About the role As a Business Manager at Qamcom, you will grow and develop our business by building long-term customer relationships and identifying new opportunities. Driving the full sales cycle from identifying opportunities to negotiating agreements. In this role, the Business Manager also leads and develops a team of 15 or more highly talented and experienced engineers. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a technical background and at least 6 years of relevant sales, business development and leadership experience, who combines a strong commercial mindset with a genuine interest in people and technology. To succeed in this role, you have: * Proven experience in technical sales: projects, work packages, products with customisations, technology or engineering consulting services. * Leadership experience. * Great interest in and understanding of technology, such as embedded systems, electronics and SW, signal processing and AI, or related engineering disciplines. * Strong communication and relationship-building skills. * A proactive, business-driven approach with a passion for creating growth. * Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. You will work closely with engineering teams and platform vendors to evolve the bank's core banking capabilities, ensuring they meet business, operational and regulatory needs while supporting growth across products and markets. WHAT YOU'LL DO * Own the roadmap and backlog for the Core Banking domain, covering a portfolio of internally developed and licensed platforms. * Prioritise and sequence delivery together with the IT teams responsible for core banking systems and integrations. * Own the product logic supporting customer accounts and product lifecycle management, including product configuration, interest calculation, fees, billing cycles, repayment hierarchies, servicing processes and account lifecycle events. * Drive the evolution of core banking capabilities across lending, cards, deposits and payments. * Work closely with payment and card-processing teams to ensure seamless integration between core banking platforms, payment rails and external partners. * Shape platform decisions in an "orchestrate, not rip-and-replace" strategy: which products run on which platforms, what should be migrated, and which capabilities should be exposed through orchestration and customer-facing channels. * Translate business, regulatory, operational and accounting requirements into scenario-based, testable product requirements with clear acceptance criteria and traceability from requirement to test. * Act as product counterpart to platform vendors, including scope definition, acceptance testing and release sign-off. * Partner with operations, finance, compliance, risk and engineering teams to ensure platforms remain scalable, compliant and fit for future growth. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR * Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role within banking or financial services. * Strong understanding of core banking processes, including customer accounts, product setup, interest and fee handling, billing, repayments, servicing and product lifecycle management. * Experience working with platforms that support consumer lending, credit cards, deposits or transactional banking products. * Working knowledge of payments and card processing, including SEPA payments, settlements, reconciliations and payment integrations. * Proven ability to write precise, testable requirements for complex financial and operational processes and to follow them through delivery and acceptance. * Experience with platform migrations, modernisation programmes, or system consolidation initiatives in a live banking environment. * Comfortable operating across business, engineering, operations, finance, risk and compliance in a regulated environment. STRONG PLUS * Hands-on experience with Corniche (Megasol), Mambu, Temenos, Thought Machine, Finastra, TCS BaNCS, FIS or similar core banking platforms. * Experience with consumer lending, deposits, cards, BNPL or multi-product banking environments. * Experience working with vendor-operated platforms, including SLA management, acceptance testing and release governance.
