While acting small by investing in you, your growth, your team, and giving you the autonomy to solve our clients’ problems, no matter where you are in the world.  WHAT YOU'LL DO * Lead the design and implementation of test strategies and plans  * Mentor and guide mid-level and junior QA engineers * Develop and maintain automated test frameworks using Cypress, Jmeter, and Postman * Conduct code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality  * Analyze test results and provide recommendations for improvements  * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle  * Drive the adoption of best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes  * Act as a subject matter expert in software testing and quality assurance WHAT YOU BRING (BASELINE) * Expertise in Cypress and TypeScript, Jmeter, Jest, Postman, SQL/DB, and Jira  * Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools * Proficient in writing and executing complex test cases and test scripts * Expertise in end-to-end, API, and performance/load testing * Familiarity with source/version control such as Git * Familiarity with AWS CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices TAKE INTO ACCOUNT:  * You will have to communicate with your team members abroad, therefore fluency in English and excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) are a must for this role WHAT DO WE OFFER? * We enjoy spending time together, working closely with other local colleagues, and getting to know one another. Job Description As a Senior Software Engineer in the Price Adjustments product, you will design, build, and improve secure, scalable backend solutions that support pricing and adjustment capabilities across H&M. You will work end-to-end across the software lifecycle, from solution design and development to testing, release, maintenance, and continuous improvement. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing backend systems using .NET/C#. Drive API design and system-level decisions with focus on maintainability, performance, and extensibility. Together, you will help build modern digital solutions that enable H&M to deliver reliable, secure, and customer-focused technology at scale. WHO YOU ARE We are looking for people with... Strong experience with .NET Framework / C# and backend development in enterprise environments. Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud architecture patterns, and Azure security best practices. Strong knowledge of Entity Framework, T-SQL, and SQL Server, including schema design and performance tuning. Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, and scalable backend architectures. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, preferably with GitHub Actions or similar tools. Experience with debugging, performance tuning, observability, and production incident management. Solid knowledge of secure coding and application security practices. Bonus: Azure certifications, Azure Data Factory, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, messaging systems, or large-scale distributed systems. And people who are... WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM * A degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. * Experience independently delivering backend features end-to-end in a cloud environment. * Solid experience with .NET / C# backend development. * Hands-on experience with at least some of the following: * Relational databases such as PostgreSQL * Docker and basic containerized workflows * Cloud platforms such as AWS * Message-based or asynchronous systems (e.g., Kafka or equivalents) * Familiarity with microservices concepts and API-driven architectures. * Comfortable breaking down tasks, estimating work, and delivering features incrementally. * Experience or interest in using AI-assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, CodeWhisperer) to improve productivity and code quality. * Fluent in English. Nice to have * First experience with Kafka or other streaming / messaging systems. * Exposure to Kubernetes / ECS or cloud-native DevOps practices. * Basic experience with performance tuning or database optimizations. * Experience working in SaaS or API-first products.
