As a Senior Recruitment Business Partner, you will collaborate closely with our hiring teams to identify, attract, and hire top Commercial talent, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of our growing organization. What you’ll do: * Collaborate with commercial teams to define hiring needs and develop comprehensive recruiting strategies for our EMEA offices; * Proactively identify and engage top talent through creative sourcing techniques, cultivate strong connections with candidates and ensure a positive hiring experience through clear communication and support; * Own the entire recruitment cycle, from pinpointing essential talent gaps to managing candidate pipeline and closing offers. * Stay current with industry trends to enhance sourcing strategies while fostering an inclusive hiring process that values diverse perspectives; * Work closely with stakeholders to make data-driven hiring decisions and supporting smooth onboarding and integration of new hires; Who you are: * You have a minimum of 6 years experience in Recruitment (full-cycle); * Passionate about Commercial Recruitment with an understanding of the (fin)tech landscape and candidate market; * Utilize analytics to inform hiring strategies and improve recruitment outcomes; * Highly self-motivated with the ability to define structure and prioritize tasks effectively; * Proven track record of hiring for Commercial functions in EMEA; experience working with Marketing roles is a plus * Comfortable working with international teams while adhering to European working hours. About the role Adyen is looking for a HR Business Partner to contribute to the growth and scale of our Tech teams in EMEA. In this role, you will be working with managers, leaders and employees in all people programs such as talent development, employee relations and engagement and performance management. You will work closely with leaders to complement them, challenge and coach them on best practices and strategize to ensure we are creating the best experience for our people. SENIOR HR BUSINESS PARTNER – NETHERLANDS Location: Amsterdam Backbase is evolving into an AI-native organization. As the pace of change accelerates, the role of leaders and People Partners is changing too. This means a dedicated focus on workforce planning, talent management and supporting business transformations. We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to partner closely with leaders in the Netherlands and help drive a high-performance, high-accountability culture during a period of significant transformation and growth. This is not a traditional HRBP role focused on policy and process coordination. We are looking for a strong operator and performance partner who can challenge leaders, raise the talent bar, and help teams navigate change with clarity and pace. You will work directly with senior leaders across Product, Technology, Services, and Corporate functions, translating business priorities into people actions that drive performance, engagement, and execution. WHAT YOU’LL OWN * Strategic Business Partnership: Partner closely with leaders to align organization design, talent, performance, and workforce decisions with business priorities and transformation goals. * Performance & Talent Density: Help drive a culture of accountability and high performance. Support leaders in making strong talent decisions, raising the bar on performance, and building high-performing teams. * Manager Coaching & Leadership Support: Coach managers and senior leaders through performance conversations, organizational change, team effectiveness, and leadership challenges. * Transformation & Change: Support leaders and teams through significant organizational transformation, including evolving ways of working, AI-native operating models, and capability shifts across teams. * Talent Management: Drive key talent processes including succession planning, performance management, career development, and internal mobility. Ensure strong follow-through and quality discussions across the business. * Employee Relations & Governance: Partner with leaders and Legal on complex employee relations topics, ensuring balanced, pragmatic, and compliant decision-making in the Netherlands and across the globe. * Organizational Effectiveness: Help leaders think differently about structure, productivity, capability, and team design as the company evolves. Challenge complexity and support simplification where possible. Support designing solutions for the short and long term people planning. * Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning, and People Operations to ensure a connected employee experience and consistent execution across the People function. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR You are a strong business partner who knows how to balance employee experience with business performance. You are comfortable operating in fast-paced environments where priorities shift quickly and leaders expect clear, practical guidance. You challenge constructively, simplify complexity, and focus on what creates impact. You are not afraid to have difficult conversations and can build credibility with senior stakeholders through strong judgment and execution. You understand that leadership quality, talent density, and performance discipline matter; especially during transformation. • Experience as an HR Business Partner in a scaling tech, SaaS, or fast-moving international environment • Strong experience supporting senior leaders through change, performance management, and organizational challenges • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution • Strong understanding of Dutch employment law and employee relations • Experience supporting organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management discussions • Ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders with confidence and pragmatism • Fluent in Dutch + Clear communication style with strong judgment and business acumen • Experience working across multiple functions and stakeholder groups in complex organizations
