Membre de la Practice Data, notre futur Lead Data Engineer sera intégré à nos équipes de conseil (discovery to delivery power) avec la mission de transformer et d’affiner la donnée au sein de nos projets clients (secteur et taille variés), ainsi que de faire le lien entre les équipes IT et métiers (business expert, data scientist, data analyst).

Encadrer une équipe de data engineer pour développer de nouveaux pipelines de données (ingestion, traitement, exposition).
Valider les choix de conception de l’équipe.
Assurer la mise en production et la maintenabilité des flux de données.
Travailler en collaboration avec les data scientists pour leur fournir un support à l’industrialisation de leurs travaux (tests, intégrations continues, scalabilité des modèles, craftsmanship, etc…)
Déployer des infrastructures cloud full infra as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) pour faire le traitement des données
Participer aux évènements internes à la communauté data (datapéro, webinar) et externes (AWS Summit, Devoxx, workshop partenaire, meetups)
Capitaliser sur les missions et les différents évènements de la communauté au travers d’articles de blogs, REX, BBL interne.

De formation Bac+5 avec une première expérience dans le monde de la data, vous maîtrisez idéalement les technologies suivantes :
Un framework de calcul distribué tel que Spark, Storm, Flink.
Un ou plusieurs langages de programmation (Python, Java, C/C++, Scala...).
Différents systèmes de base de données (SQL et NoSQL) et le langage SQL.
Un framework de streaming de données tel que Kafka, Kinesis, ...
Une expérience sur les technologies Cloud AWS, GCP, Azure, ...
Enfin le delivery et les projets en production faisant parti de notre ADN, vous devrez être capable de livrer du code de qualité dans les environnements agile de nos clients.

Your mission will be to contribute to both the DevOps and feature development lifecycle in order to enhance the reliability, scalability, and quality of our user management services. Your mission will be to design, build, and optimize highly available and secure backend services in order to strengthen Scaleway’s cloud reliability, security, and performance at scale. You will be part of a team of 4 people composed of an Engineering Manager, three Software Engineers (Tech Lead included), and a Product Manager working closely together on critical products for the Scaleway ecosystem. The team is responsible for the internal API Gateway and IAM services, two high-impact platforms requiring strong expertise in distributed systems, scalability, and security. The API Gateway currently handles more than 15,000 requests per second, while IAM authenticates over 7,000 requests per second, making reliability, performance, and low latency critical challenges for the team. Your mission will be to drive critical architecture projects, design new service classes, and implement new technical features for our Object Storage product in order to ensure maximum platform reliability, support new regional expansions, and handle massive workloads constraints (100+ Petabytes). As part of the specialized Object Storage team, you are the technical owner of Scaleway's S3-compatible platform. You will work closely with the Beekeeper team (developing the underlying SDS backend) and the SRE Storage team (handling live infrastructure operations), managing a massivescale deployment across over 1,000 servers. Manager information: Iannis Formet YOUR DAILY ROUTINE : Tasks : - Lead and execute major high-impact projects, such as opening new regions/Availability Zones and designing new service classes. - Integrate and deploy new functionalities for our homegrown, S3-compatible Object Storage platform. - Actively bridge the gap between low-level system administration and high-quality Devops management. - Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve highly complex, distributed system anomalies and infrastructure incidents. - Collect and prioritize customer feedback alongside requests from internal operations groups (like the SRS/SRE team). - Escalate software bugs and request fundamental product evolutions from the backend SDS core engineering team (Beekeeper). - Participate in level-2 rotating on-call support duties to guarantee product continuity and strict SLA compliance. - Support hardware-related infrastructure mutations and plan field interventions in close collaboration with Data Center squads. - Conduct constructive peer code reviews to enforce strict technical standards and overall software quality. - Maintain technical product documentation and produce clear onboarding guides for incoming teammates.
