Compensation for CPT codes can vary based on clinician’s license and state of licensure.  Compensation for CPT codes can vary based on clinician’s license and state of licensure.   * Expand access to care: Provide psychiatric services to individuals who otherwise may not have access to mental healthcare. * Collaborative model: Work hand-in-hand with UpLift’s network of licensed therapists to deliver world-class, evidence-based care. * All-in-one virtual platform: Focus on your patients — UpLift handles credentialing, enrollment, and platform operations. * Work from anywhere: This role is 100% remote, with care delivered via UpLift’s purpose-built telemedicine platform. * Flexible commitment: Part-time, 1099 contract position What You’ll Do * Conduct video consultations and message with patients via telemedicine. * Assess, screen, diagnose, and prescribe medication as clinically appropriate. * Coordinate treatment planning and care delivery with UpLift’s network of therapists. * Provide empathetic, high-quality care and uphold UpLift’s clinical and service standards. * Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift’s engineering and operations teams to help improve care delivery. Who We’re Looking For * At least one year of experience as a certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). * Active medical license in good standing. * Comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law. * Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver virtual care. * Previous telemedicine experience is a plus. * Multiple state licenses and fluency in additional languages are strong advantages. Important to Know * This is a part-time, contract (1099) position — not a salaried employee role. * UpLift will credential and enroll you with multiple health plans to expand access to insured patients. * All care is delivered remotely through UpLift’s telehealth platform. * All clinical decisions are made independently by licensed providers in accordance with state telehealth laws and professional standards. What You’ll Do * Conduct video consultations and communicate with patients via telemedicine. * Assess, diagnose, and treat patients, including prescribing medication when clinically appropriate. * Provide supervision and oversight to Nurse Practitioners (NPs) in states requiring collaborative agreements. * Complete required chart reviews and provide timely consultation support to NPs. * Maintain responsiveness for collaboration duties in accordance with state requirements and UpLift standards. * Coordinate care with UpLift’s network of therapists and other providers to ensure high-quality outcomes. * Provide empathetic, evidence-based care while upholding UpLift’s clinical and service standards. * Share product and workflow feedback with UpLift’s engineering and operations teams to help improve care delivery. Who We’re Looking For * Board-certified Psychiatrist with active clinical experience. * Active and unrestricted medical license(s) in one or more of the following priority states: Virginia, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina. * Multi-state licensure strongly preferred. * Experience supervising or collaborating with Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (e.g. NPs) is preferred. * Comfortable prescribing medication when clinically appropriate and permitted by state law. * Skilled at using online tools and technology to deliver virtual care. * Strong communication skills and ability to provide timely consultation support. * Previous telemedicine experience is a plus. Important to Know * This is a part-time, contract (1099) position — not a salaried employee role. * Physicians may set their own schedules for patient care; however, collaboration responsibilities require ongoing responsiveness. * Physicians may stop seeing patients at any time, but collaborative agreement responsibilities require a 120-day wind-down period to ensure continuity of care. * Compensation structure varies by state depending on collaboration requirements (capped vs. uncapped states). * UpLift will credential and enroll you with multiple health plans to expand access to insured patients. * All care is delivered remotely through UpLift’s telehealth platform. * All clinical decisions are made independently by licensed providers in accordance with state telehealth laws and professional standards. ROLE BRIEF: The Psychiatrist provides specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnostic clarification,  medication review, and clinical consultation within Spectrum.Life’s end-to-end mental health stepped-care service. The role supports Step-5 escalation and medical oversight, ensuring members  with complex, severe, or diagnostically uncertain presentations receive timely, safe, and evidence-based care.
