WHAT YOU’LL DO * Lead the architecture, design, and development of scalable Salesforce solutions supporting post-sales teams, including Customer Success, Support, Renewals, Services, and account management workflows * Translate business requirements into secure, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions aligned with long-term platform strategy * Partner closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to refine requirements and deliver high-quality post-sales solutions * Oversee integrations between Salesforce and other enterprise platforms, ensuring reliable data flow and sound system design across the customer lifecycle * Drive platform optimization across performance, scalability, usability, maintainability, and governance * Establish and enforce engineering standards for coding, testing, documentation, CI/CD, and release management * Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and drive long-term, scalable resolutions * Maintain technical documentation, including architecture decisions, design specifications, and implementation details * Stay current with Salesforce platform capabilities, releases, and best practices, and proactively recommend improvements * Proactively identify process and technical gaps, and help define and drive tech debt reduction initiatives, platform modernization efforts, and engineering efficiency improvements across the Salesforce ecosystem * Leverage AI-powered engineering tools such as Apex Guru, GitHub Copilot, Salesforce Agentforce/Vibes, Claude Code, and similar capabilities to improve development productivity, code quality, design effectiveness, troubleshooting, and documentation, while applying strong judgment around security, privacy, accuracy, and responsible AI usage RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design reviews, code reviews, and engineering best practices * Act as a subject matter expert on Salesforce development, platform capabilities, automation, integrations, and scalable CRM solution design for post-sales business processes * Lead technical design sessions and identify gaps between current-state and future-state solutions * Design and support scalable solutions for customer success, support operations, renewals, customer health, account management, and related post-sales workflows * Evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and engineering practices, and drive proof-of-concepts where appropriate * Mentor engineers across the team and foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous learning, and engineering excellence * Support team growth by coaching, developing talent, and helping build a high-performing engineering organization * Influence business and technical stakeholders through strong communication, sound judgment, and effective problem-solving * Operate effectively in a fast-changing environment by managing priorities, driving accountability, and ensuring high-quality execution MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field * 12+ years of experience in Salesforce engineering, application development, or technical leadership within global SaaS organizations * Strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, integrations, and Salesforce platform customization * Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, governor limits, design patterns, and scalable solution design * Experience designing or supporting Salesforce solutions for post-sales functions such as Customer Success, Support, Renewals, Services, or customer lifecycle management * Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, release management, and Agile/Scrum delivery models * Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required; Salesforce Certified Application Architect and Salesforce Certified System Architect certifications strongly preferred SUCCESS MEASURES IN 3 MONTHS, YOU WILL Develop a strong understanding of MongoDB’s Salesforce ecosystem, post-sales business processes, and technical landscape.
