Adyen is seeking a Global Manager for the Payments Partner Engineering team. This role requires a leader with a solid technical
foundation, deep operational instincts, and a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams. You will be responsible
for the health of Adyen's payment partner integrations — spanning global card schemes, banks, wallets, local and alternative
payment methods — and for evolving the Partner Engineering function to reduce reactive operational work to proactively addressing
partner integration health.
As the leader of the global Payments Partner Eng team, you will manage a team of Payment Partner Engineers who serve as Adyen's
technical point of accountability for payment partner integrations. Your goal will be to drive integration reliability and
performance across Adyen's global payment method portfolio, while building the tools, processes, and capabilities that allow the
team to scale. This position requires a blend of leadership, technical and payments domain depth, strategic thinking, and the
ability to influence both internal stakeholders and external payment partners.
This role is critical in ensuring Adyen's payment partner integrations meet the reliability and performance standards that

ABOUT THE TEAM The Network Partnerships team sits within the Partnerships organization and is a key component of Stripe's success. Our team is responsible for developing and managing relationships with critical partners, such as Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, which are fundamental to the success of Stripe's product strategy and delivering new capabilities to Stripe users. WHAT YOU'LL DO We're looking for a US or Canada-based candidate to join our team to lead one of Stripe's critical network partnerships. The candidate will manage overall partner health, build internal strategy and business cases, drive deal negotiation and execution, and coordinate priorities with internal teams and external partners. The role requires close coordination with leadership, product and engineering teams, as well as cross-functional stakeholders including Legal, Finance, Risk, etc., and with external partners' leaders and senior executives. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that requires the ability to rally cross-functional teams and flex "general manager" skills to shepherd a meaningful portion of Stripe's P&L. TEAM LEAD - PAYMENT CLIENT FOUNDATION We're looking for a Team Lead to lead a team within the Payment Client Foundation organization in Bengaluru. This team owns and operates Adyen's integration with payment methods in store focused on the low-level integration layers, including payment kernels and ensuring compliance with global PCI standards. This is the foundation that keeps payment running for retailers around the globe. In this role, you will drive technical strategy, build a high-performing team, and shape the evolution of our platform as Adyen continues to scale globally. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead and grow a high-performing team: Manage engineers across all levels, owning day-to-day operations, planning, and hiring in Bengaluru. Experienced with collaborating with senior leadership to set strategic direction including product roadmaps. * Technical leader with a strong engineering perspective: You shape technical direction, improve reliability and performance, and ensure solutions are scalable and maintainable with a focus on automation. * Hands-on when needed: While this is a management role, you're comfortable in technical discussions to guide your team and ensure sound decisions, and can partner across development teams to diagnose and resolve issues when needed. * Technical skills: the team will primarily code in Kotlin, you have significant experience with Kotlin {Mandate} * In store domain expertise, your team will own payment method integrations for in store payments, this includes knowledge around payment kernels, pci p2pe and pci pin. Having experience with these protocols will be a significant benefit, however a technical mind who can quickly learn new low level technologies would also work. * Nice to have: willing to travel, both domestically and internationally when required to meet with colleagues and/or merchants.
