals by providing the business with proactive, clear, and relevant legal advice. * Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating various types of agreements including SaaS, supplier/vendor, partnership, reseller, data processing and DORA agreements, including providing public procurement RFP support. * Managing the impact of GDPR, EU AI Act and other European and global regulatory frameworks, including impact on product features. * Researching into specific legal topics, for example multi-national regulatory regimes. * Monitoring updates in legislation or directives that may be relevant to our business * Establishing efficient and high-quality workflows (for KM and AI use) based on business needs. WHO ARE YOU? * Qualified lawyer with +3 years of post-qualification experience, ideally in-house or at a technology-focused firm/department. * Fluent in Swedish and English, bonus if you speak French (or other third language). * Eager to learn, researching and compiling information about legal topics. * Able to prioritise a high volume of parallel tasks, ranging from detailed to strategic, without losing quality or composure under commercial pressure. * Able to switch between detailed focus and business overview. * Clear, direct communicator who can explain complex legal issues clearly and relevantly across different parts of the organization (Sales, Marketing, CSM, Product etc). * A true team player, happy pull your weight in a small and supportive team, without constant supervision. ABOUT THE ROLE Do you want to architect, develop, and take technical ownership of modern cloud Digital Workplace platforms while remaining hands-on, managing daily operations and handling routine workplace IT tasks? The IT Operations team is currently scaling our responsibilities and operations. While Storytel’s core IT landscape is primarily built around Google Workspace and macOS, we are in an exciting phase where we are taking over the IT responsibility for companies within the group that mainly operate on Microsoft 365. We are looking for this role to act as the technical bridge for this expansion, which brings an exciting increase in technical complexity, multi-tenant environments, and global reach. In this role, you will step into a vital and highly versatile position. While your primary focus will be acting as our internal driver for MDM and Microsoft 365 governance, this is a broad role where you will manage and work across a wide array of different systems, applications, processes, and projects. Simultaneously, you will remain hands-on, supporting the team in daily operations and taking ownership of Workplace IT. Growth & Opportunities For an ambitious candidate who successfully takes ownership and elevates our MDM and M365 environments, there are great opportunities to gradually shape the role and dive deeper into specialized infrastructure engineering and governance as our landscape evolves. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES * MDM Evolution & Management: Take ownership of managing and developing our device management across our hybrid device fleet with Microsoft Intune and Jamf. You will architect, build, and maintain secure device configurations while also focusing on creating a great user experience with a distinct Storytel look and feel across all endpoints. * M365 & Identity Governance: Architect, configure, and manage our Microsoft 365 environments within a complex multi-tenant structure. These environments are tightly integrated with Okta as part of an advanced identity architecture, utilizing HRiS as a Source * SaaS System Administration: Daily administration, user lifecycle management, and optimization of various SaaS systems used and provided across the group. * IT Projects & Continuous Improvement: Actively lead and execute various internal IT projects. You will be a driving force behind onboarding new group environments and constantly leveling up our technical setup. * Vendor Management & Procurement: Manage relationships and contracts with external IT vendors, hardware suppliers, and SaaS providers. You will oversee software licensing, optimize procurement processes, and ensure we partner with the right external stakeholders. Operational & Workplace Responsibilities * Office & AV technology: Driving the continuous improvement and development of our office technology and meeting rooms, while overseeing daily operations and support * IT-Equipment Management: Managing IT equipment lifecycle operations (procurement, inventory logistics, and on/offboarding setups) for a device fleet consisting primarily of MacBooks, alongside an increasing number of Windows devices. * Daily IT-support: Handling a broad variety of daily support requests from our end-users, both on-site and remote. Ranging from complex technical troubleshooting to routine, autopilot tasks REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS * Technical Experience: At least 3–5 years of experience working within IT operations, modern workplace management, or system administration. * MDM & M365 Expertise: Proven experience configuring and administering Microsoft Intune (device configuration, compliance policies, deployment) and managing Microsoft 365 environments. Experience with multi-tenant setups is a major plus. * Hands-on IT Support: Solid experience handling day-to-day workplace IT, end-user support, and hardware lifecycle management. * Advanced Workstation & OS Expertise: Deep technical knowledge of both Windows and macOS ecosystems, naturally becoming the go-to person in the team for anything related to computer management and troubleshooting. * Bonus Platform Knowledge: Experience with Okta, Google Workspace and Jamf is a strong advantage. * Language: Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken. WHAT YOUR TEAM DOES We’re looking for a Senior Tech Lead to own the technical direction of our Credit & Fraud team, the team at the center of Qliro’s Pay Later platform. What we do here shapes whether customers can pay in a way that actually works for them, and whether we protect them from taking on debt they can’t handle. It’s a dual responsibility, and we take both sides seriously. We’re rebuilding the next generation of this system from the ground up, designed to handle a significant increase in transaction volumes as we scale. Part of what you’ll lead is making this platform ready to operate beyond the Nordics, so the architectural decisions you make now will need to hold up across multiple markets. We’re in the early stages of exploring how AI can help us make better credit and fraud decisions, and we’re honest that this is genuinely complex territory. Credit is one of the most regulated areas when it comes to AI: explainability, fairness, and auditability aren’t optional. We want someone who finds that complexity interesting, not someone who pretends it isn’t there. WHAT YOU WILL DO You’ll own the technical direction of the team and write production-grade .NET yourself, not occasionally, but regularly. You’ll make architectural decisions you can defend, drive performance and scale from the start, and treat observability and decision traceability as first-class concerns, not afterthoughts. Credit and fraud touch nearly everything at Qliro, which means you’ll work across a wide range of stakeholders: product, risk, compliance, other engineering teams. You’ll be the person who can hold a technical position in a room full of people with competing priorities, make a call under ambiguity, and bring clarity when there’s none. You’ll understand the regulatory and compliance landscape well enough to know what constraints you’re building within. You’ll set others up to succeed. Not in a formal, structured way, but in the way that actually matters: sharing hard-won knowledge, asking the right questions, and making the engineers around you better at their craft. WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM * You’ve led technical work on systems where getting it wrong had real consequences, ideally in credit, fraud, risk, or payments, or in a high-transaction financial environment where you’ve developed that instinct. * You’re comfortable operating in a heavily regulated environment and understand that compliance constraints aren’t obstacles to good engineering, they’re part of it. * You understand that in this domain, correctness matters as much as speed, and you build accordingly. * You’ve driven platform transformations before, not just worked on greenfield projects. You know what it means to move away from one system while keeping it running, and you bring the mindset to finish that job rather than work around it. * You have opinions about what good looks like, production-grade code, observable systems, sensible tradeoffs and you’re not precious about being challenged on them. * You’re comfortable being the one who decides when there’s no perfect answer, and you’re open to being wrong. * You don’t wait for a perfect spec to start thinking. How your team works day to day — how often you’re in the office, how you structure your time — is something teams decide for themselves.
