Company Introduction Coupang is reimagining the shopping experience with the goal of wowing each customer from the instant they open the Coupang app to the moment an order is delivered to their door. Our services in Taiwan include “Rocket Delivery” which offers next-day delivery for a wide selection of items at affordable prices, “Rocket Oversea” which offers free international delivery on millions of best-selling products from Korea, the U.S., and beyond. We are looking for talents to help us lead Coupang’s expansion in Taiwan. This is an exceptional opportunity to become a part of Coupang’s growth in Taiwan and create a world where our customers wonder, “How did I ever live without Coupang?” Role Overview We are hiring Program Managers for our Instock Management team to optimize product quality and customer experience. In this role, you will establish a verification process for T0 (Direct) and T1 (Authorized) vendors and build a Vendor Scorecard to monitor operational defects (Andon cords). You will partner closely with FC, BM, and CS teams to manage SLAs, reduce the aging of defects, and enforce a rigorous block/unblock mechanism for underperforming vendors. This is an excellent opportunity for data-driven operators who excel at cross-functional execution and continuous inbound supply chain improvement. What You Will Do We are seeking for dynamic, data-driven, and highly strategic Program Managers to join our Instock Managementteam. In this role, you will sit at the critical intersection of inbound supply chain health, product quality, and customer experience. You will own the operational framework for managing and auditing our supply base, specifically classifying them into $T0$ (Direct Vendors) and $T1$ (Non-Direct but Authorized Vendors). A core focus of this role will be designing and scaling a comprehensive Vendor Scorecard to track operational and quality defects (Andon cords). You will also build and enforce the governance mechanism to block non-compliant vendors from our platform and establish clear pathways for them to be unblocked once corrective actions are met. Key Responsibilities 1. Vendor Classification (T0 / T1) & Verification * Setup and manage the operational and verification process for profiling vendors into distinct tiers: * T0: Direct Vendors (1P/Direct brand relationships). * T1: Non-Direct but Authorized Vendors (Distributors/Authorized resellers). * Ensure that both tiers adhere to strict quality, authenticity, and packaging guidelines before their products enter our inbound supply chain. 2. Vendor Scorecarding & Andon Tracking * Design, build, and maintain a centralized Vendor Scorecard to track, aggregate, and analyze the volume and frequency of Andon cords triggered by each vendor. * Use scorecard data to hold vendors accountable, identifying chronic offenders and systemic defect trends (e.g., high damage rates, incorrect labeling, or counterfeit/quality flags). 3. Enforcement Mechanisms (Block / Unblock Process) * Establish a rigorous, fair, and automated governance policy to Block vendors who breach acceptable Andon thresholds, protecting the customer experience from low-quality products. * Design a clear, structured Unblock mechanism, outlining the exact standard operating procedures (SOPs) a vendor must complete—such as Root-Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA)—to regain listing privileges. 4. Inbound Supply Chain & Cross-Functional Resolution * Partner closely with Fulfillment Centers (FC Inbound/Quality teams), Business Management (BM), and Customer Service (CS) to investigate and resolve triggered Andons rapidly. * Manage and optimize the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for Andon resolution, implementing processes to eliminate the aging of open issues and unblock sellable inventory. 5. Continuous Improvement & Prevention * Act as an operational consultant to $T0$ and $T1$ vendors, helping them improve their supply chain and QA processes. * Shift the business from reactive firefighting to proactive prevention, building long-term mechanisms that reduce overall Andon generation at the source. Basic Qualifications * Experience: at least 3–5+ years in Program Management, Instock Management, Supply Chain, Vendor Compliance, or Operations. * Cross-Functional Leadership: Exceptional ability to influence internal stakeholder teams (Fulfillment Center, Buying, Customer Service) and external vendor partners without direct authority. * Analytical Problem-Solving: High data literacy (SQL/Excel/BI tools experience is a plus); ability to turn defect data into actionable scorecard metrics and execute root-cause analysis (5 Whys, Lean/Six Sigma) * Mandarin and English language proficiency required Recruitment Process and Others Recruitment Process * Application Review - Phone Interview - Onsite (or Virtual Onsite) Interview – Offer * The exact nature of the recruitment process may vary according to the specific job and may be changed due to scheduling or other circumstances. * Interview schedules and the results will be informed to the applicant via the e-mail address submitted at the application stage. AN OVERVIEW OF THIS ROLE As a Staff Backend Engineer on GitLab's Events & Messaging Platform team, you'll be a foundational technical leader on a high-visibility infrastructure initiative that sits underneath nearly everything GitLab ships. GitLab runs two separate systems for async work today — Sidekiq for short-lived background jobs and a purpose-built event bus for longer-running workflows. This role consolidates both into a single durable, scalable messaging and event-processing platform that powers GitLab's first-party products and underpins third-party integrations like webhooks and external triggers. You'll bridge architecture and execution — owning the design of a genuinely multi-tenant distributed system, breaking it into work the team can deliver, and solving the hard problems along the way. You'll bring strong instincts around durability, tenant isolation, and horizontal scalability — telling a design that's durable from one that only looks durable under light load — and own reliability end to end. A defining challenge is migrating existing production workloads off the legacy systems without disrupting the traffic they carry. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead technical execution on the CD platform: decompose complex architectural designs into well-scoped, deliverable work and drive the team to ship with quality and confidence. * Solve high-complexity engineering problems and contribute architectural feedback that shapes how the system evolves. * Set and maintain the technical bar across the codebase through code review, mentorship, and example. * Mentor engineers at all levels, helping them grow their technical capabilities and navigate difficult problems. * Represent the CD team in cross-functional engineering discussions and contribute to written technical proposals and architectural documents. * Participate in on-call rotations to help ensure GitLab.com availability targets are met. WHAT YOU'LL BRING * Deep professional experience building backend services in Go, with a track record in high-scale production environments. * Demonstrated expertise in distributed systems design, including durable workflow execution, state persistence, and event-driven architectures. * Extensive experience leading or contributing to release orchestration, deployment automation, or continuous delivery systems at scale. * Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes at production scale, including progressive delivery patterns such as blue/green and canary deployments. * Strong familiarity with GitOps workflows and tools in that ecosystem. * Experience with policy-based governance in software delivery systems. * Proven ability to translate complex architecture into clear, executable engineering work across a team. * Demonstrated ability to incorporate AI tools into daily engineering workflows to drive efficiency and quality. * Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a bias toward async, documentation-first practices. * Self-motivated and self-managing, with strong organizational judgment and a constructive approach to ambiguity. NICE TO HAVE * Experience with AI engineering or building AI-integrated product features. * Ruby on Rails experience. ABOUT THE TEAM The Events & Messaging Platform team is being built out within GitLab's Infrastructure Platforms org to take on one of the most foundational rebuilds on the platform. You'll work closely with the product and integration teams that consume it, shaping your guarantees around what they actually need, in a collaborative, async-first environment where engineers own outcomes. With the platform spanning Self-Managed, Dedicated, and SaaS, you'll reason about reliability across every way GitLab is deployed — a rare chance to define the technical foundation nearly all of GitLab depends on. HOW GITLAB SUPPORTS FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES * Benefits to support your health, finances, and well-being * Flexible Paid Time Off * Team Member Resource Groups * Equity Compensation & Employee Stock Purchase Plan * Growth and Development Fund * Parental Leave Please note that we welcome interest from candidates with varying levels of experience; many successful candidates do not meet every single requirement. Additionally, studies have shown that people from underrepresented groups are less likely to apply to a job unless they meet every single qualification. A career at Roblox means you’ll be working to shape the future of human interaction, solving unique technical challenges at scale, and helping to create safer, more civil shared experiences for everyone. As a member of the Roblox Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) team, you will play a key role in supporting the Security team’s mission. The GRC team is at the heart of Roblox's security organization — empowering every builder to make risk-informed decisions by establishing a portfolio of governing policies and standards, a repeatable and scalable method of assessing and quantifying risk, and a formal oversight process for GRC capabilities across Roblox. Our program takes a balanced, "right-sized" approach to security governance — combining qualitative and quantitative risk management methodologies, including Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR), to assess and prioritize the security risks that matter most to Roblox. GRC partners closely with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and leadership — including providing regular reporting to the Board of Directors and the Audit & Compliance Committee — to ensure that security risk is visible, well-understood, and actioned appropriately. The team is in an exciting phase of growth and innovation. We are using engineering to drive automation across risk management, policy lifecycle management, supply chain risk, AI risk, and controls programs. You will have the opportunity to shape how GRC operates at scale and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing team culture that supports Roblox and the broader security organization. This position is part of the Information Security team. This role will report to the GRC Manager. You will: * Be a key contributor to the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team within the larger Information Security Organization. * Partner with your GRC, Infosec and Engineering colleagues and support the design and implementation of a “risk first” governance function that is “right-sized” for Roblox. * Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness, designing tools and automations along the way to drive security and compliance by design. * Write, revise, and manage our information security policies, standards, and procedures. * Identify and assess information security risks. You will work with Information Security and Engineering colleagues to implement appropriate controls to mitigate identified risks. You will validate control design and effectiveness. You will support ongoing risk monitoring and reporting. * Be a subject matter expert in the GRC space, providing education and guidance to others across the Roblox organization. * Be a part of the Roblox community, living our values and securing the metaverse. You have: * 4+ years of relevant professional experience in Security Governance, Risk and Compliance. * Experience interfacing with software engineers to identify risks, map commitments to controls and develop relevant policies. * Experience assessing adherence to policies and developing mitigation and remediation plans when gaps exist. * Deep understanding of risk assessment, compliance frameworks, creation of policy, and how to educate organizations on these concepts. * Understanding of security concepts and a broad range of security risks and controls. * Experience in tech; however the need to actively code is not required for the role, just the ability to interface with Engineers and quickly establish credibility.
