We're an independent European digital product studio with a strong track record of delivering market-defining strategies, products
and platforms for enterprises and governments. With about 200 talented people across three countries, premium AI capabilities and
a diverse portfolio of international clients, we define, design and ship at scale and with impact. From global cloud-based
platforms, AI-systems and large-audience apps to medical devices, banking software and full AI Transformation roadmaps. We live
and breathe digital.
At In The Pocket, you join a multidisciplinary team of designers, engineers, strategists and AI specialists who care about the
work as much as the people they work with. We work in small, autonomous teams that stay close to our clients and their users, and
we give everyone the space to take ownership, speak up and grow. You'll learn from colleagues across our studios, impact thousands
or even millions of people with your work and help shape our business in the age of intelligence.
AI is rewriting how organisations operate and compete. Many of our clients know they need to act, but struggle with where to
start, what to prioritise and how to scale AI beyond the proof of concept. That's where you come in.
As a Senior AI Transformation Consultant, you help organisations see their future through the lens of AI and give them the
framework to work towards it. You work across strategy, organisational design and applied AI, moving fluidly between a boardroom
workshop and a hands-on pilot with a product team. You're comfortable telling a CEO which bets to make and equally comfortable
rolling up your sleeves to define the use case, sketch the architecture and plan the rollout. You'll operate from our studios in
Ghent, Antwerp or Leuven, but this is a client-facing role. You should be open to prolonged embedded assignments at enterprise and
government clients, leading their AI transformation on-site as a trusted advisor who's part of their daily rhythm, not a
consultant who flies in for a slide deck.
You'll work within our AI Transformation team, which covers three areas: Organisational AI Readiness, AI Discovery and Applied AI.
These areas require different focus and expertise, we’re curious to hear where you thrive and excel (and where you don’t). In The
Pocket has developed a proprietary and successful approach to AI Transformation, which you’ll champion across industries, such as
healthcare, government, utilities, retail and finance.

You'll learn from colleagues across our studios, impact thousands or even millions of people with your work and help shape our business in the age of intelligence. WHAT YOU'LL DO AI is rewriting how organisations operate and compete. Many of our clients know they need to act, but struggle with where to start, what to prioritise and how to scale AI beyond the proof of concept. That's where you come in. As an AI Transformation Expert, you help organisations see their future through the lens of AI and give them the framework to work towards it. You work across strategy, organisational design and applied AI, moving fluidly between a boardroom workshop and a hands-on pilot with a product team. You're comfortable telling a CEO which bets to make and equally comfortable rolling up your sleeves to define the use case, sketch the architecture and plan the rollout. You should be open to prolonged embedded assignments at enterprise and government clients, leading their AI transformation on-site as a trusted advisor who's part of their daily rhythm, not a consultant who flies in for a slide deck. You'll work within our AI Transformation team, which covers three areas: Organisational AI Readiness, AI Discovery and Applied AI: Help organisations get AI-ready * Assess a client's organisational maturity for AI adoption: governance, tooling, data foundations, capabilities. * Assist organisations in setting up governance practices and AI orchestration layers to bring scattered AI efforts under a clear operational framework. DISCOVER WHERE AI CREATES VALUE * Facilitate workshop series to uncover and prioritise AI use cases for a client, producing a growth map ranked by value and feasibility, with clear owners, timelines and success metrics. * Develop AI differentiation strategies: where can this client build a competitive edge through? What will their competitors do, and what can they do that's different? * Create solution concept sketches, stakeholder maps and data requirement overviews for the top-priority use cases. * Build roadmaps that balance quick wins with longer-term foundational investments, so clients can show results while laying the groundwork for scale. GET AI INTO PRODUCTION * Scope, plan and guide AI pilot projects: From defining success criteria to shipping a working solution that proves value and builds internal buy-in. * Define KPI’s and evaluation frameworks focused on impact and outcome. * Lead the path from pilot to production. Define KPIs and evaluation frameworks that prove impact: And guide clients through the inevitable gap between a successful pilot and a production-ready solution." GO TO MARKET * Contribute to the development of our AI Transformation frameworks, playbooks and toolkits. * Support our Sales team and Help shape proposals and pitches for new AI transformation engagements. * Share knowledge across In The Pocket and with the broader market through talks, articles or workshops. WHO YOU ARE * You have 3+ years of professional experience (prior experience in consulting is a plus, digital strategy or transformation roles serving enterprise or public-sector clients is a plus). * You have a solid grasp of AI and machine learning concepts; Not necessarily as an engineer, but enough to have credible conversations about what's possible, what's practical and what's hype. You can partner with engineering and data teams without needing to be walked through the basics. * You can run a workshop with senior stakeholders, synthesise findings into a clear strategy and present it back with confidence. You don't hide uncertainty from executives; you explain trade-offs honestly. * You think in terms of business outcomes, not features. * You get excited by ensuring responsible adoption of AI, taking into account relevant legislation like the EU AI Act, compliance needs like ISO-27001 and understanding the right context to promote human-first AI principles. * You're familiar with the current AI landscape: foundation models, agentic workflows, AI orchestration platforms, the buy-vs-build trade-offs companies face. * In your daily way of working, you have an “AI-first”-mindset. You are a fluent orchestrator of various relevant AI-tools to keep the focus on client partnership rather than administrative tasks. * You write well and you’re a great communicator and presenter in both Dutch and English. French is a strong plus. * You are discrete when required and on stage when the opportunity presents itself. WHAT WE OFFER Joining In The Pocket means becoming part of a team that shapes the future of our clients’ businesses across Europe. Here’s what you can look forward to: * You’ll start with a permanent contract in a role that comes with responsibility and the opportunity to make a real impact from day one. * We offer a competitive salary that reflects your experience and the value you bring. * Our benefits package has you covered with hospitalisation and group insurance, meal vouchers, a phone subscription, and more. * You’ll have a mobility budget that lets you decide how to get around, your way. * Life at In The Pocket isn’t just about work, we host team events throughout the year to celebrate, connect, and have fun together. * Learning never stops here, so after six months, you’ll receive a dedicated learning and development budget to keep growing your skills and exploring new horizons.

Typical work includes: * Designing AI-native architectures and intelligent systems * Building and deploying LLM-based applications in production * Implementing RAG solutions across large and complex information landscapes * Designing agent-based workflows and autonomous system behaviours * Defining governance, observability and evaluation strategies for AI systems * Integrating AI capabilities into existing products, platforms and business processes * Evaluating trade-offs around performance, reliability, cost and control * Supporting clients in their AI transformation journey * Contributing to the development of Knowit's AI strategy and AI offerings WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We're primarily looking for senior profiles with hands-on experience in applied AI. You likely have experience with several of the following: * Building applications using LLMs * Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and vector databases * Agent frameworks and orchestration platforms * System architecture and distributed systems * Python or similar programming languages * Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP * Evaluation, monitoring and optimisation of AI systems * Data engineering and integration of complex information sources Experience with enterprise architecture, platform engineering or large-scale software development is highly valuable. WHO YOU ARE You understand that AI is changing software engineering and system design fundamentally. You enjoy working across strategy, architecture and implementation, and you're comfortable helping clients navigate both technical and organisational challenges related to AI adoption. You are curious, pragmatic and continuously learning as the AI landscape evolves. You don't need to fit a perfect profile – we value different strengths, whether you lean more towards architecture, platform engineering or implementation. WHY JOIN US At Knowit, you'll be part of a team that helps organisations move forward in their AI journey – from early exploration to real, implemented solutions. We work closely with our clients to understand their needs, identify opportunities and turn ideas into practical applications. Whether it's defining strategy, designing architectures or building production-ready systems, you'll play a key role in helping others succeed with AI. What you can expect: * Working hands-on with clients to solve real business problems using AI * Supporting organisations at different stages of their AI maturity * Collaborating in a strong engineering culture where knowledge sharing is part of everyday work * Opportunities to influence both client solutions and how we grow our AI capabilities internally * A variety of projects and industries, giving you both breadth and depth over time * A formal development roadmap where continuous AI learning and capability building are integrated parts of your professional growth We're building our AI capabilities together with our clients, which means your work will have a direct impact – not only on what we do, but on how others succeed in applying AI.
