OM ROLLEN Som Cloud Architect ansvarar du för att leda och utveckla kunders molnresor med fokus på Google Cloud Platform. Rollen kombinerar tekniskt ledarskap, rådgivning och kundnära arbete där du får vara delaktig genom hela leveransprocessen. Du arbetar nära kunder, utvecklingsteam och interna specialister för att designa framtidssäkra lösningar och säkerställa att kundernas molnmiljöer är skalbara, säkra och optimerade. Arbetsuppgifterna innefattar bland annat: Leda kundprojekt inom Google Cloud Platform från planering till implementation Genomföra workshops, utbildningar och tekniska rådgivningsinsatser Designa och utveckla skalbara molnarkitekturer utifrån kundernas verksamhetsbehov Ge tekniskt stöd och lösa komplexa tekniska utmaningar hos kunder Arbeta nära kundernas utvecklingsteam för att implementera best practice inom molnteknik Delta i både pre-sales och post-sales samt stötta säljorganisationen med teknisk expertis Bidra till kundernas AI-strategi och vägleda dem i användningen av moderna AI-tjänster inom Google Cloud Säkerställa hög kvalitet inom molnsäkerhet, governance och kostnadsoptimering Rollen erbjuder stor frihet under ansvar och passar dig som vill kombinera djup teknisk kompetens med ett konsultativt arbetssätt. You will thrive in this role if you are: * Passionate about cloud technologies, AI, and modern architectures * Comfortable bridging business needs with technical solutions * A collaborative team player who enjoys knowledge sharing * Excited to work in dynamic, fast-evolving technical environments * Experienced working with Agile teams and consulting environments Role responsibilities * Design and implement scalable and secure solutions on Google Cloud Platform * Provide technical guidance and consultancy to internal and client teams * Lead architectural discussions and solution workshops with clients * Support modern data, AI, GenAI, and cloud transformation initiatives * Build greenfield cloud-native applications and modernization programs * Support workload migration and infrastructure modernization projects * Collaborate with development teams on cloud engineering and release processes * Produce high-quality technical documentation and solution designs * Stay updated on Google Cloud innovations and share knowledge with internal teams * Contribute to the growth of the internal Google Cloud community at Valtech Must have qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications: * Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, development * At least 2 years of hands-on experience with core Google Cloud services * Experience with Google Cloud data services such as BigQuery or Dataflow * Knowledge of formerly Vertex AI or Gemini Enterprise for Customer Experience / Gemini Enterprise. * Professional Google Cloud certification (e.g. Professional Cloud Architect or Professional Cloud Developer) * Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and infrastructure pipeline concepts  * Converting business requirements into scalable and production ready architecture  * Understanding of cloud security best practices * Experience working in Agile environments * Excellent written and spoken communication skills in French and English Nice to have qualifications   * Experience designing and implementing Data Platform solutions such as CloudSQL, Spanner or AlloyDB.  * Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies, including Kubernetes or CloudRun * Experience designing and implementing multi-cloud solutions * Programming knowledge in languages such as Java and Python * Experience with Data ingestion pipelines  If you do not meet all the listed qualifications or have gaps in your experience, we still encourage you to apply. About the Role We are looking for a Cloud Solution Architect who can design scalable, secure, and high‑performance cloud solutions that support our product and business goals. You will work closely with engineering, product, data, and security teams to define architecture standards, modernize infrastructure, and guide the organisation toward a cloud‑native, automation‑driven future. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, influencing engineering direction, and building systems that scale reliably. Key Responsibilities Design end‑to‑end cloud architectures across compute, storage, networking, security, and data platforms. Lead cloud solution design sessions, architecture reviews, and technical decision‑making. Build reference architectures, reusable frameworks, and best practices for engineering teams. Drive cloud modernization initiatives including microservices, containerization, DevOps, and automation. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Ensure cloud environments follow strong security, governance, and compliance standards. Optimize cloud cost, performance, and reliability through continuous monitoring and improvements. Provide technical leadership on cloud migrations, integrations, and platform scalability. Core Competencies & Skills Technical Skills Strong expertise in at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud. Hands‑on experience with: Cloud networking, IAM, VPC/VNet design Serverless, containers (Docker, Kubernetes), microservices CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, Pulumi) Cloud security, encryption, identity, and governance Solid understanding of distributed systems, API design, and event‑driven architectures. Experience with data platforms: data lakes, ETL pipelines, streaming, or analytics tools. Soft Skills Strong communication and stakeholder management. Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non‑technical teams. Strategic thinking with a hands‑on execution mindset. Comfortable working in fast‑moving, ambiguous, and high‑growth environments. Preferred Qualifications 7–12 years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or platform roles. Cloud certifications (Azure Architect Expert, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, GCP Professional Cloud Architect) are a plus. Experience in startup or scale‑up environments.
