Are you looking for an active job where you play an important role in keeping a busy kitchen running smoothly? We are looking for full time temporary Dishwashers to join an international airline catering operation at Gardermoen. You will become part of a diverse team where hygiene, teamwork and efficiency are essential to daily operations.
About the position
As a Dishwasher, you will be responsible for ensuring that all kitchen equipment, tableware and utensils are cleaned, sanitised and ready for use. Your work is essential to maintaining a safe and efficient kitchen environment that supports the production of meals for airline departures.
You will work in a fast paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are important. Training will be provided, but you should be comfortable with physically active work and following established routines.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Washing dishes, cutlery, pots, pans and kitchen equipment using industrial dishwashing machines and manual cleaning when required
- Drying, sorting and returning clean equipment to the correct kitchen areas
- Keeping the dishwashing area clean, organised and safe throughout the shift
- Following food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with simple kitchen tasks and waste handling when needed
Who are we looking for?
Required qualifications
- Clean criminal record and ability to pass an airport background check and security clearance
- Good communication skills in English
- Availability to work shifts
You must be at least 20 years old.
You must have lived in the EU/EEA for the past five years and be able to provide documentation confirming this.
It is an advantage if you have
- Previous experience as a dishwasher, cleaner or kitchen assistant
- Experience working in commercial kitchens, catering or food production
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene procedures
