Get to Know our Team:   App platform team tackles Infrastructure pain points head on. The end goal is to create a robust ecosystem that the wider mobile org can reliably build within and on top of, and members of the App platform team dedicate their time and attention entirely towards this end. Examples of this include CI/CD improvements, App architecture and core-libraries improvements, dev experience improvements, Customer experience improvements In this role, you’ll get to:  * Design, develop, and maintain Android applications that integrate with the platform’s core services and APIs * Partner closely with Product, Design, Backend, and Mobile engineers to define requirements, design features, and deliver cohesive user experiences * Drive engineering best practices for testing, quality assurance, and release readiness, including automated testing strategies * Build and evolve reusable platform components (SDKs, internal libraries, shared UI/infra patterns) to accelerate multiple product teams * Contribute to or lead initiatives involving WebView-based architecture, including performance, security, debugging, and deep integration with native modules * Improve developer velocity via CI/CD pipelines for mobile (build, test automation, release flows, quality gates) * Raise reliability standards by improving observability: performance monitoring, crash analysis, app/service metrics, logging, and alerting * Identify and implement opportunities for optimization across the technology stack, focusing on cost, efficiency, velocity, and developer happiness * Enable cross-team collaboration on large initiatives, improving overall code quality, architecture, and platform consistency * Provide thoughtful feedback and mentorship, fostering an inclusive engineering culture and strong engineering fundamentals * Communicate complex technical trade-offs clearly to stakeholders across levels, including non-technical partners What you’ll Need to Succeed:  * 10+ years of software development experience building large-scale applications; strong craft in either native app engineering (Android) or web engineering, with openness to working across both when needed * 3+ years in a Tech Lead (or equivalent) role, owning execution and technical direction end-to-end * Proven experience owning production systems with significant impact on design, development, deployment, monitoring, and long-term evolution * Strong engineering leadership: mentoring senior engineers, influencing across teams, and driving alignment through clear communication * Advanced proficiency in modern app development frameworks and architectural choices (scalable patterns, modularization, maintainability) * Strong understanding of app development challenges and solutions: performance, stability, backwards compatibility, and security * Expert-level knowledge of testing methodologies and best practices; ability to drive end-to-end test strategy (e.g., UI/E2E automation) * Practical experience improving engineering throughput through CI/CD (automated builds, test pipelines, release workflows) * Ability to use data and telemetry to guide improvements; experience with observability for app/service performance is a strong advantage * Strong problem-solving: can do deep research, make decisions on complex projects, and balance independence with collaboration * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field It’s great if you have:  * Experience working across both native mobile and web applications (one strong core skill is enough; openness to the other is key) * Experience in a platform team building reusable solutions used by multiple teams/products * Hands-on experience with WebView internals (rendering/performance/debugging, JS bridges, security, architecture decisions) * Proficiency in writing and maintaining end-to-end tests (e.g., Espresso/UI Automator/Detox/Appium or equivalents depending on stack) * Experience building or maintaining CI/CD for native apps (build automation, test automation, release management, feature flags) * Experience with observability (crash analytics, performance monitoring, tracing/metrics/logging, SLO-driven improvements) * Experience in scaled product/internet companies with high traffic, large user bases, and high transaction volume * Experience with cross-platform technologies (React Native, WebViews, Flutter, etc.) and making pragmatic trade-off decisions    This position is based in Bangkok, Thailand (Relocation Provided)     #sanfrancisco #newyork #seattle #bangalore #london #toronto #sydney #washingtonDC #boston #losangeles #austin #dallas #hyderabad #denver #melbourne #chicago #atlanta #vancouver #berlin #saopaulo #IT #ENG #4 #LI-NP1  #IT #4 #5 #LI-Hybrid       PLEASE REVIEW OUR HIRING PROCESS GUIDELINES BEFORE YOUR INTERVIEW — CLICK HERE TO LEARN HOW INTERVIEWING AT AGODA WORKS.     DISCOVER MORE ABOUT WORKING AT AGODA * Agoda Careers https://careersatagoda.com * Facebook https://www.facebook.com/agodacareers/ * LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/company/agoda * YouTube https://www.youtube.com/agodalife   Equal Opportunity Employer  At Agoda, we pride ourselves on being a company represented by people of all different backgrounds and orientations. This role works closely with engineering teams and focuses on building, reviewing, and operating security controls using Infrastructure as Code, Kubernetes, and custom security services written in Go and TypeScript.   Key Responsibilities:   Secure Cloud Deployment: * Design, implement, and manage secure cloud deployments across AWS and GCP environments using Terraform. * Kubernetes & GitOps Security: Deploy and manage both internal and third‑party security products within the Kubernetes ecosystem. * Work with GitOps workflows using tools like Argo CD and Flux, and Helm charts. * Security Automation & Tooling: Design and build security tooling and services using Go and TypeScript. * Misconfiguration Management: Proactively identify, analyze, and remediate cloud misconfigurations. * Cloud Architecture Guidance: Provide guidance to Engineering teams on secure architecture. * Threat Detection & Response: Build and optimize cloud-native detection rules and alerting pipelines to monitor for suspicious activities within the cloud and container workloads. Required Skills & Experience: * 8+ years of experience in security engineering, cloud security, or platform engineering roles. * Hands-on experience securing production workloads in AWS and GCP. * Strong experience designing and securing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. * Deep understanding of Kubernetes security, including troubleshooting Helm deployments and GitOps-based workflows. * Strong programming skills in Go and TypeScript, with Python used for automation where appropriate. * Experience embedding security controls into CI/CD pipelines. * Certifications (Required) Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) Certifications (Preferred) AWS Certified Security * Specialty Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate * Nice-to-Have Experience with Policy-as-Code frameworks such as Open Policy Agent (OPA). * Experience securing service mesh environments (Istio). Senior Security Operations Engineer We are seeking a hands-on Senior Security Operations Engineer to operate and improve key enterprise security platforms across endpoint, server, network, and secure access environments. This role will work closely with infrastructure, network, IT, and engineering teams to strengthen security operations, improve service reliability, and drive automation across critical security technologies. Key Responsibilities * Design, build, and optimize CrowdStrike across user devices and server environments; define and enforce sensor policies, detection tuning, and response playbooks. * Administer and support Zscaler ZIA, ZDX, and ZPA. Manage policy lifecycles, tunnel configurations, app connector health, and user experience monitoring. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to network connectivity, VPN, secure access, and SASE services. * Support security operations activities, incident handling, and root cause analysis across managed platforms. * Use APIs and scripting to automate routine tasks, reporting, and platform integrations. * Deploy and manage security platform configurations through Terraform and CI/CD pipelines, following IaC best practices and change management processes. * Apply generative AI use cases to improve operational workflows, troubleshooting, and team productivity.
