About the Platform Team Every product team's ability to move fast depends on what's running underneath it. The Platform team builds that foundation for Bettermile, from shared infrastructure and authentication to observability, alerting, and developer tooling, so product teams can build, deploy, operate, and secure their products with confidence. The Platform Team's mission is to empower product teams by minimizing their cognitive load, so they can move faster and deliver more business value to our customers. You will be joining a highly impactful role where you will balance hands-on technical execution (approx. 60%) with strategic stakeholder engagement and mentorship (approx. 40%). Our current tech stack: AWS(CDK, EC2, ECS, S3, EventBridge, SQS, Location Services, API Gateway), Pulumi, Kotlin, New Relic, Snowflake, PagerDuty, GitHub, GitHub Actions, GitHub Copilot and Claude Code. YOU WILL BE TAKING CARE OF * Driving the evolution and stabilization of our central authentication systems * Taking ownership of our infrastructure's observability, scalability, security, and cost-efficiency, in close collaboration with teams and stakeholders * Implementing infrastructure-as-code across our ecosystems * Providing Mentorship for platform senior engineers, guiding their professional growth, and fostering strong cross-team collaboration * Implementing the company vision by championing DevOps culture, and establishing platform engineering best practices across the organization * No echo chambers here!
