We are looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician at Home of the Innocents to help keep our campus, facilities, and equipment safe and operational for the children and families we serve. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring our environment meets the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality, all while contributing to our mission of providing hope and healing. A Day in the Life As a Facilities Maintenance Technician, you’ll help maintain the grounds, facility, and equipment of Home of the Innocents in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards. You’ll coordinate daily maintenance tasks, respond to work orders, and assist with ensuring the safety and comfort of our residents and staff. Your work ensures that the environment remains clean, safe, and welcoming at all times. How This Position Contributes to the Mission * Ensure that maintenance schedules are followed and coordinate daily maintenance services as needed. * Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures at all times, using appropriate safety equipment when needed. * Maintain campus and work areas in a safe and orderly manner on a daily basis. * Work collaboratively with each department to ensure all maintenance needs are met. * Track and report maintenance supply needs, ensuring everything is properly cleaned and stored daily. * Report equipment malfunctions and breakdowns as soon as possible. Skills & Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required; trade or vocational school training preferred. Years of applicable experience may substitute. * 3+ years of experience in general, full-service building maintenance is essential. * Valid driver’s license and clear driving record required. * Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language. * Ability to make independent decisions, follow instructions, and accept constructive criticism. * Ability to work effectively with personnel, residents, families, government agencies, and the general public. * Must maintain supplies, equipment, and the appearance of maintenance work areas, and have the ability to minimize waste and misuse of equipment. * Willingness to work harmoniously with other staff and to provide care that respects the maturity level of each resident. * Interest in learning and applying new maintenance methods and principles. * Ability to follow written and oral instructions. * Ability to report information concerning a resident’s condition as needed. We are looking for a Service Quality Specialist to join our Nordic Service organization and play a key role in ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant wind turbine operations across the region. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced wind turbine technician or QHSE/Quality professional to further develop their career in a regional role. You will work hands-on in the field, apply your expertise in both Quality and HSE, and actively influence how service operations are executed across multiple sites. In this role, you will spend significant time on-site at wind farms and service locations across the Nordic region, working closely with technicians, supervisors, project teams, and subcontractors. Your focus will be to ensure that quality standards, processes, and safety practices are consistently met and continuously improved, while supporting both operational excellence and a strong safety culture. YOUR TASKS Be present on-site at wind farms and service locations, conducting QHSE audits and inspections to ensure both quality standards and safety requirements are met Monitor and improve work quality during maintenance, erection, and commissioning activities, identifying deviations and driving corrective actions Support project-to-service handovers, ensuring that documentation, processes, and turbine quality meet operational standards Coordinate and audit subcontractors, including qualification, performance follow-up, and quality inspections of their work Take an active role in quality topics, including nonconformities, claims, and root-cause analysis, ensuring sustainable solutions Deliver QHSE training, coaching, and toolbox talks, strengthening both quality awareness and safety culture in operational teams Collaborate closely with site teams to improve ways of working, ensuring adherence to procedures, work instructions, and quality requirements Participate in internal and external audits, clearly documenting findings and supporting follow-up actions Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, helping to raise standards across the region YOUR PROFILE Background as a Wind Turbine Technician (3+ years) or experience in a QHSE / Quality role in an industrial or field-based environment Strong understanding of quality processes (not only HSE), including audits, inspections, and problem-solving methodologies Technical education in Electrical or Mechanical field (apprenticeship or diploma) or a degree in Quality Engineering Comfortable working hands-on in the field, including at heights and in outdoor environments Fluent in English; Nordic language skills are an advantage Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the Nordic region Confident working independently with a structured and solution-oriented mindset Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence teams and promote quality and safety best practices on site What we offer With colleagues based across the globe, joining Nordex is a great opportunity if you enjoy working in a diverse and international environment.
