Integration Platform as a Service (IPaaS), “Grand Central”. Our platform enables our customers (banks, financial institutions) to
build and run integrations in a reliable and efficient way. In this role you will drive its uptime, automation, performance,
security, and long-term architecture. Your technical and operational experience will be essential in bringing this platform to the
next level. You won't just contribute—you will define and drive the technical roadmap to scale our services and shape the future
of our IPaaS.

Om rollen I rollen som Senior System Engineer kommer du att fungera som teknisk lead inom hårdvaruutveckling och livscykelhantering med särskilt fokus på elektronik och mekanisk design. Rollen innebär ansvar för att formulera, underhålla och vidareutveckla tekniska kravspecifikationer samt driva tekniska förbättringsinitiativ kopplade till våra befintliga instrumentplattformar. Du kommer att arbeta nära utveckling, QA/RA, produktion och externa leverantörer samt bidra med teknisk support både internt och externt. We develop, build, test and commission satellites and subsystems for a wide range of missions - including communications, Earth observation, and space research and exploration- serving both institutional and commercial customers within and outside Europe. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for defining and justifying the mission's Ground Segment Architecture, leading specification and requirements definition activities while actively contributing to procurement and the management of contractor developments. You will play a pivotal role within the Flight Operations Team by planning, executing, and optimizing satellite operations, maintaining spacecraft health, leading real-time anomaly responses, and guiding a small team of engineers. Consequently, your technical scope will include defining onboard failure detection autonomy, drafting flight procedures and user manuals, and planning and leading ground-based System Validation Tests (SVT). Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners to deliver robust solutions, this dynamic position demands strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining the automation frameworks that underpin our infrastructure operations. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies at scale, supporting our global trading and research operations. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll design, implement, and maintain infrastructure-as-code solutions, configuration management, infrastructure orchestration platforms, and monitoring systems that enable our engineering teams to deliver reliable, scalable services. Key Competencies Essential * 3+ years of hands-on experience with configuration management and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet, or Salt. * Proven experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in production environments. * Strong understanding of observability and monitoring practices, including experience with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar platforms. * Demonstrated ability to work confidently across both Unix based systems (Ubuntu, RHEL, or similar distributions) and Windows environments. * Experience with scripting and automation using languages such as Python, Powershell, Bash, or Go. * Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins or Github Actions. * Solid grasp of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and infrastructure architecture patterns. * Ability to participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation. * Embracing agentic engineering — willingness and ability to work effectively with AI -assisted development tools as part of daily workflow. Advantageous * Experience with container technologies beyond Kubernetes (Docker, container, etc). * Knowledge of GitOps workflows and tools such as ArgoCD or Flux. * Experience with security and secrets management practices using Hashi Corp Vault. * Understanding of storage systems and how they integrate with modern systems architecture. * Experience in financial services or other highly regulated industries. * Self-organised with the ability to prioritise and effectively manage time across multiple projects. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. * Contributions to open-source projects or active participation in technical communities is a plus.
