As a Senior Program Manager within
GitLab's Enterprise Technology organization, you will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, cross-functional
technology programs that advance our enterprise IT strategy. You'll serve as a trusted advisor and program execution partner to IT
leadership, translating strategic objectives into structured roadmaps and measurable outcomes. This is a highly visible role that
requires both technical fluency and business acumen, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, align diverse stakeholders, and drive
decisions across teams.
You will operate at the intersection of IT, Finance, Legal, Product, and Business operations,
bringing structure and clarity to programs that span multiple domains and functions. Whether standing up new capabilities,
improving governance practices, or scaling operational processes, you will be the connective tissue that keeps programs moving,
risks surfaced, and stakeholders informed.
What you'll do
management for large-scale or high-complexity Enterprise Technology & AI initiatives, including scope definition, roadmap
development, resource planning, and delivery tracking
reporting status and risk to Enterprise Technology & AI leadership on a regular cadence, and escalating issues with
recommended paths forward
problems, desired outcomes, and solution trade-offs
resolving dependencies, and maintaining momentum across distributed teams
governance frameworks, intake processes, and ways of working across the CIO org
requirements into clear, actionable work plans accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences
and interdependencies across the portfolio, proactively mitigating blockers before they impact delivery
values and remote work best practices, contributing to a high-trust, async-first team culture
What you'll
bring

structured approaches to ambiguous problems

at both a strategic level and in the details, switching between executive communication and hands-on program execution as
