At Trustpilot, we're on an incredible journey. We're a profitable, high-growth FTSE-250 company with a big vision: to become the universal symbol of trust. We run the world's largest open customer review platform, and while we've come a long way, there's still so much exciting work to do. Come join us at the heart of trust! As our AI and Technical Learning Manager, you are the architect of Trustpilot’s AI-first culture. Your primary mission is to build the confidence, curiosity, and capability our people need to work with AI in meaningful and practical ways. You will design the strategy that embeds AI into how Trusties think and work, shifting our culture from one that talks about AI to one that uses it every day. Alongside this, you will ensure our people have the technical skills they need to do their jobs brilliantly, whether that is through Tech Academies, apprenticeship-funded programmes, or bespoke functional upskilling in our Technology teams. Your success is measured by your ability to move the dial on technical proficiency, AI confidence, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. What you'll be doing: * Drive AI adoption across Trustpilot. This is the core of your role. You will design and run the initiatives, campaigns, and learning experiences that shift how Trusties think about and use AI in their day-to-day work. The goal is practical, confident, widespread adoption. * Build an AI learning strategy that goes beyond awareness. You will create a structured approach to AI capability building that moves people from curiosity to fluency. That means understanding where Trusties are starting from, what good looks like, and how to get them there quickly and confidently. * Consult with functional leaders on AI use cases. You will work alongside leaders across the business to identify where AI and new tools can genuinely change how their teams work. You will then design the learning and change support to make those shifts happen. * Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning. You will create the conditions where Trusties feel safe to explore, try things out, and build their own efficiencies with technology. This is about mindset as much as skills. * Design and oversee technical skills programmes. Supporting the AI agenda, you will also ensure Trusties have access to strong technical skills development, including through Tech Academies and other structured learning pathways that build deep functional capability in our technology teams. * Make the most of Apprenticeship Levy funding. You will manage and deploy the Apprenticeship Levy strategically, ensuring eligible Trusties can access high-quality, formally accredited training in AI, technology, and data. * Measure adoption, confidence, and impact. You will define the metrics that matter, track them consistently, and give leadership a clear picture of how AI capability is developing across the business. Data will inform every iteration of your strategy. * Keep Trustpilot at the leading edge. You will benchmark our AI and technical learning maturity against industry standards, bring in emerging best practices, and make sure our strategy evolves as the landscape does. Who you are: * Passionate about AI and how it changes the way people work. You have hands-on experience driving AI adoption and digital transformation. You understand the technology, but more importantly, you understand people and how to bring them on the journey. * A strategic architect, not just a programme manager. You build systems and frameworks that create lasting change. You have a track record of designing and deploying learning and adoption strategies that result in real, measurable shifts in how people work. * Technically fluent. You are deeply comfortable in the current AI landscape, including Generative AI and LLMs. You can hold a credible conversation with Product and Tech leaders and translate complex concepts into accessible learning. * A skilled change manager. You understand that learning alone does not change behaviour. You know how to address resistance, build confidence, and design adoption journeys that account for the human side of change. * Experienced in technical capability building. You have designed and delivered technical skills programmes, including managing Tech Academy-style frameworks, and you know how to build functional capability at scale. * Savvy with Apprenticeship Levy funding. You understand how to use Levy funding strategically to accelerate skills development in technology and AI, and you can navigate the requirements to maximise its value. * A confident stakeholder consultant. You can influence senior leaders, earn their trust quickly, and position AI and technical learning as a genuine business priority rather than a nice-to-have. * Data-driven in how you work. You track adoption, expertise, and ROI. You use evidence to make decisions, tell the story of impact clearly, and continuously improve what you build. What's in it for you: * A range of flexible working options to dedicate time to what matters to you * Competitive compensation package + bonus * 25 days holiday per year, increasing to 28 days after 2 years of employment * Two (paid) volunteering days a year to spend your time giving back to the causes that matter to you and your community * Rich learning and development opportunities are supported through the Trustpilot Academy and Blinkist * Pension and life insurance * Health cash plan, online GP, 24/7, Employee Assistance Plan * Full access to Headspace, a popular mindfulness app to promote positive mental health * Paid parental leave * Season ticket loan and a cycle-to-work scheme * Central office location complete with table tennis, a gaming corner, coffee bars and all the snacks and refreshments you can ask for * Regular opportunities to connect and get to know your fellow Trusties, including company-wide celebrations and events, ERG activities, and team socials. * Access to over 4,000 deals and discounts on things like travel, electronics, fashion, fitness, cinema discounts, and more. * Independent financial advice and free standard professional mortgage broker advice * Talent acceleration programs: Fast-track your career with our tailored development programs designed to support growth at whatever stage of your career Still not sure? We want to be a part of creating a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world of work for all. We’re excited to hear about your experiences along with how you will contribute to our working culture. Even if you don’t feel you meet all the requirements, we'd still really like to hear from you! #LI-Hybrid #LI-RS1 About us Trustpilot began in 2007 with a simple yet powerful idea that is more relevant today than ever — to be the universal symbol of trust, bringing consumers and businesses together through reviews. We’re not about selling products - we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo ❤️ ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 📍London/Cardiff/UK Remote | 💰£113,200 - £145,200 + equity + Incentive Awards tied to your performance + Benefits ✨ Our Operations Machine Learning team ⭐ We’re building the machine learning and optimisation systems that help Monzo provide fast, efficient and resilient customer support at scale. You’ll lead Machine Learning for our Workforce Management vertical: the organisation that makes sure Monzo has the right human support supply to meet customer demand. The team works on demand forecasting, real-time supply <> demand matching, problem routing and escalation, and predictive models that help us understand how long work will take, what might become late, and where the next best human support should be assigned. This is a great role for someone who is still close to technical work. You might be a Tech Lead, Team Lead, Senior Machine Learning Scientist or Senior Machine Learning Engineer who has recently been building models and systems yourself, and is excited to grow into a broader leadership role. Not everything here is about LLMs. You’ll work on rigorous ML, forecasting, optimisation and operations research problems where quantitative thinking, pragmatic delivery and strong product judgement really matter. You’ll lead a growing team of Machine Learning Scientists, embedded in product squads working alongside data scientists, backend, mobile and web engineers, product managers, user researchers, designers and operations specialists. 🔑You’ll play a key role by… * Shaping the ML strategy for Workforce Management, helping us decide where ML, forecasting and optimisation can have the biggest impact for customers and human agents. * Leading the design, build and delivery of production ML systems across forecasting, routing, assignment, escalation and time-to-completion prediction. * Staying close to the technical details: helping the team frame problems well, choose the right modelling approach, define robust validation, review trade-offs and ship safely. * Working with Product, Engineering, Data and Operations leaders to turn ambiguous operational problems into pragmatic, iterative ML systems that improve real customer outcomes. * Coaching and developing Machine Learning Scientists through regular 1:1s, feedback and technical guidance. * Creating healthy ways of working for the team: clear priorities, strong technical standards, good documentation, sensible monitoring, and space for people to do their best work. * Contributing to the wider Machine Learning discipline at Monzo, helping us scale how we build, ship and operate ML systems in production. 🤩 We’d love to hear from you if… * You’ve recently worked as a hands-on Machine Learning practitioner, for example as a Senior IC, Tech Lead, Team Lead or ML manager. * You have strong foundations in ML, statistics, forecasting, optimisation or operations research, and enjoy applying them to messy real-world problems. * You’ve built, shipped or owned ML systems in production, and understand what it takes to make models useful, reliable, monitored and safe. * You can move between technical detail and business context, explaining complex ML ideas clearly to technical and non-technical people. * Coaching others is something you enjoy and take seriously. You may already have people management experience, but we’re also open to people taking their first formal step into management. * Ambiguous problem spaces energise you. The right answer might involve a model, an algorithm, a product change, an operational process, or a combination of all four. * Customer outcomes matter to you, and you want to build systems that help people get answers to their problems quickly and efficiently. * You’re adaptable, curious and excited by quantitative problems. Not ticking every box? That’s totally okay! Studies show that women and people of colour might hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. At Monzo, we’re dedicated to creating a diverse and welcoming team. If you’re passionate about this role and keen to learn and grow with us, we encourage you to apply— even if you don’t have everything that's listed just yet. Drop us your application, we’d love to hear from you! 🙌 What’s in it for you 💰 £113,200 - £145,200 ➕Incentive Awards tied to your performance. ✈️ We’ll help you relocate to the UK. ✅ We can sponsor your visa. 📍This role can be based in our London office, but we're open to distributed working within the UK (with ad hoc meetings in London) ⏰ We offer flexible working hours and trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, and at times that suit you and your team. 📚 £1,000 learning budget each year to use on books, training courses and conferences. 🏡 We will set you up to work from home; all employees are given Macbooks and for fully remote workers we will provide extra support for your work-from-home setup. ➕ Plus lots more! Read our full list of benefits. 🌈 The application journey has 3 key steps * Recruiter Call * Initial Call * Full Loop: ML Modelling Skills Interview, Product & ML interview, Project Deep Dive Interview, Leadership interview This process should take around 3-4 weeks - your schedule is really important to us, so we promise to be as flexible as possible! We have some guidelines on using Artificial Intelligence (AI) to ace an application and interview at Monzo. You can read them here. #LI-REMOTE ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Equal opportunities for everyone Diversity and inclusion are a priority for us and we’re making sure we have lots of support for all of our people to grow at Monzo.
