YOUR MISSION We have an opportunity in our Streetworks team for a Streetworks Administrator to predominantly support the NI projects, while providing support where required to other projects.     The role:  * Raising,closingand managing notices/permits from end to end including start/stop, PMR, variations, recording excavations etcand completing safe dig prints * ProcessingTTR’s,TTROand TTRN applications (depending on which projects working on across NI/GB) to various Highways Authorities * Completing risk assessments in line with SWUK protocol * Managing our works around other activities while focussing on collaborative working * Understanding of permit scheme legislation and the requirements for managingpermitconditions * Liaising with the councils (DfI/Cumbria/Westmorland etc) to discuss works and amend where necessary * Providestreetworksadministration supportin accordance withbusiness operations  * Ensure compliance with all elements ofstreetworkslegislation through effective management of notices,permitsand other documents * Have the ability toreact and deal with issues arisingas a result ofour works, escalating to Specialist or Team Lead whererequired. * Investigate reinstatement defects, including accepting, disputing, passing to 3rd party and updating trackers * Notifying relevant parties of over-runs and ensuring theappropriate councilare updated with action taken * Reporting low andhigh riskfailsin a timely manner, including the processing and accepting or disputing of thefail * Support the build team in dealing with customer complaints in relation toStreetworks/road closure activities andhave the ability toresolve these in a quick andtimelymanner * Liaise with operations, local authorities and third parties to arrange bus stop / parking suspensions / road closures and use of portable traffic signals * Liaise and arrange traffic management alongside the traffic management team * Support the development of processes,workflowsand efficiency improvements * Provide technical support and guidance to Operations in relation tostreetworksoffences  * Take part in theon callrota for weekend coverage of ‘starts and stops’ which is now part of the legislation forstreetworks * General administrative duties YOUR PROFILE * Strong scheduling experience and administrative background(essential) * Previousdemonstratable experience in a similar role (desirable) * Driven and able to work autonomously withhigh levelof attention to detail * Demonstratable experience of following processes and procedures and working to legislative requirements  * Competent or advanced competency with Microsoft Office applicationsand experience of using company specific software * Excellent communication skills across all levels * Demonstrable organisation and time management skills * Have the ability towork on their own while still achieving deadlines * Strategic mindset with the ability to prioritise tasks and focus on performance delivery while promoting efficiency improvements

We're building toward a world where anyone can reach anyone on a network that no single entity controls or can take away. This is frontier tech work — the protocols we're writing don't have established playbooks, and the tradeoffs we're navigating haven't all been mapped yet. This is where you come in. We're a small team seeking engineers who have a passion for decentralised chat and who've thought deeply about how these systems work, where they fail, and what it takes to get them right. You'll work directly on our SDK and contribute to the protocols underneath it, with real ownership over work that enables open communication. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Implement our messaging protocols in our reference SDK, translating protocol specs into reliable, production-quality Rust * Own the API design and developer experience of the SDK surface — abstractions, ergonomics, and developer-facing documentation * Contribute to messaging protocol specifications alongside the team * As a member of a small team, you'll wear many hats — picking up problems outside your immediate lane, learning as you go, and growing with the team * Write clear technical documentation and participate in async design discussions with collaborators across the project YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE * Deep familiarity with real-world instant messaging systems - you've worked on, contributed to, or spent serious time understanding how systems like Signal, Matrix, XMPP, or similar are built, where they make tradeoffs, and where they struggle * Experience with decentralised computing - peer-to-peer systems, distributed networks, or decentralised application infrastructure * Comfort working directly with cryptographic primitives - signatures, ciphers, and key exchanges and an understanding of secure private messaging principles such as forward secrecy, post-compromise security, and key management * Solid Rust experience: comfortable writing reliable, maintainable code in a team setting * Previous experience with Web3, blockchains, open protocols, and the values that underpin them * A strong alignment to our principles: https://logos.co/manifesto/ BONUS POINTS * Experience with Post-Quantum Cryptography and its application to secure messaging * Experience with MLS (Message Layer Security / RFC 9420) or the OpenMLS library specifically * You've authored or contributed to an open specification * Familiarity with P2P transport layers such as Waku or libp2p * Experience working for an open source organisation * Comfortable working remotely and asynchronously Don't worry if you don't meet all of these criteria — we'd still love to hear from you if you think you'd be a great fit.
