role within Platform Engineering is focused on security projects: embedding security into system design and infrastructure to
protect and accelerate our rapidly evolving technology landscape.
As a bridge between application development and production operations, Platform Engineering enables and applies security by
design: embedding controls, guardrails, and secure defaults directly into our platforms and infrastructure. You will implement
security into IMC systems in ways that reduce friction and raise our baseline of safety and reliability.
We are hiring a Site Reliability Engineer within Platform Engineering to drive security-focused initiatives across IMC. You will
collaborate closely with most technology teams, operate with high autonomy, and take ownership and responsibility for outcomes:
delivering high-impact improvements to source control, CI/CD, observability, and the secure foundations our trading platforms rely
on in a fast-changing, cutting-edge environment.

Our on-site IT Support team helps us to move at a higher pace and quality each day, from desktop support for end users to configuring and automating our systems to scale our support capabilities. Your Core Responsibilities In this fully 'on-site' position you are the first person that people interact with when they encounter any IT Systems problems ranging from Windows- to backend systems to any hardware issues. You support our growing Amsterdam office and act as first, second and third level of support. You will work on a wide range of (custom) systems and for growth you need to be on top of your game and be willing to take responsibility and act autonomous to provide an IT environment that is tackling all issues while ready to scale. Your responsibilities will include: * First to third line Support to our users. * Support physical and virtual desktop environment, infrastructure components (like O365, AD, Email, MDM, Audio and Visual Communication systems). * Deploy enterprise updates for Windows and macOS. * Install, modify and repair computer hardware and software (including servers, desktop and printers). * Troubleshoot, escalate and document computer network issues. * Assist in-house Facilities Management with the execution of desk and physical equipment moves. * Everything else that is necessary to keep us moving! Your Skills and Experience * A degree in ICT related field (BSc level ideally). * At least 3 years of experience in a similar role and fast paced environment. * Knowledge of Windows and Mac Operating Systems. Linux experience would be considered a plus * Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; ability to solve problems creatively and proactively. * Willing to get involved in physical tasks such as desk moves and room setups. * You have a strong drive to grow (at IMC we are committed to helping with that!). * You work autonomous with a sense of urgency and priorities based on business needs. * Availability and willingness to work on-site full-time. * Proficient in written and spoken English. You will be part of a team of experienced Site Reliability Engineers. The team is responsible for maintaining and evolving core infrastructure and observability tools, supporting product teams, and improving the reliability of Scaleway’s services.
