WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * You take ownership of key accounting processes including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, monthly accruals, fixed asset management and payment runs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at scale. * You take full ownership of month-end and year-end closing activities, delivering reliable, compliant financial reporting aligned with HGB requirements. * You lead the preparation of annual financial statements (HGB) and act as a key contact during internal and external audits. * You challenge existing workflows, proactively driving improvements and automation in collaboration with Finance and DataOps. * You take ownership of project-based financial initiatives and operational improvements together with our Director of Financial Controlling to strengthen our finance infrastructure as we grow. Mission Brief This is an exciting opportunity to join Isar Aerospace in a key role. You will work closely with finance team in headquarter and yet have an independent role in this exciting new space business. Isar Norway and Isar Sweden will gradually insource more of our accounting activities under your oversight. As the responsible accountant you will ensure that accounting processes are running smoothly in both Norway and Sweden, and together with our external tax and accounting provider secure that one time month/year end closing are done in a timely and accurate manner. Why this role is unique * Own the General Ledger for multiple German legal entities. * Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with IFRS and HGB. * Contribute to finance transformation and continuous process improvements. * Work closely with international finance teams across the AutoScout24 Group. What you'll do * Maintain the General Ledger for German legal entities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately and in line with Group accounting policies, IFRS, HGB and local statutory requirements. * Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, annual audits and other local reporting requirements. * Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are investigated and resolved. * Assist with monthly VAT returns and related tax compliance activities. * Support the global intercompany reconciliation process and collaborate with finance teams across the Group. * Contribute to system improvements and finance projects that enhance efficiency and strengthen internal controls. What you'll bring * University degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. * Professional accounting qualification or active studies towards ACCA, ACA, CPA, Bilanzbuchhalter, Steuerfachwirt or an equivalent qualification. * Solid knowledge of IFRS and HGB. * Experience in General Ledger Accounting or Legal Entity Accounting within a medium to large international organisation. * Experience with ERP systems; Workday Financials is a plus. * Fluent German and English.
