Dina arbetsuppgifter Våra uppdrag inom området kan exempelvis innebära att du: Planerar, koordinerar och driver processäkerhetsarbete i anläggning eller projekt Leder och deltar i riskanalyser såsom HAZOP, HAZID, grovanalyser, MOC (Management of Change) och andra processäkerhetsrelaterade aktiviteter Följer upp actions från genomförda riskanalyser och säkerställer att beslutade åtgärder implementeras Planerar och genomför PSSR (Pre-Startup Safety Reviews) Stöttar verksamheten i frågor kopplade till processäkerhet, HSE och efterlevnad av säkerhetskrav Bidrar med kompetens inom barriärhantering, riskreducerande åtgärder och förbättringsarbete Samverkar med drift, produktion, teknik, underhåll och projektorganisation i säkerhets- och förändringsfrågor Bidrar med processingenjörskompetens i samband med förändringar, optimeringar och tekniska förbättringar i processanläggningar Vem är du? Vi tror att du har erfarenhet från roller som Process Safety Engineer, HSE Engineer, processingenjör eller liknande inom processindustri, och att du trivs i uppdrag där du får kombinera säkerhetsarbete med teknisk förståelse och samarbete över flera funktioner. Vi ser gärna att du har: Flera års erfarenhet inom processäkerhet, HSE, processteknik eller närliggande områden Dokumenterad erfarenhet av HAZOP, HAZID, grovanalyser, MOC, processriskanalyser och riskhantering Erfarenhet av att driva och följa upp säkerhetsrelaterade aktiviteter, åtgärdsplaner och förbättringsinitiativ God förståelse för processrisker, barriärhantering och riskreducerande åtgärder Erfarenhet av PSSR Erfarenhet från kemisk industri, raffinaderi, petrokemi, energi, läkemedel eller annan processintensiv verksamhet God kommunikativ förmåga och vana att samarbeta med olika delar av organisationen Flytande engelska och god svenska i tal och skrift Meriterande: Meriterande är erfarenhet av maskinsäkerhet, särskilt i gränssnittet mellan maskiner och processutrustning. The Exploration Company

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. We are looking for an experienced HSE Engineer to oversee and manage EHS activities across three different sites. This role is integral to both our Operations and Project organizations, ensuring the safety, health, and environmental compatibility of our facilities, bit also contributing to the ongoing space projects. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Compliance and Safety Programs: * Define the ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification plans and roadmap, and drive the company to the compliance. * Ensure the organization complies with all relevant environmental, health, and safety regulations and standards set by local, national, and EU agencies. * Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies aimed at minimizing workplace hazards and ensuring a safe working environment. * Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure ongoing compliance with EHS standards and identify opportunities for improvement. * Monitor and drive the continual improvement of HSE performance metrics. Training: * Provide continuous training and education to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering a proactive culture of safety. Site EHS Management: * Oversee EHS management at three different sites, ensuring adherence to local and international HSE regulations. * Support the management of hazardous materials, ensuring their safe handling, storage, and disposal in compliance with regulations. Alerts Management: * Develop and coordinate robust emergency response plans and procedures to handle potential emergencies such as fires, chemical spills, or natural disasters effectively. * Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Manage safety alerts and communicate findings and recommendations effectively. Waste Management: * Oversee the proper handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, minimizing environmental impact. Quality Safety: * Support the Quality organization with safety-related aspects and contribute to the development and improvement of TEC's Quality Management System, * Ensure compliance with REACH and ROHS regulations, Project Safety: * Provide expert advice on health and safety matters related to product contributing to risk management process and hazard analysis at project level. WHAT WE WOULD LOVE TO SEE FROM YOU In the role of Quality Engineer ideally, you will have the following: * Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Chemistry, environmental policy, chemical engineering, EH&S, or a related business field is preferred. * Several years of experience in an EHS role, preferably within a manufacturing, aerospace, or similar industry, * Strong knowledge of local and EU EHS regulations and standards, primarily ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, * Experience with risk assessment methodologies, safety audits, and incident investigation, * Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, * Excellent writing and verbal communication skills, * Detail and solution-oriented mindset with a strong ability to work independently, * Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team environment while exhibiting strong leadership skills, * Willingness to travel as needed, * Working fluency in English. What you'll do: As a member of the CMS Safety Office, you will participate in all safety-related activities at the CMS experimental sites during the Long Shutdown 3, when both the detector and the infrastructure will undergo major upgrades. In particular, you will take a leading role in the technical review of all CMS fire extinguishing systems and safety monitoring systems to assess their design, coverage and suitability for the CMS upgrade. You will contribute to the review, testing, and commissioning of the CMS Alarm Action Matrix in collaboration with all the relevant stakeholders, as well as organise regular reviews of the systems and activities and guide risk assessments for the collaboration's teams. Your responsibilities: - Coordinate and supervise the installation, integration, and commissioning of safety-related infrastructure for CMS across its underground experimental and surface facilities on the French and Swiss sites. - Organise and follow up on the assembly, deployment, and commissioning of the CMS environmental monitoring system based on sniffers. - Lead the technical review, consolidation, maintenance, and follow-up of the CMS fire protection systems. Contribute to the definition, review, testing, and validation of safety system logic, in particular the CMS Alarm Action Matrix. - Interface with CMS Technical Coordination, subdetector teams, and safety link persons to ensure coherent implementation of safety requirements and proper integration of systems across multiple domains. - Support the preparation and follow-up of safety-related deliverables, including environmental monitoring systems and alarm management, ensuring traceability and consistency throughout the project lifecycle. - Participate in and guide activity reviews and related risk assessments within CMS. - Proactively contribute to the continuous improvements to the safety framework at the CMS experimental site, ensuring a safe working environment while streamlining safety processes and documentation to support the efficient execution of experimental activities. Let's make a quick check about: Your profile: - Experience with fire protection systems or environmental monitoring systems. - Extensive experience in the installation, integration, and commissioning of safety-related technical systems, preferably in a complex or multidisciplinary environment. - Experience in field-supervision, including installation follow-up, testing, and commissioning of complex systems. - Track record in activity safety supervision, risk assessment, and coordination of multiple stakeholders. Initial experience working with control and/or safety systems (e.g. monitoring systems, alarms, interlocks, or similar). - Knowledge of safety regulations and standards in an international environment. - Proven ability to work successfully within multinational and multicultural teams of scientists, engineers and technicians. - Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Health, Safety and Environment Engineering or a related field. Certificates in Safety Management (e.g. Nebosh) would be an advantage.
