Ditt team Du kommer att ingå i gruppen Scientific Data inom den tekniska divisionen – ett internationellt team som ansvarar för hela kedjan från datainsamling med toppmoderna detektorsystem till utveckling och support av mjukvaruprojekt för dataanalys och visualisering vid strålrörens experimentstationer. De detektorer som används för datainsamling vid våra strålrör är en central del av MAX IV:s vetenskapliga infrastruktur och kräver specialiserad och dedikerad support. Inom detta område söker vi nu en Detector Software Engineer som ska arbeta med integration, driftsättning och operativt stöd av detektorsystem samt vidareutveckling och underhåll av tillhörande DAQ-mjukvara (Data Acquisition). Den huvudsakliga uppgiften för den framgångsrika kandidaten är att säkerställa optimal drift av kommersiellt tillgängliga detektorer, både positionskänsliga och energiupplösande, med särskilt fokus på megapixelbaserade fotonräknande detektorer och sCMOS-kameror. Arbetet omfattar hantering av höga datahastigheter och stora datavolymer med hjälp av moderna mjukvaruramverk och beräkningsinfrastruktur, integrerade i högpresterande och hållbara tjänster.
