What you’ll do Right now, we are looking for a Head of Quality & Metallurgy to join our Operations & Production organization in Boden. In this role, you will lead the Quality & Metallurgy team and play a critical role in ensuring product quality, process performance, and continuous improvement across our operations. You will combine technical expertise with people leadership, helping to shape both our products and our ways of working as we ramp up one of the world's most advanced green steel plants. The Metallurgical Development function provides technical expertise to manufacturing operations while driving mission-focused development with a strong emphasis on quality, environmental performance, and economics. The team develops process control approaches and manufacturing procedures to support fossil-free steel production. You will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, and Technology teams to ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards while continuously improving performance and efficiency. * Lead, develop, and support the Quality & Metallurgy team * Drive excellence in safety, health, and environmental performance * Partner with operational managers on technology and process development * Drive continuous improvement initiatives across quality, metallurgy, and manufacturing processes * Ensure the team effectively supports production units and product release activities * Provide technical expertise and guidance in metallurgy, steelmaking, and process optimization * Support the development of manufacturing procedures and process control strategies * Contribute to Stegra's mission of delivering high-quality fossil-free steel What you’ll bring You are a technically strong leader with a passion for metallurgy, quality, and continuous improvement. Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below: * Degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related field * Extensive experience within steel production, metallurgy, or quality management * Experience working with carbon steels, micro-alloys, HSLA, UHSS, electrical steels, or similar products * Strong understanding of steelmaking and process technologies * Experience with product development in production environments * Knowledge of quality systems, standards, and continuous improvement methodologies * Experience with metallurgical and chemical testing * Familiarity with standards and certifications such as ISO, VDA, IATF, or equivalent * Strong communication skills in English Benefits at Stegra At Stegra, you’ll join a company where your work has real impact on the climate, the industry, and future generations. Placement: Boden What you’ll do Right now, we are looking for an Area Manager Water Treatment Plant for our Project Delivery team. In this role you will report to our Area Director Green Steel and work within our Project Delivery function. The team is responsible for delivering one of the world's most advanced industrial projects, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution across all project phases. As Area Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the Water Treatment Plant area, leading delivery from construction through commissioning and handover. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage EPCM partners, OEMs, and contractors, and ensure the area is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well. * Own the delivery of the Water Treatment Plant area, including scope, quality, schedule, and budget * Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate EPCM partners, OEMs, and contractors to ensure aligned execution * Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSE requirements and industry best practices * Develop and execute area strategies, work packages, and procurement plans in collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, and Project Managers * Manage area budgets, forecasts, priorities, and resource allocation across multiple work packages * Oversee area schedules and remove execution constraints through structured lookahead planning * Monitor performance, risks, productivity, and project controls data to support informed decision-making * Coordinate interfaces with adjacent areas, utilities, and shared services while driving collaboration across the project What you’ll bring You’re curious and believe that real progress happens when we work together.
