As a Senior Consultant (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy, you will sit at the center of this mission. You won't just deliver static slides; you will bridge the gap between technical possibilities and business imperatives, guiding clients from a focused short-term engagement with Mittelstand manufacturers to multi-phase AI transformations with enterprises. In this role, you will take ownership of cross-functional workstreams, drive data-driven decision-making, and actively shape the digital future of our clients.   WHAT YOU WILL DO: * Client advisory & strategy: Work closely with (international) clients to understand their business needs and translate them into data-driven recommendations that support strategic decision-making and business transformation. * Data & analysis: Collect, synthesise and iterate data to create actionable insights. You work with a modern, AI-native toolstack - from LLM-powered environments (e.g. Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT) and agentic workflow tools (e.g. n8n, Lovable) to coding assistants and automation platforms - and communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with SQL or Python remains a plus, but the ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate analysis and delivery is what we value most. * Project delivery: Take ownership of project workstreams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery in alignment with overall project goals. Work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams across consulting, data, and tech functions. * Data & AI solutions: Support the development of data strategies, AI use cases, and business intelligence solutions, contributing to governance frameworks and implementation roadmaps where relevant. * Knowledge sharing & collaboration: Contribute to a strong team culture by sharing knowledge, staying up to date with digital and AI trends, and supporting continuous team development. * Business development & thought leadership: Actively contribute to Artefact’s growth in Germany - supporting client proposals, shaping new service offerings, and creating intellectual capital such as frameworks, point-of-views, and benchmarks that strengthen our market position.   CANDIDATE PROFILE At our heart, we define ourselves by a culture of ownership, intellectual curiosity, and cooperation. We are looking for driven, capable talents who bring strong motivation and curiosity for new challenges.  * Experience: You have at least 2–3 years of experience in management consulting, technology consulting, or in-house corporate strategy roles, with a proven track record of participating in data/AI strategy, cloud transformation, or applied AI/Machine Learning projects. * Education: A completed university degree (Bachelor’s or Master's) in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field. * Data & AI Fluency: You possess a strong affinity for data management and modern AI technologies. You are familiar with concepts like Generative AI, LLMs, or predictive analytics and are eager to bridge the gap between business needs and AI deployment. Ideally, you have hands-on experience in AI use case conceptualization or data platform tracking. * Business & analytical mindset: You combine strong analytical skills with a business-oriented perspective. You enjoy identifying business problems and translating them into practical AI and data-driven solutions. * Technical skills: You are confident working with PowerPoint and Google Slides to produce polished client-ready output. More importantly, you know how to leverage AI tools - from LLM environments to agentic workflows - to run analysis, generate insights, and accelerate delivery. Experience with SQL, BI tools, or programming languages is not a requirement, but comfort with structured data and a hands-on attitude toward new tools is expected. * Communication & collaboration: You communicate complex technical topics clearly in both German and English. You enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams and collaborating across different levels and functions (e.g., translating requirements between business stakeholders and data scientists). * Personal attributes: You are proactive, structured, and solution-oriented, with a strong client focus and stakeholder understanding. You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy solving complex problems. * Languages: Business-fluent German and English are required - you will participate in client workshops, present to senior stakeholders, and write deliverables in both languages. As a Consulting Manager (m/f/d) Data & AI Strategy, you will act as a trusted sparring partner to executives, steer complex transformation programs across functions, and drive organizational change at scale.   MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead AI Transformation Programs: Steer end-to-end execution of enterprise-level AI transformations. Identify internal champions, navigate corporate politics, manage structural blockers, and drive measurable user adoption and organizational change.  * Strategy & AI Use Case Scoping: Work closely with C-level stakeholders to answer high-stakes questions: How can AI reshape their business models? How should they govern data? While you don't need to be a full-time programmer, you have a hands-on understanding and can credibly demo working AI concepts and discuss data privacy and technical constraints. * Analytical & Technical Acumen: Knowledge about common machine learning techniques, cloud architectures, and data management principles. Excellent quantitative skills to draw strategic insights from complex data sets. * Communication & Presence: Outstanding communication, presentation, and moderation skills. You have a strong presence and can translate complex technical topics into compelling arguments for non-technical senior executives, as well as bridge the gap to technical execution teams. * Education: Excellent academic track record with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitative field. * Languages: Business-fluency in both German and English (written and spoken) is mandatory to successfully advise our German clients and lead workshops.
