About Odin Odin is building the investment infrastructure for the future of private markets. We believe capital is one of the most powerful tools for shaping the world - and more people should be putting it to work. Our mission is to make it radically easier to raise and deploy capital, so that anyone, anywhere, can back the companies and ideas they believe in. Our first product is a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms - think Shopify for VC and PE. We handle all the infrastructure: from legals and investor onboarding to KYC/AML, payments, tax, reporting, and exits. We’re already trusted by over 10,000 angels, VCs, and founders. We administer over $500m in assets, covering investments from pre-seed to series E. This includes household names like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, SpaceX, xAI, Anduril, etc. but also new companies creating everything from synthetic brains to small nuclear reactors. Why We’re Hiring Customer Experience at Odin isn’t a support function. It’s how we win. Our customers come to us at the highest-stakes moments of their professional lives. They’re closing deals, calling capital, moving real money, and dealing with real regulators. When something breaks or feels uncertain, you are the person they turn to. You are the face of Odin in those moments. Your job is not to close tickets. Your job is to make sure customers love Odin so much they tell other people about us, and to build the systems, content, automation and feedback loops that make every future customer’s experience better than the last. If you’ve worked in customer support or investor relations and felt the function could be 10x sharper, more proactive, more product-shaping and less reactive, this role will resonate. Responsibilities * Own the end-to-end experience for our customers (angels, VCs, GPs, LPs and founders) across the full deal lifecycle: pre-close, closing, post-close and ongoing reporting. * Be the primary respondent on inbound questions across support and legal/compliance tickets, with the authority and judgement to move deals forward and resolve hard cases without escalation. * Triage with judgement: spot what’s urgent, what’s risky (money or compliance), what can be self-served and what genuinely needs Product, Ops or Compliance, and route accordingly. * Reduce ticket volume by going to the root cause. Identify the patterns, ship the fixes (help centre, macros, UX copy, forms, automations) and feed back to Product and Ops with clarity and conviction. The goal is fewer tickets next quarter than this one. * Support building the AI-first toolkit alongside the rest of the team. Experiment with AI workflows, knowledge management, automation and instrumentation that let a small team handle 10x volume. * Be the internal voice of the customer. When something keeps coming up, you don’t just log it, you advocate for it until it’s fixed, and then you go back to the customer and close the loop. * Set the tone and standards for how Odin shows up to customers. Document what good looks like. Help the team raise the bar. Who You Are * You take real pride in customer-facing work. You see it as a craft, not a stepping stone, and you’re allergic to “computer says no” responses. * You have at least 5 years of experience in customer-facing operational roles. Direct experience in finance, fintech, fund administration, investor relations or VC operations is a strong plus, because our customers and the questions they ask require domain credibility. * You’re calm and clear under pressure. When customers are stressed and money is on the line, you meet them where they are: confident, peer-level, no apology theatre, no fluff. * When something is painful or repetitive, your instinct is to fix the root cause, not to power through it. * You’re tool-first and AI-fluent. You don’t just talk about AI, you’ve built things with it (a chatbot, a Lovable page, an automation, a workflow, anything). You learn new tools fast and you’re allergic to manual work. * You have high conviction. You’ll push back, you’ll challenge, and you’ll back down when you’re wrong. You’d rather be useful than be liked. * You’re a high-ownership, low-ego team player. You leave ego at the door, you default to “we”, and you raise the bar through how you show up day-to-day. * You can write really well. Tone matters. Our customers are sophisticated, busy and pay close attention. * You want a startup, not a corporate. You can articulate why: high ownership, fast-moving, ambiguous, real impact, real growth, no waiting for permission. Benefits * Health: Private health insurance (Vitality), paid sick leave including support for pregnancy loss and fertility treatments, and access to Spill for mental health support * Wellness: £1,000 annual budget for health, therapy or fitness * Parental Leave: Enhanced maternity, adoption, paternity and partner leave * Pension: 4% employer contribution with salary sacrifice options * Time Off: 25 days annual leave, 2 wellness days and flexible bank holidays (33 days total) * Work From Anywhere: Up to 6 weeks per year working from anywhere globally * Birthday Leave: An additional day of leave
📈 Who We Are: We are rebuilding the energy transaction, making it transparent and fair. Our goal is to put power back where it belongs, in the hands of customers and to take on one of the most critical problems of our century, access to low cost electricity. tem exists to fix a broken global energy market that’s long favoured legacy operators, intermediaries, and opaque pricing. Today’s electricity system was not designed for rapid decarbonisation, AI-driven efficiency or fair access for the actual users - businesses and generators. We’ve built the first AI native transaction infrastructure to reinvent how electricity is bought, sold and priced. Our technology is designed to cut out the inefficient fees, automate complex market flows, and bring transparency and fairness to energy transactions at scale. In late 2025, after extraordinary growth, we closed a $75 million Series B - led by Lightspeed Venture Partners with participation from Albion, Atomico, Allianz, Hitachi Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Schroders Capital and others - positioning us for global expansion, deeper product innovation and category leadership. We’re scaling internationally and building toward a future where AI-driven infrastructure is foundational to electricity markets worldwide. Since launch, our modern utility product, known as RED, has already facilitated thousands of business customers and billions in energy transaction value, proving that modern software and AI can transform an industry built on legacy systems. At tem, we’re not just building another energy company, we’re rearchitecting market infrastructure so that transparency, efficiency and sustainability become the default, not the exception. 🏅 The Role We're hiring a Baseload Originator. Your job is to deliver consistent, high-quality generator deals that expand baseload-shaped supply, deepen liquidity and pricing, and strengthen tem's credibility with asset owners and developers. You'll grow our generator base across core tech types (anaerobic digestion, landfill gas, and energy from waste), owning relationships end-to-end to improve deal velocity and reduce friction across commercials and onboarding. You'll act as a trusted commercial counterpart to developers and asset owners, feed structured sell-side insight back into pricing and product, and represent tem credibly in the broader generator ecosystem. 🚀 Responsibilities * Run and close generator deals from first signal to signature, shaping commercials, negotiating Heads of Terms, and landing contracts at pace. * Grow tem’s presence with developers, IPPs and aggregators through targeted outreach and disciplined, data-led pipeline management. * Build a diversified portfolio across core tech types, regions, counterparties and tenors to increase liquidity, resilience and pricing depth. * Track asset changes, deal activity and generator preferences; turn insight into clear offers and next actions. * Own commercial diligence and deal hygiene so handoffs are clean, including key asset data, route-to-market inputs, and internal alignment/ * Work with Legal, Ops and Product to remove onboarding friction and ensure clean handoffs to delivery. * Feed structured sell-side signals into pricing, product and strategy to sharpen our proposition and stay ahead of competitors. 🎯 Requirements MUST HAVES * Experience in energy, climate tech or B2B sales in complex, multi-stakeholder deals with renewable generators, developers or asset managers. * Proven ability to source, structure and close new generator deals. * Strong grasp of generator commercial drivers (price, risk, term, route-to-market) with credible value positioning. * Experience with PPAs, flexible products or structured energy deals; able to coordinate with Trading and Legal. * Excellent communicator who collaborates across teams to smooth generator onboarding. DESIRABLE * Proactive, collaborative problem-solver with a bias to action and results. * Comfortable using data tooling and automation to manage pipeline, pricing inputs and outreach at scale. * Passion for sustainability and clean energy. ✅ Success measures * 50+ generator opportunities originated and qualified, with 10–15 contracts signed or near-term closing. * ≥ 1 TWh of generation under management or in late-stage pipeline across one or more asset classes. * Visible, well-documented network of developer and asset-owner relationships with active comms and deal calendars. * Structured feedback that shortens onboarding timelines and sharpens the generator proposition. ✨ Benefits & Perks * Salary aligned to internal benchmarks and reviewed twice a year. * Stock options so everyone has ownership in our mission. * 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Swap public holidays for the ones that matter most to you, and enjoy your birthday off. * Remote first and flexible working, with clear core hours and no internal meetings on Friday afternoons. Home working and wellbeing budgets: * Up to £1,200 or €1,200 per year for your remote setup. * Up to £150 or €150 per month for wellbeing. 🗣️ Interview Process We move fast. Most processes take 2 to 3 weeks from first chat to offer. If you need us to adapt anything, let us know. * Intro call with Talent, 30 minutes. * Hiring Manager interview, 45 minutes. * Skills interview with Commercial and cross-functional leaders, 60 to 90 minutes, including a practical exercise. * Culture Add interview with leadership stakeholders, 45 minutes. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds, experiences, and identities, including those that are traditionally underrepresented in the tech and energy sectors. If you’re excited about this role but not sure you meet every requirement, we’d still love to hear from you. Your unique perspective could be exactly what we’re looking for.
