Working at Omnisend is... kind of boring.
Not the soul-crushing kind of boring — more like the “no drama, no chaos, just smart people doing great work” kind. The kind that lets you focus on what matters, without pointless meetings, micromanagement, or bureaucracy. We’re data-driven. We test, we iterate, we improve. Gut feelings don’t drive decisions — insights do. We trust each other. We’re transparent, give real feedback, and actually listen. No egos, no hand-holding — just a team of experienced professionals moving fast, adapting easily, and delivering impact. Omnisend is customer-funded and customer-driven. Our work is rooted in solving real problems that help ecommerce brands grow. No empty promises — we bring in results. And yes, we have fun. But the grown-up kind — workations, team gatherings, the occasional party. No forced fun, no awkward icebreakers. Just genuine moments with a team that actually enjoys working together.
About us Satispay began by rethinking the simple act of a payment to remove the friction from our daily routines. But we didn’t stop there. Today, we are building a complete financial platform designed to empower people and concretely improve their lives. By giving our 6 million users a clear, open path to pay, save, and invest, we are evolving into the definitive destination for every financial need. What you'll be doing As our Talent Acquisition Partner, you'll play a key role in building Satispay's most complex and critical functions — Governance, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and HR — as well as owning executive-level hiring. You won't just fill vacancies: you'll think ahead, map markets, and bring in talent that is genuinely hard to find. Here's what your day-to-day will look like: * Own end-to-end recruiting for complex roles – design and execute hiring strategies for Governance, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and HR roles, including apical roles, fully autonomously. * Master passive candidate sourcing – identify and engage hard-to-find talent across multiple channels; build relationships with candidates before roles open, not just when you have a live vacancy. * Lead offer management – own the full offer process — from strategy definition with the hiring manager, through negotiation, to signed offer — managing compensation discussions and competing offer situations confidently. * Drive Hiring Manager partnerships – proactively own the relationship with each hiring manager; keep them informed on pipeline status and recruiting strategy through data, not just updates. * Champion candidate experience – use pipeline data and candidate feedback to identify gaps and propose concrete improvements to the candidate journey. * Manage external partners – build and maintain a network of executive search firms, specialist agencies, and external recruiters; know when to activate them and how to get the best out of the collaboration. * Contribute to team strategy and projects – participate in cross-functional projects inside and outside the TA team; take ownership of smaller team initiatives and contribute meaningfully to larger ones. * Represent Satispay externally – act as a Satispay ambassador at external events, conferences, and in the talent market — independently and with confidence. Who we're looking for We need a problem-solver who loves teamwork and gets things done. If you're curious and ready for real ownership, you'll fit in! Does this sound like you? * 3–7 years of full-cycle recruiting experience – in-house or agency, with a track record of closing complex, niche, or senior roles. * Proven experience in Corporate functions hiring – direct exposure to recruiting for Legal, Compliance, Governance, Financial Crime, Finance or HR — you understand these talent markets and know what good looks like. * Executive hiring experience – has placed or actively managed Director-level or above searches; comfortable navigating the dynamics of C-suite stakeholders on both the candidate and hiring manager side. * Regulated or FinTech market knowledge – understands the talent landscape for compliance, anti-money laundering (AML), know-your-customer (KYC), or financial regulation roles; or demonstrated ability to map niche markets quickly. * Passive candidate sourcing mastery – goes beyond LinkedIn Recruiter — knows how to build pipelines of candidates who are not actively looking, through multiple channels and long-term relationship building. * Offer management and negotiation – has independently managed compensation discussions, counter-offer situations, and complex offer negotiations to successful closure. * Stakeholder management at senior level – can manage complex, demanding, and time-sensitive relationships with senior business leaders and executives without losing grip on timelines or quality. * Data-driven recruiting approach – comfortable with compensation benchmarking across markets, funnel analysis, and using data proactively to drive hiring decisions and strategy conversations. * International hiring exposure – familiar with recruiting across Europe — or has worked across multiple markets and understands the differences in employment law, salary expectations, and candidate behaviour. * ATS autonomy and reporting – manages candidates end-to-end independently and pulls funnel reports, time-to-hire, and offer acceptance data without support; Ashby experience is a plus. * Excellent English and Italian – both written and spoken — English is used daily across stakeholders and candidates at an international level. CareAbout: how we support your impact We move fast, and evolution never stops. It’s a fun ride, but it can be challenging. To make sure our people truly thrive, we’re committed to making their lives easier, both in the office and out in the world. Salary: €33,000.00 - €42,000.00 gross per annum This range is set using objective, gender-neutral criteria for the role's core requirements. However, we do not believe in putting a ceiling on talent. The final compensation package is tailored according to your unique experience and expertise. At Pinterest, AI isn't just a feature, it's a powerful partner that augments our creativity and amplifies our impact, and we’re looking for candidates who are excited to be a part of that. To get a complete picture of your experience and abilities, we’ll explore your foundational skills and how you collaborate with AI. Through our interview process, what matters most is that you can always explain your approach, showing us not just what you know, but how you think. You can read more about our AI interview philosophy and how we use AI in our recruiting process here. Why Pinterest, Why Now Pinterest is making a serious bet on performance advertising and delivering on that bet requires ads infrastructure operating at a fundamentally different scale than where it is today. The Platforms TPM team partners with engineering leadership across Ads Infrastructure, Core Foundations, Quality Engineering, and Client Platforms to turn platform strategy into clear, executable programs that ship. This role exists because Pinterest's Ads & Core Infrastructure portfolio: Shopping index scale-out, next-gen indexing pipelines, catalog unification, and API modernization needs a TPM Leader who has done this before. Someone who can walk in, size up a complex portfolio, build the execution system it needs, and drive delivery with the kind of discipline that makes engineering leaders trust you with their hardest problems. If you've built your career in ads infrastructure or platform-scale data systems and you're ready to own the operating model rather than inherit one, this is that role. What you’ll do: * Own end-to-end TPM execution for Pinterest's Ads & Core Infrastructure portfolio: the primary focus of this role including Shopping index scale-out (300M → 1B+ items), next-generation indexing pipelines, catalog and ingestion unification, API modernization, and core infrastructure reliability programs. * Build the execution operating model for this portfolio from the ground up: milestones, RAID discipline, decision forums, escalation paths, and accountability structures that give engineering teams the clarity to move faster. * Partner with engineering leaders across Ads Infrastructure and Core Foundations to define program outcomes, sequence workstreams, manage cross-team dependencies, and drive delivery against multi-quarter goals. * Manage and develop a small team of TPMs across Ads & Core Infra, Quality Engineering, and Client Foundations: setting direction, coaching on execution craft, and creating leverage while staying hands-on with the highest-complexity programs yourself. * Provide senior leadership coverage and strategic judgment for Quality Engineering and Client Foundations programs, where experienced TPMs are already executing day-to-day. * Build and run integrated operating cadences across the portfolio: roadmap planning, milestone reviews, dependency tracking, status reporting, and escalation paths to Platforms and EPD leadership. * Use GenAI as the default operating model for program execution: AI-assisted program artifacts, status synthesis, risk and dependency tracking, and stakeholder communications and prototype lightweight dashboards or workflow tools using AI coding assistants to reduce toil across the portfolio. * Surface risks, tradeoffs, and escalation paths proactively to senior engineering and EPD leadership: before they become incidents. * Apply Pinterest's AI governance and safety-by-design standards: handle sensitive data appropriately, validate AI-generated outputs, and ensure AI-assisted workflows meet applicable policy and compliance expectations. What we’re looking for: * Ads infrastructure experience, for real. You've worked inside an ads platform, indexing, serving, pipeline architecture, catalog systems, or API infrastructure at a company operating at scale. You know what scaling a product index to 1B+ items actually requires. You can have a technical conversation with a principal engineer about tradeoffs without needing a translator. * You've built execution systems where they didn't exist. You've come into a portfolio or team where the operating model was missing or broken, diagnosed it quickly, and built the structure that let teams move with confidence. You know how to establish the minimum viable execution system and iterate, you don't wait for perfect information to start. * Technical depth with cross-domain range. Your core is ads infrastructure or platform-scale data systems, but you ramp quickly into adjacent technical domains such as APIs, client platforms, reliability infrastructure and become credible there. Strong engineers trust your judgment even outside your primary background. * Senior stakeholder management. You communicate at VP level without preparation time. You frame tradeoffs, drive alignment, and surface risks in the same conversation. You're proactive, not reactive, and engineering leaders seek you out rather than tolerate you. * Execution discipline others can feel. When you're running a program, people know it. Milestones are real. Risks surface before they become incidents. You create a forcing function that makes teams better at delivery just by being in the room. * People leadership without losing hands-on credibility. You've managed TPMs and made them better set direction, coached on craft, created leverage without losing the ability to be the most rigorous person in the room on your highest-stakes programs. * AI-first operating instincts. You default to AI-assisted drafts, prompts, and lightweight tooling to accelerate your own work and reduce team toil. You apply strong judgment to validate outputs and know when AI use needs additional controls. * Experience translating strategy into executable multi-quarter roadmaps with clear milestones, dependencies, and measurable outcomes across multi-team portfolios. * Bachelors in a technical discipline, or equivalent experience (10+ years in a technical, program or analytical role) * 5+ years experience in a technology people management role (engineering manager, product manager, program manager or technical consulting engagement manager) Relocation Statement: * This position is not eligible for relocation assistance. Visit our PinFlex page to learn more about our working model. In-Office Requirement Statement: * We recognize that the ideal environment for work is situational and may differ across departments. What this looks like day-to-day can vary based on the needs of each organization or role. * This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country. #LI-REMOTE #LI-JD3 At Pinterest we believe the workplace should be equitable, inclusive, and inspiring for every employee. Senior Backend Software Engineer - Consumer Growth About us Satispay began by rethinking the simple act of a payment to remove the friction from our daily routines. But we didn’t stop there. Today, we are building a complete financial platform designed to empower people and concretely improve their lives. By giving our 6 million users a clear, open path to pay, save, and invest, we are evolving into the definitive destination for every financial need. You'll be joining the Consumer Growth team. We own the systems that power the end-to-end consumer experience on Satispay - from the moment someone signs up to the day they leave. Our mandate is growth: maximising the number of consumers joining the platform and driving engagement through a continuously enhanced, user-friendly experience. We aim to keep customer satisfaction high by ensuring users can find answers to their questions quickly and effortlessly. What you’ll be doing As a Senior Backend Software Engineer in the Consumer Growth Team, you’ll play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of the team. This is an individual contributor (IC) role - you'll lead through technical excellence and influence, not through direct reports or people management. You will be responsible for the technical quality and delivery of complex systems, collaborating closely with other teams. Here’s what your day-to-day will look like: * Build and ship. You will design, implement, and operate services that power the Satispay consumer experience - from payment flows and identity verification to loyalty and engagement features. You'll work across the full lifecycle: from API design and data modelling to production rollouts and on-call ownership. * Cross-team technical leadership. You will drive technical analysis for projects that cut across multiple teams, lead design discussions, and produce documentation that gives stakeholders and other teams a clear, reviewable picture of every design before build begins. * Foster engineering excellence. You will raise the quality bar across mobile and backend development: rigorous testing strategies, safe progressive rollouts, and proactive elimination of technical debt in a codebase that ships 2M+ daily payments. You'll champion simplicity and maintainability in services that other pods depend on. * Mentor and develop. You will provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level engineers in the Consumer Growth teams, helping them navigate cross-service dependencies, adopt sound event-driven patterns, and build a shared instinct for operational excellence. Expect challenges, collaboration, and the freedom to bring your ideas to life. Our tech stack includes (but it’s not limited to) PostgreSQL, Java, Spring Boot. We rely on AWS for our infrastructure, with microservices deployed on EC2/ECS, S3 for storage, AWS Lambda for serverless functions, and Kinesis and ElasticSearch for log streaming. You'll take ownership of your work from start to finish. Who we’re looking for We need a proven problem-solver who takes initiative, excels in cross-team collaboration, and is a technical quality champion. Does it sound like you? * Extensive experience: You have at least 5 years of related experience in back-end software engineering. You have a proven track record of working with microservices and cloud environments (AWS is a plus) in high-paced, mission-critical contexts. * Technical depth: You possess deep experience with Java and Spring Boot. You have a strong understanding of distributed systems and how to manage external dependencies (like banking protocols) effectively. * AI focus: You’re passionate about or have hands-on experience building GenAI-driven features, such as backend services using LLMs, orchestration frameworks like LangGraph, or AWS cloud services like Amazon Bedrock * Structured communication: You are able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and convincingly. You excel at coordinating implementations with other teams and building trust with various stakeholders. * Impact mindset: You are focused on delivering software that meets evolving user needs. You are adaptable, avoid analysis paralysis, and "go the extra mile" to optimize systems beyond the initial requirements. * Passion and language skills: You are passionate about FinTech and fluent in English. Don't worry if you don't tick every box. We believe in the power of different viewpoints and strengths. Your unique perspective is important as we build something special. If you're passionate and can make a difference, we truly encourage you to apply. CareAbout: how we support your impact We move fast, and evolution never stops.
