We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Game Economy to join our team in Barcelona. Unlike traditional game
economy roles focused on a single title, this position will operate as a centralized expert resource across multiple games. You
will lead economic strategy on a project basis: analyzing each game, identifying the key opportunities and challenges in its
economy, and guiding the design and implementation of sustainable solutions.
In addition, you will play a critical role in building and mentoring in-game economy teams. While you will initially lead the
economic development for each project, you will also establish the long-term structures and train internal teams within each game
to own and manage the economy independently.
This role is both strategic and hands-on: blending research, analysis, system design, cross-team collaboration, and leadership
development.
You aren't just managing one game; you are the architect of a portfolio. You will step into different projects to diagnose
economic health, design robust pricing and reward systems, and then train the local teams to take the reins.

The position We are currently looking for a Design Director to join our team. This person establishes and maintains the vision & standards for the design discipline within SSO. They are the primary point of accountability for ensuring that SSO's design team is working optimally with regard to personnel, skills, knowledge, processes, and structure.
