Data Engineer (Platform) – Consulting Opportunity | Uppsala (Hybrid) We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer (Platform) to join a consulting assignment with a Sweden-based organization. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development and enhancement of a modern, cloud-native data platform while working in a collaborative and technically skilled team. About the Role As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining applications running on a Kubernetes-based platform. You will work with modern engineering practices to build secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that support integration and data processing across the organization. You will collaborate with platform engineers, integration specialists, and data professionals to improve automation, monitoring, deployment, and overall platform capabilities. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain applications on a Kubernetes platform. Build and manage containerized solutions using modern development practices. Implement CI/CD and GitOps-based deployment processes. Develop applications using Python and integrate them with relational databases and APIs. Support platform monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions. Contribute to continuous improvements in platform reliability, security, and automation. Ensure timely delivery while taking ownership of assigned tasks. Required Qualifications Senior-level experience in software or platform engineering. Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. Proven experience developing applications on Kubernetes platforms. Experience working with DevSecOps principles and Git-based workflows. Strong programming experience with Python. Experience working with SQL Server or other relational database systems. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Apache Spark and large-scale data processing. Knowledge of data modeling and transformation pipelines. Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux. Familiarity with Delta Lake and S3-based storage solutions. Experience using Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration. Understanding of modern data warehouse concepts, including the Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold). Previous experience working with public-sector, municipal, or regional data platforms is an advantage. The role… At Soho House, a Busser is responsible for curating a we organized, clean and structured member and guest experience. A Busser, supports runners, servers and management by cleaning and resetting tables, ensuring the availability of flatware and plates, and bringing guest needs to the attention of waitstaff. They also restock necessary items, such as napkins and straws, and may assist with washing dishes. A successful Busser will be efficient, attentive, and have strong customer service skills. Main Duties * Detail all tables before service begins, ensure place settings are neat and organized and candles are on the tables * Ensure appropriate table setting and china is used for various services throughout the day; breakfast, lunch, dinner or feast service; mis en place (ketchup, salt pepper, HP and sugar bowl). * Stock all stations upon arrival (small plates, sharing plates, water and wines glasses, and all the silverware) and maintain throughout service along with working with your team to keep the bread warmer full and neat * Maintain section and ensure bread and water is delivery upon guests’ arrival while also assisting other sections when applicable * Clear tables plates, silver / glassware between each course and subsequently wipe down and re-set table for new guests * Polish silverware and pot wash are stored according to local standards * Complete side work before and after service (see side work sheets for details) * Making sure the cabinet and shelf in the bar area are full before service (glassware - silverware - plate ware). * Remove all the dirty linen from station and trash is empty and clean Required Skills/Qualifications * 1+ years of experience in similar role * Flexible schedule and open to working weekends / holidays (when needed) * Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. * Detail oriented ability to multitask and deliver results in demanding and fast-paced environments * Basic verbal communication skills. Physical Requirements * Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands. * Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours. * Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the club to others. * Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 40 pounds. * Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
