ARBETSUPPGIFTER Vi söker dig som vill bli en del av vår kuratorsgrupp på vår Socialmedicinska mottagning i Stenungsund, nu när en av våra kollegor lämnar oss för annan anställning. Arbetet som kurator på socialmedicinsk mottagning syftar till att uppnå förändring riktat mot vuxna personer med beroendeproblematik och vid behov anhöriga som behöver stöd. Verksamheten möter även våldsutövare och våldsutsatt i våld i nära relationer som ansöker om behandling. Som kurator arbetar du med behandlande samtal enskilt eller i grupp. Samtalen bygger på evidensbaserade metoder som ÅP, CRA, MI, KBT, och HAP. Du arbetar i team med mottagningens sjuksköterska, dina kuratorskollegor och vuxenenhetens socialsekreterare. Du arbetar även med personer som inte behöver eller vill ha sjukvårdskontakt utan remitteras från socialsekreterare endast för samtalsbehandling. Det långsiktiga målet är att stärka varje persons möjligheter att leva ett självständigt liv och bättre klara av att hantera sin beroendeproblematik. Utifrån den nya Socialtjänstlagen kommer du också att träffa personer som söker sig direkt till mottagningen utan att ha en socialtjänstkontakt. Vårt arbete präglas av tilltro till att personers förmåga och mål kan utvecklas och uppnås med rätt stöd vid rätt tillfälle. Utöver det stöd du och teamet erbjuder kan personer även ha rehabiliterande sysselsättning, olika sociala boendeformer, boendestöd. I din roll ingår att vid behov ha en god och nära samverkan med andra huvudmän genom att delta i SIP eller på annat sätt samverka för bästa möjliga stöd till varje person utifrån dennes behov och önskemål. Du kommer ingå i en engagerad arbetsgrupp består av fyra kuratorer och en sjuksköterska som alla har stor erfarenhet och kompetens av arbete med beroendeproblematik. En 1:e socialsekreterare leder och fördelar arbetet i gruppen och även inom myndighetsutövningen. Arbetsgruppen arbetar kontinuerligt med att utvecklas genom arbete med värdegrund samt kvalitets- och metodutveckling. The Speech and Language Pathology unit of the Health and Rehabilitation department has the major task of being responsible for a four-year undergraduate Speech and Language Pathology programme. The unit also gives courses on the graduate level and engages in research in the subject of Speech and Language Pathology. The unit consists of about fifteen lecturers and researchers and six doctoral students. All of these are engaged in instruction in the Speech and Language Pathology programme and may serve as supervisors for projects on the graduate and doctoral level. Teaching and research included in this position are to focus on developmental speech and language disorders, and thereby supplement and reinforce existing resources at the Speech and Language Pathology unit. Duties Work-related duties primarily involve responsibility for teaching on the undergraduate and graduate levels in the area of developmental speech and language disorders. This can be in the form of the degree programme for Speech and Language Pathology, as well as in freestanding courses. In addition, duties include serving as a supervisor on the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels in the subject area. The position also includes serving as course coordinator, engaging in course planning, performing administrative tasks and keeping up with developments in the field. The position also involves conducting research in the subject area of the position, as well as seeking research funding from outside sources. Management/leadership responsibilities may be included. Eligibility The eligibility criteria for employing teaching staff are set out in Chapter 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance and in the Appointment Procedure for Teaching Posts at the University of Gothenburg. Eligibility requirements include a doctoral degree, demonstrated pedagogical skills, and a Swedish Speech and Language Pathology licence. The Urban Water Engineering research group has a strong position in research and education on urban water systems, stormwater, small-scale wastewater and sewage systems.   The group consists of about 50 members including senior researchers, Swedish and international adjunct professors and more than 20 doctoral students. The group has an extensive national and international collaboration network.     Subject description   Urban Water Engineering encompasses the entire urban water system (urban drainage, drinking water supply and wastewater) with respect to collection, transport and treatment, as well as organisation and planning. The research aims to encourage a strong economy, clean environment and the wise use of resources, while preserving the public’s health and safety.   Project description   The project Streetwise aims to improve coordination between street works and water/wastewater pipe network renewal in Swedish municipalities. Today, these investments are often planned and financed separately or coordinated based on limited data leading to repeated excavation, higher lifecycle costs, and unnecessary disruption for citizens. Skellefteå municipality is the needs owner and participates through the departments of Water & Wastewater and the Streets, providing a real test bed. Recent research will be the starting point where an existing model will be developed further to optimise the strategic asset management and coordination based on economic, environmental and other societal criteria. You will belong to a research team with researchers from our university as well as external researchers from the research institute RISE which are experts in policy-lab methodology.   The work within the project includes development of an existing Python model and collection of asset management data of municipal infrastructure. Together with other researchers in the team, you will design workshops to be carried out with municipal partners to understand the present routines of coordinating asset management of multiutility infrastructures and be able to develop tools to support their work.   Duties   As a PhD student, you will collect asset management data, develop a Python model and be involved in workshops. You will learn how to collect and analyse scientific data within your research area as well as communicate your results at national and international conferences and in scientific journals. Most of your working time will be devoted to your own research studies, including both research and mandatory and elective course work. In addition, you will also carry out departmental duties, such as teaching and/or assisting in other research projects. You will have two supervisors who support you in your work, as well as cooperate with other researchers in the project team. The research work for this project will specifically include modelling, including life cycle assessment studies and life cycle costs, as well as being part of policy development for the water sector.   Qualifications   We seek a candidate with an MSc degree or equivalent or fully completed course requirements of at least 240 ETCS of which at least 60 ETCS are at an advanced level or equivalent. The degree should be within the field of civil and/or environmental engineering or natural resources engineering, civil engineering, or equivalent. Specific knowledge of urban water system including the pipe network, Python coding and modelling and life cycle assessments, as well as economics and statistics are meritorious. Other important skills are the ability to work independently and take initiative, as well as being able to explore new research areas.   English language skills are required since the results will be presented internationally in scientific journals and at conferences. Swedish/Scandinavian language skills are beneficial, as they will facilitate communication with stakeholders and participation in research and teaching activities.
