We are seeking an experienced and hands on Tech Leader for our Machine Learning Team. This pivotal role involves the development of our ML framework and platform, develop Machine learning models and support our MLOps initiatives, serving as the Subject matter expert for the area. Your work will directly impact users and contribute to our ongoing success in the competitive market.   A TASTER OF WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED WITH:  * Design and develop the frameworks and guardrails for the ML Solutions and products * Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to inform strategy development and ensure competitiveness * Direct the exploration and implementation of new AI technologies and methodologies, including MLOps * Lead the Design and development of Betsson’s ML platforms and solutions, addressing both batch and real-time solutions. * Provide technical leadership, setting clear deliverables and supporting team to achieve the results * Responsible for review and approval of key technical solutions * Design, develop, deploy and maintain a framework and a platform to leverage and standardize the utilization of Machine learning across the company * Oversee the entire machine learning lifecycle, from data collection and pre-processing to model deployment and monitoring. * Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to integrate machine learning models into production systems.     WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * Bachelor’s in computer science, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Our Sportsbook AI/ML Team is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to make a difference in the design and further development of AI and Machine Learning solutions for both internal and external business needs. We have a world-class Sportsbook, developed in-house by our dedicated Sportsbook tech team and growing at a very rapid rate, expanding not only in new markets but also as a B2B product. Having our product available in different parts of the world and offering sports all around the world requires to have support around the clock. Our Product Development organisation is truly Global with cross functional teams spanning many Tech Hubs. THE WOW From Architecture to Trading teams, our Sportsbook is an in-house platform that also hosts brand offerings for customers. From the tools traders use to the cutting-edge features available for betting on various sports, these teams are the backbone making it all possible. The goal is to deliver top performance, functionality, and user experience in the iGaming industry. As a Data Engineer, you are expected to deliver (across industries) on some of our most complex projects - individually or by leading small delivery teams. Although we work for the biggest multinational companies where years-long behemoth projects are the norm, our projects are fast-paced, typically 2 to 4 months long. The majority are delivered using Apache Spark/Databricks on AWS/Azure and require you to directly manage the customer relationship, alone or along with a Project Manager. Additionally, at this seniority level, we expect you to compound your impact across the team and the organization - by mentoring more junior engineers, evaluating the quality of their work, and contributing to hiring best-in-class data engineers. What does it take to fit the bill? * Consultant mindset & passion for customer experience - you prioritize your work with the customer in mind and you seek to advise (rather than purely execute) your customers on the best-in-class technical solutions; * Excellent communication & presentation skills - you can adjust your communication style, and articulate complex, technical concepts to all types of audiences; * Solid software engineering foundations - you are a stack-agnostic senior software engineer, have significant experience working on Unix/Linux, and a strong understanding of how Distributed Systems work. Additionally, you are familiar with (and keen to follow) best-in-class software engineering principles;  * Data & Cloud are part of your engineering journey - you played a role in teams that designed and implemented data-intensive applications and you have strong SQL & NoSQL hands-on experience.
