WHAT IS THE ROLE We are looking for a dynamic Revenue Manager who is eager to collaborate and support significant growth at a global, publicly traded software company! Based in India, this position will report directly to the Senior Revenue Manager. Are you well versed in revenue accounting? Does being a critical member of a cross-functional team that is continuously problem solving sound exhilarating and ambitious? WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING * Assisting with revenue contract review under ASC 606 guidance. Determining appropriate Revenue recognition for signed contracts. * Supporting cross-functional partners (Sales, Order Ops, CBO, FP&A, Platform Billing, etc.) by resolving SFDC cases. * Drafting or reviewing revenue memos. * Contributing to the Revenue close process with a dedicated focus on cloud revenue accounting. * Leading and reviewing UAT testing to drive system and process improvements. * Performing or reviewing revenue reconciliations, analysis and managing complex large datasets. * Coordinating and managing auditing requests, including addressing auditor inquiries. * Developing and delivering internal training to enhance organizational revenue knowledge sharing. * Finding opportunities to improve existing processes and controls and minimize risk. * Completing ad hoc projects and supporting a variety of critical initiatives. WHAT YOU BRING * 8+ years of overall experience in revenue with an understanding of ASC 606, including software and SaaS related principles. * Big 4 and/or publicly traded technology company experience (preferred). * RevPro, NetSuite and Salesforce experience preferred * Google Workspace applications including Google BigQuery, Gemini, Gmail, Google-Sheets, Google-Docs, and NoteBookLM preferred * Sigma or comparable Front End BI Tool experience desired. * Claude or comparable AI tool experience desired. * Comfortability working independently in a distributed, dynamic, fast-paced environment. * Outstanding communication (written and verbal) and social skills. * Strong project management skills, including the capacity to balance multiple competing priorities. * A talent for simplifying and summarizing sophisticated information. * Composure in evolving and ambitious circumstances. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * A positive and proactive demeanor. * A strong desire for learning, growth and development. * A strong commitment to deadlines and being detail oriented. * An excellent team player and a fast learner. #LI-DS1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - WE TAKE CARE OF OUR PEOPLE As a distributed company, diversity drives our identity. LEGAL ENTITY CONTROLLER (BANGALORE) About Stripe Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. To further this important mission, we're building our Accounting team in Bangalore Finance and are looking for someone to help us scale for the future in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities * End-to-end controllership for assigned legal entity(ies), including financial close, statutory reporting, audit readiness, regulatory filings, and adoption with the board or local management * Preparation and sign-off of statutory financial statements and coordination of statutory adoption processes with local boards and directors and external advisors * Manage external auditors and local service providers, setting scope, driving timelines, resolving findings, and maintaining high-quality documentation for audits, reviews, and regulatory inspections * Oversee monthly, quarterly, and year-end close, leading complex journal entries, reconciliations, technical accounting assessments, variance analysis, and executive reporting packages * Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of entity-level accounting policies and internal control frameworks, and own SOX and internal control compliance and remediation where applicable * Serve as the primary business partner to Tax, Treasury, Legal, FP&A, and regional finance teams on transactions and policy changes that affect the entity's accounting, tax, and regulatory outcomes * Identify, prioritize, and deliver process improvements and automation initiatives that materially increase accuracy, speed, or scalability of entity accounting (RPA, ERP configuration, reporting pipelines, templates, or tooling) * Resolve technical accounting questions and apply US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP judgment — escalate to central technical accounting teams when needed with well-formed recommendations * Provide coaching and mentorship to more junior accounting teammates, and lead cross-functional projects and working groups to improve operating models * Act as a subject-matter expert for entity-level reporting requests, internal and external audits, regulatory inquiries, and management escalations QUALIFICATIONS * Professional accountancy qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with 9+ years of progressive accounting experience, including significant controllership exposure * Deep hands-on experience with monthly and year-end close, statutory financial statement preparation, external audits, regulatory filings, and variance analysis * Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, and experience applying local GAAP and converging treatments across frameworks * Demonstrated experience owning internal control programs (SOX or similar) and executing control design and remediation * Track record of delivering automation or process simplification at the entity level (ERP, reconciliation tooling, reporting pipeline improvements) * Strong technical and problem-solving skills, advanced Excel ability, and experience with financial systems (e.g., Oracle, Workiva, Blackline, or similar).
