WHAT YOU'LL DO The Director of Commercial Excellence is a senior, cross-functional role responsible for synthesizing and packaging commercial content for Board of Directors (BOD), executive, and Leadership Team consumption. This person will partner closely with the CCO and functional leads across market access, pricing, marketing, and launch planning to translate complex commercial work into clear, well-structured materials for senior stakeholders — while also elevating the broader team's ability to build and present that content effectively. This role is ideal for someone with a top-tier consulting background (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) who is skilled at structured problem-solving and executive-caliber communication, and who brings a collaborative, low-ego approach to working across functions they do not directly manage. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Board & Executive Reporting * Build BOD-ready materials, synthesizing input from commercial, market access, pricing, and marketing teams into clear, decision-ready narratives * Prepare compensation committee materials and other executive-level reporting as needed * Partner with the CCO and President/CEO to ensure materials reflect current priorities and anticipate senior stakeholder questions Commercial Content Development * Develop and maintain commercial updates tied to launch plans, ensuring consistency across workstreams * Translate market access and payer positioning work into clear, structured presentations * Support the packaging of pricing and marketing input into cohesive commercial narratives * Ensure materials across functions maintain a consistent narrative, format, and level of rigor Leadership Team Enablement * Train and coach members of the Leadership Team on structured, consulting-style slide-building and storytelling (e.g., pyramid principle, executive summary framing, data visualization best practices) * Establish templates, standards, and best practices for LT-level materials to reduce rework and improve consistency across functions * Act as a resource and thought partner to functional leads preparing their own board- or exec-facing content WHERE YOU'LL WORK This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration 3-4 days per week in our San Francisco Office and Palo Alto offices. WHO YOU ARE * 4–6 years of experience, including a background in top-tier management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) or equivalent strategic/analytical experience * Demonstrated ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems into clear, executive-ready narratives * Strong command of slide-building best practices (structured storylines, data visualization, executive summary framing) * Experience in biotech, pharma, or healthcare preferred; familiarity with commercial functions such as market access, pricing, or marketing a plus * Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with comfort operating at Board and C-suite level * A collaborative, humble approach — able to influence and coach peers and senior stakeholders without formal authority over their functions * High attention to detail and comfort operating under tight timelines tied to Board and leadership cadences WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE * BOD and executive materials are consistently clear, well-structured, and ready with minimal last-minute revision * Leadership Team members build stronger, more consistent materials independently over time * Cross-functional partners (market access, pricing, marketing) view this role as a trusted thought partner, not a bottleneck or gatekeeper #LI-LN1 At BridgeBio, we strive to provide a market-competitive total rewards package, including base pay, an annual performance bonus, company equity, and generous health benefits. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will depend on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience within the industry, educational background, location of residence and performance during the interview process. We offer both printable and digital resources for all school types, subjects, and grade levels. That’s where your impact begins. Join us! THE OPPORTUNITY We are building Public Sector Unit into one of the main drivers of eduki's business — the way schools, and in time entire school authorities and ministries, buy and share teaching materials. It's an enormous opportunity, and we're looking for one person to own it end to end. You'll build this business unit from the ground up and lead it: the strategy, the product direction, the commercial results, and eventually the team. You get to create something new and truly own it — but you do it standing on the shoulders of a proven platform, 3 million+ teachers and a company that's continuously growing. It's the entrepreneurial challenge of a startup without starting from nothing. You'll be the heart and the brain of this unit. Conditions: Full-time role, based in Germany, fixed salary (59.800€–75.000€ gross) + stock option package (VSOP). YOUR IMPACT As Business Unit Lead – Public Sector (all genders), you turn Public Sector into a real, growing business and make eduki the obvious default choice for how a school buys and shares teaching materials. Your ambition is to make it one of the main drivers of eduki overall. Here's what that looks like day to day: * Own the strategy. You decide where we focus, what we test, and what we stop — from how we define the market to how we price, package, and position. * Sell and grow revenue. You run real conversations with schools, close deals, and grow revenue hands-on from day one — using your deep understanding of how schools work and decide to turn what you see in the field into sharper segments, positioning, and product direction. * Shape the product. You bring the market and commercial perspective to our Product team, giving evidence-based input on what to build next, so schools genuinely need what we offer. * Build the foundations. You put the essentials in place — a simple pipeline, core sales and marketing materials, clear reporting, and a playbook others can build on. * Connect across eduki. You work closely with Product, Tech, Finance, Legal, and leadership to get what the unit needs, while keeping an eye on the bigger opportunity with school authorities and ministries. * Grow the team. Over time, you build and lead a team across Sales, Key Accounts, and Product Marketing — starting by leading through doing. YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERTISE We're looking for a Business Unit Lead – Public Sector (all genders) who is genuinely excited to build a new, important pillar of eduki's business and help us achieve our mission to enhance education. This is the perfect role for you if: * You've built something from zero before — a company, a business line, a new market — and you enjoy creating structure where none exists yet. * You know German schools inside out. You've sold to and worked with many of them across different federal states, and you understand what actually drives their decisions. * You're a skilled negotiator, comfortable navigating institutional buying processes with multiple stakeholders. * You think in evidence, not opinions. You've shaped a real business decision — pricing, packaging, or market entry — using data, and convinced leadership to approve it. * You build the tools and processes you need as you go, rather than waiting for someone else to set them up. * You can use German naturally, speaking and writing on a C2-level. You also feel comfortable communicating in English and working in an international team. Please note: Due to legal restrictions, we can only hire candidates living in and owning a valid work permit for Germany. eduki is a German company, and you will receive a direct work contract with us according to German work law. OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU Attractive Compensation Package: The total compensation for this role is up to 86.250 EUR per year and consists of a fixed salary and a VSOP (Virtual Stock Options Program) package. Depending on your skills and competencies, as well as your individual performance, the gross annual salary will range between 59.800 EUR and 75.000 EUR. Growth Opportunities: At eduki, you will find an exciting job opportunity within a profitable and fast-growing company. We prioritize action over perfection and view mistakes as opportunities for growth. Regular performance feedback sessions ensure that you receive constructive insights into your work and progress. Additionally, you will receive a 1,000 EUR development budget per year to invest in your professional development goals. Working from Home: We fully embrace a home office culture and want you to enjoy full flexibility by enabling you to set your own work schedule. In addition to providing the necessary software and hardware, we offer a 500 EUR budget that you can freely use to equip your home office. Furthermore, you can work from abroad for up to 90 days per year with us! Employee Health: Your well-being matters to us. To help you take care of both body and mind, we offer online yoga sessions and actively support mental health by allowing time for therapy or coaching sessions during your working hours. Take advantage of your flexible schedule to prioritise what you need, including your health! Team Building Events: At eduki, we foster a strong sense of community. Whether virtual or on-site, you'll have opportunities to bond with your colleagues. Once a year, the entire team enjoys a company-wide team event, visiting new places and creating lasting memories together.
