Job summary Context: be part of a team that support the client during their journey to RISE by designing platform strategy, facing system integrator to make sure everything is aligned and on track. Technical competences: SAP RISE Architecture & PCE: Deep understanding of Private Cloud Edition (PCE) architecture, including the SLA/R&R (Roles and Responsibilities) matrix. They must know exactly where xx’s responsibility ends and SAP’s begins. Platform Strategy & Sizing: Expertise in defining BTP (Business Technology Platform) integration, Side-by-Side extensibility, and sizing for Large Enterprise landscapes (HANA scale-out, memory management). OSV & Add-on Governance: Proven ability to manage Optional Software Vendors (OSVs). In RISE, add-ons can break the "Clean Core" or complicate upgrades; this person must know how to vet them technically. Hyperscaler Fluency: Since RISE sits on hyperscaler infrastructure (Azure/AWS/GCP), they need to understand cloud networking (VPC peering, Private Link), security, and storage tiers. Documentation : "SAP-Style" Methodology: Proficiency in creating Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and High-Level Designs (HLD) that align with SAP’s "Enterprise Architecture Framework." Visual Communication (VERY IMPORTANT): Ability to translate complex cloud topology into structured, scannable diagrams for stakeholders. Process Mapping: Experience documenting the technical cutover and upgrade paths where needed within a RISE context. Mindset: Autonomous Drive: The "ground up" nature of our request requires someone who creates their own workstreams rather than waiting for a ticket. Experience: Minimum 10+ years in SAP Architecture with at least 1 full-cycle RISE Migration - Mandatory Technical S/4HANA Cloud (PCE) + BTP (Business Technology Platform). Interpersonal "Strong Opinion, Weakly Held”, able to argue a technical stance but adapt to xx s needs. About the job In this role, you ensure that SAP platforms support business processes according to defined requirements and make full use of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system capabilities. You focus on stability and continuous development of SAP environments across on-premise and cloud-based solutions. Job responsibilities Lead SAP Basis work, including installations, upgrades, patches, kernel updates, system copies, database administration, and OS-level coordination. Design and run SAP BTP services, covering integrations, extensions, connectivity, security, and platform lifecycle decisions. Analyze business and technical requirements and design solutions for identified gaps. Create specifications, test plans, and provide support for incidents and production issues. Act as a senior advisor and mentor, driving continuous improvement across teams. Location and flexibility This position is based in Sandviken or Solna and offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to combine office and remote work. Your profile You bring a strong technical foundation in SAP Basis and enjoy working in enterprise environments. Your background combines deep operational knowledge with a forward-looking mindset. We see that your background includes: Academic background within IT Extensive hands-on experience within SAP Basis SAP RISE landscape maintenance experience Proven capability in managing and maintaining SAP system operations Experience working with hyperscale cloud platforms, including Azure, AWS, and GCP Solid, practical experience working with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Professional working proficiency in English You approach complex challenges with an analytical mindset and remain calm when addressing technical issues.
