join our Risk Division. In this role, you'll play a key part in assessing and monitoring credit risk across QTC's lending
portfolio and investment counterparties, helping to safeguard QTC's financial sustainability while supporting the delivery of
critical outcomes across Queensland. Working alongside experienced credit risk professionals, you'll provide insightful analysis,
influence lending decisions, and partner with stakeholders across QTC, Queensland Treasury, government departments and
Government-Owned Corporations. About the role As a Client Credit Risk Specialist , you will: Conduct periodic credit reviews of
QTC's clients and counterparties. Assess new borrowing requests and prepare recommendations for relevant committees and
decision-making forums. Analyse financial statements, industry trends and operating environments to identify emerging risks and
opportunities. Monitor credit exposures, lending covenants, portfolio performance and credit limits. Prepare credit papers,
reports and recommendations aligned with QTC's risk framework and appetite. Develop, enhance and maintain financial models,
databases and analytical tools. Contribute to thematic credit reviews, market analysis and ad-hoc advisory projects. Support
reporting requirements and continuous improvement initiatives across the team. Build trusted relationships with stakeholders
across QTC, Queensland Treasury, government agencies, local governments, education entities and Government-Owned Corporations.
Contribute to technical leadership by sharing knowledge, coaching colleagues and supporting quality outcomes. About you We're
looking for a commercially minded credit risk professional who combines strong analytical capability with sound judgement and
excellent stakeholder engagement skills. To be successful, you will bring: A tertiary qualification in Commerce, Finance,
Economics, Business or a related discipline. 3 - 7 years’ experience in corporate credit, banking, financial analysis, project
finance, risk management or a related field. Strong expertise in financial statement analysis, credit assessment and risk
evaluation. Advanced Excel modelling and financial analysis skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the
ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences. Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building
capability. A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and collaboration. The ability to balance competing
priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Highly regarded: CFA, postgraduate or master's
qualifications. Experience with Power BI. Experience working with government, infrastructure, utilities, banking or institutional
