Anstalten Rosersberg Anstalten Rosersberg är placerad norr om Stockholm och är en anstalt i säkerhetsklass 2. Utöver anstaltsplatser finns också ett antal häktesplatser. Detta ersätter tidigare sluten ungdomsvård som frihetsberövande påföljd för barn och unga mellan 15-17 år som begår allvarliga brott. Arbetsbeskrivning Som lokalvårdare inom Kriminalvården arbetar du självständigt med att planera och genomföra daglig städning och skötsel av verksamhetens lokaler. Arbetet omfattar städning av kontorslokaler, personalutrymmen, klient utrymmen, skollokaler samt gemensamma ytor och kök. The Division of Materials Science at Luleå University of Technology invites highly motivated candidates interested in conducting research in Engineering Materials, with a focus on the design and structuring of advanced sorbent materials for environmental and gas-cleaning applications. The research subject "Engineering Materials" has ongoing research programs span broad research areas in metallic and ceramic materials (high-temperature intermetallic, space materials, high-strength steels, porous ceramic materials, and materials intended for energy recovery). The division is part of the Department of Engineering Science and Mathematics. The department has several other research topics with activities that border on material technology, such as materials mechanics and machine elements. In the undergraduate program, the main two programs focusing on the international profile of the Division of Materials Science are important for the department, namely the EEIGM master's engineering program and the AMASE master's program. Within these educations, many students perform project work and degree projects in projects related to our research. The research subject of Engineering Materials consists of five senior researchers, two technicians, and nine doctoral students.   SUBJECT DESCRIPTION Engineering materials includes the composition, structure, properties and production of materials, mainly metallic and ceramic materials, as well as aspects of their use.   PROJECT DESCRIPTION The PhD student will focus on the development of structured sorbent systems and additive manufacturing approaches for industrial NOx and SOx capture applications. The work will include formulation of printable sorbent inks and pastes with controlled rheological properties, integration of functional nanoparticles for induction-assisted regeneration, and fabrication of structured adsorbent geometries using advanced manufacturing techniques. The student will investigate how structural design, porosity, and mass-transfer properties influence adsorption performance, pressure drop, thermal management, and cyclic stability under humid process conditions. We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who wants to work closely with our most strategic customers and play a key role in shaping the future of education technology. This role is based out of our Stockholm or Växjö office, with regular collaboration across teams and customers. About the role This is not a traditional developer role. You will act as an extension of our customers’ technical teams, working closely with municipalities and public sector organizations. The role combines deep technical expertise with strong business understanding and offers high autonomy from idea to delivery. You will operate in a flexible environment, partly outside our standard product lifecycle, enabling fast, agile deliveries with immediate impact. Key responsibilities: Take full ownership from discovery phase and requirements analysis through to delivery. Act as an extension of the customer’s technical team, participating in technical forums and meetings Work hands-on with data extraction, cloud integrations, APIs, and modern data platforms Navigate IST’s data landscape, including shared services and product-specific databases Act as the bridge between customers and IST’s product organization Collaborate closely with Product Owners and internal experts to ensure fast, effective delivery Identify scalable patterns and contribute to strengthening IST’s EduCloud and data platform Role qualifications We believe you have the following competence profile to succeed in this role: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience Strong experience in: Data extraction and data integration Cloud environments API integrations Modern data platforms Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems Comfortable working close to customers and owning end-to-end delivery Consulting background is a plus Ability to combine deep technical expertise with business understanding Confident and credible in customer-facing situations Strong communicator, fluent in Swedish and English Experience in the education or public sector is a plus Thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same About IST At IST, the buyer and the end user are often structurally separated. The position As Team Lead for AI Technology & Tools, you will be responsible for leading the technical development within the team and contributing to the integration of MIMER’s AI platform into real-world use cases in industry and research. The role combines technical leadership with hands-on operational work and close dialogue with both internal experts and external partners. You will contribute to the development of MIMER’s cloud-native supercomputing environment and federated EuroHPC services, with a focus on robust and efficient AI workflows. Responsibilities Technical Leadership and AI Platform Drive and develop best practices for training, optimizing, and deploying AI models on HPC and GPU-based systems Provide guidance on performance optimization, scaling, and efficient resource utilization Contribute to architectural and design decisions in cloud-native HPC environments MLOps and AI Workflows Support organizations in building end-to-end AI pipelines — from data management to deployment Provide advice on reproducibility, version control, and sustainable model lifecycle management Contribute to the integration of AI services into existing research and industrial environments Infrastructure and Integration Work with hybrid and federated solutions within EuroHPC Support integration between MIMER’s computing resources and external systems Contribute to the development of a coherent European AI capacity Collaboration and External Engagement Act as a technical counterpart in dialogues with companies and organizations Translate technical capabilities into concrete solutions and use cases Contribute to strengthening the MIMER ecosystem through collaboration and knowledge sharing The person we need  We are looking for someone who has: A PhD or equivalent experience in AI/ML, HPC, or a related technical field Documented experience in large-scale AI training and GPU-accelerated environments Understanding of distributed training frameworks and performance optimization Experience with MLOps and production-oriented AI workflows in research and/or industry Knowledge of cloud-based, on-premises, and hybrid infrastructure Ability to work in interdisciplinary and international environments Ability to communicate technical solutions to different target groups It is particularly meriting if you have: Experience with generative AI models, such as LLMs or speech AI Experience with containerized and cloud-native environments Experience with EuroHPC or federated computing environments Experience working with industrial AI solutions in production or regulated environments, or in mission-critical applications Experience in technical leadership or coordination of development teams Experience in developing solutions for handling data and AI workloads in multi-tenant environments Excellent Swedish languages The workplace MIMER AI Factory is part of a European initiative to strengthen the development of trustworthy and competitive AI in research, industry, and the public sector.
