Smartsheet is seeking a Senior Business Systems Engineer to join our Corporate Systems Development team in Bangalore. This role focuses on building and maintaining scalable backend integrations using AWS services, powering mission-critical data flows across internal systems in Finance, People, Sales, Legal, and Engineering. You’ll develop solutions leveraging tools like AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, and languages such as Node.js and Python, integrating systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Snowflake, and other enterprise platforms. This role is based in Bangalore, India, reporting to the Senior Manager, Systems Development, and collaborating closely with global engineers, system analysts, and architects. You Will: * Design, build, and maintain backend integrations using AWS services such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS, and EventBridge * Develop API-based automations and orchestrate data flows between Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Snowflake, and other SaaS platforms * Refactor and enhance legacy integration logic to align with modern architecture standards * Own your code from design through CI/CD (GitLab) and deployment via Terraform/CloudFormation * Collaborate with US-based engineers on shared initiatives, sprint planning, code reviews, and technical handoffs * Participate in a shared production support rotation, resolving critical integration and data pipeline issues * Provide technical mentorship to junior engineers, especially on high-complexity initiatives * Partner with architects and BSAs to review integration design and testing strategies for reliability and resilience * Support both ETL-style batch pipelines and real-time event streaming using CDC and platform events * Contribute to evolving team SOPs, architecture standards, and shared development libraries * Lead backend development within complex cross-functional projects, including work breakdown and delivery tracking You Have: * BS in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry experience * 7+ years of experience in backend software development or automation using Node.js, Python, VS code or similar * Strong experience with AWS services, especially Lambda, S3, SQS/SNS, EventBridge, DynamoDB * Expertise in database design, schema modeling, and query optimization (DynamoDB & Snowflake preferred) * Strong grasp of integration design patterns, secure API development (REST/SOAP), and system interoperability * Develop and maintain GitLab based CI/CD pipeline implementations for tests, linting, deployment, etc. * Experience with managing infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) * Demonstrated experience building and maintaining integrations with Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Coupa, Stripe, Snowflake * Familiarity with data validation, schema evolution, and cross-system reconciliation (preferred) * Excellent collaboration and communication skills in a distributed, global team setting * Confidence navigating production environments, owning critical issue resolution from end to end * Experience delivering integrations and automation solutions across Finance, People, Sales, Legal, BI * Proven ability to lead initiatives and proactively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders * Comfortable working independently, while also mentoring and reviewing work for Level 1/2 developers * The flexibility to adjust to changing priorities, new technologies, and evolving project requirements. * Comfortable operating in an Agile environment, and familiar with Sprint ceremonies like Daily stand-up, Sprint planning,Sprint Finalization etc.  * Familiar with prompt engineering / Generative AI for code generation is preferred   Get to Know Us: At Smartsheet, your ideas are heard, your potential is supported, and your contributions have real impact. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a NetSuite Administrator who understands how to implement and scale enterprise systems. Smartsheet is looking to hire a Senior NetSuite Administrator who will proactively improve and support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Smartsheet’s NetSuite system and other related SAAS enterprise systems. This role reports to the Manager, Enterprise Systems within Corporate IT and is based in India. This NetSuite Administrator will need to demonstrate strong influence and communications skills to collaborate internally with the Finance, Engineering, Sales and IT departments and act as an advisor to the organization on system efficiency and effectiveness. The position will be the primary internal support contact for NetSuite, all related points of integration. You Will: * Maintain the NetSuite application and other related 3rd party business applications for internal users * Develop, test and deploy customizations, custom objects, 3rd party tools / applications and new NetSuite modules based on evolving business needs * Support end user requests for new saved searches, reports, KPI’s, and dashboards, and maintain proper system access for user roles * Act as NetSuite SME providing training, communication and updates to end users of the NetSuite system * Create technical documentation, including fully documenting existing and new customizations, scripts, workflows, and business processes, and keeping all documentation up to date * Partner with NetSuite users and stakeholders, assisting with data analysis, business process mapping, reporting needs, continuous improvement initiatives, change management and support for optimal usage * Provide timely communication regarding system status * Troubleshooting of system errors and resolution * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of NetSuite functionality, customization and integrations You Have: * 7+ years of experience with ERP administration, configuration, and 3rd party integrations in complex environments, specifically with NetSuite * Administrator-level knowledge of roles, permissions, page layouts, custom objects, scripting, workflows, reports and dashboards * In-depth knowledge of SuiteScript / WebServices, csv imports, user provisioning, defining roles, analytics and scheduling scripts * Ability to analyze problems, develop and recommend solutions and resolve issues * Ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment that places a strong premium on integrity, excellence, execution and teamwork
